We here in Colorado waged our small war against incumbents, but still Udall won, and he ran the most incompetent campaign! His ads were total lies, but his is a family dynasty, doncha know!

Ho Ho! I had the very same thing happen with Udall, and had the same reaction. How Dare You? I sent my email to the local paper in Grand Junction … didn’t get printed, of course. I sent this email buggery to Rocky Mountain news and Denver Post and didn’t get printed, of course. But here it is for you …

I also faxed and emailed Senator Udall to vote no on the stimulus and added a comment about his party’s involvement in the whole pile of BS. Got a usual baffle-gab response. Back when I was transplanted to CO by Uncle Sam, some 39 years ago, CO was and had been solidly “Red”. Sad how far this great state and now nation has sunk.

Looking at the last by-county election summary, there has been a steady line snaking of “blue” from the blue “enclaves” of Pueblo and Denver converging on the mountain celebrity “beautiful” people “enclaves” of Vail, Aspen, etc. Weez bein’ roont!

The Udalls, Kennedy’s, Hahns (in Los Angeles) the Daleys in Chicago are exactly what the Founding Fathers warned us about. Here we have generations of the same families serving the people. Does anyone wanna take a bet on how long it takes Chelsea Clinton to throw her hat into the ring?

Government service was never intended to become a life-long career. If we don’t wake up now and stop this madness our Republic is finished. It’s time for term limits on Congress. These parasites have been feeding at the government trough for too long.

I’m another Coloradan saddened by the leftward shift of my state. I’m not happy about Prez Soetoro being here today. When I sent identical letters to then Sens Allard and Salazar, Allard replied, in letter form and specific to the issue. Salazar did not reply, and now he’s Sec of the Interior and continuing his tradition of ignoring the citizenry.

Silly rabbit! Stimulus is so YESTERDAY. Sen. Udall was just adjusting to the new talking points of the day — Obama’s next big crisis that he and Rahm will exploit to the Dems advantage, and that is, of course, the Housing Crisis. You know, that burst bubble that threw Wall Street into a panic? Which led to all the hoo-haw and the recession? Well, now we have to throw more money into the money pit to void constitutionally sound and legal contracts because 2-4 percent of home buyers are upside down in their mortgages, and their dog-eared copies of “Flip This House” aren’t of any value at all. So NATURALLY Udull is off on a new Dem topic for the day. Watch and see if the auto industry doesn’t appear tomorrow.

Over the last several years, there have been a number of steps taken by Congress to help alleviate families struggling with foreclosure.

Uh, sorry numbnuts…nothing was done over the “last several years” other than Barney Frank and Chris Dodd blocking any meaningful reform.

I welcome your letters and e-mails and always listen closely to what you and other Coloradans have to say about matters before Congress,

Doesn’t seem so in this case now does it. Perhaps you could get someone to read your constituents email to you since you obviously couldn’t make out what was said.

You may want to send an e-mail at some time to a representative other than your own. The House web site has a contact form that starts with the zip code. Some districts are so gerrymandered that you may need all nine digits to find the representative. Here is how to start.

1. Find the target congressman’s district.
2. get the address of his district office including the zip code
3. use Google maps to find the address of some franchise restaurant or store that is in the district.
(e.g. type McDonalds 99003 into google maps search line and it will return a list of stores with full address that are in or close to that zip code..
4. Use zip + 4 to find the nine digit zip for the stire
5. Enter the nine digit zip into the congressman’s wen form. (Hopefully you’ll have a hot. You may have to try a few addresses to get one that work (i.e. is in his district).
6. Use the street address for the store.
7 Use your own name or a pseudonym.
8. Use your own e-mail address or an e-mail adress that is set up for a posudonym (especially if you want a reply since you won’t be around to collect any snail mail
9. Send your message to the congressperson. Don’t use vulgarity. Just be firm and direct and express your opinion. He won’t know that you are not a constituent and his staff will cumulate the messages coming across to help the congressman respond to issues.

10. The congressman could use IP addresses to qualify the mail so that you may not have much affect beyond his home state but there is no way in a large city to qualify who is and who isn’t a constituent based solely on IP address. You could be writing from work for all he knows.
