From the Boston Tea Party to your neighborhood pork protest

By Michelle Malkin  •  February 16, 2009 04:38 PM

In Schmucky Schumer’s world, these American taxpayers don’t exist. A big crowd of them gathered in Seattle this afternoon to raise their voices in opposition to the trillion-dollar, pork-filled Generational Theft Act of 2009 — which will be signed into law by the blind President “There are no earmarks” Obama. Thanks to Zac Petersen for the photos. It took just one person — blogger Liberty Belle — to get the ball rolling. She writes: “Make no mistake, the President will be signing that bill tomorrow, I have no illusions that he will actually listen to us. BUT, maybe, just maybe we can start a movement that will snowball across the nation and get people out of their homes, meeting each other and working together to redirect this country towards its truly radical founding principles of individual liberty and freedom. Maybe people will wake up slowly at first, and then quickly when they realize the urgency needed.”

A few more pics from Seattle blogger Snark Patrol here.

And more from American Typo, including this one:

Update: KIRO TV covered the event. Watch for the unhinged lib who tries to disrupt the peaceful protest with a Nazi salute.

The movement continues in Denver tomorrow. Colorado Americans for Prosperity is organizing a protest countering President Obama’s visit to the city to sign the porkulus legislation at an exclusive, invitation-only event at the Denver Museum of Nature & Science in City Park. Protesters will gather at the west steps of the Capitol (Lincoln Street, between 14th and Colfax) from 11:00 a.m. to 2 p.m. Mountain time.

I am making good on my promise to deliver a roasted pig to the event.

I’ve heard from readers in Nashville and NYC who are trying to organize events of their own. What are you doing? From the Boston Tea Party…to the Denver Pig Roast. Show Schmucky and the generational thieves you care, you count, and you’re ready to move from melting the phones to pounding the pavement for fiscal responsibility.

Tell me, “Ihatemycountry”, what makes you think that anybody other than yourself is remotely interested in what the New York Slimes has to say about anything?

Citing the NYT? They have no credibility left. They have become political activists instead of reporters.

It would be like me citing Rush Limbaugh to you.

and so it starts in Illinois Liability insurance required for gun owners.

Are gun owners allowed to sue for punitive damages resulting from psychological and post traumatic stress caused by idiot criminals who physically stopped my bullets?

Oh, you guys should calm down – at least Ann Coulter still suppors all of you:

“Coulter spends the better part of three pages defending a group called the Council of Conservative Citizens (CCC), which The New York Times had described as a “thinly veiled white supremacist organization.

I bet the CCC supports something ridiculous, (to the NYT), like enforcing the Constitutional requirement to “protect the states from invasion” by actually securing the borders and deporting those who are here illegally.

Hey “Ilove mY Country”,, do you happen to be living in a white guilded gated community where you proclaim you are one hundred percent non racist? I bet you never had a garage, house, or car tagged either. I’m part Native American and I around here on the reservation we tire of white liberals who say one thing and then run home to their white enclaves.
