I live in IL, but I’m not from here. It was quite a shock to see how people think in this state. At least to this point, these people’s attitudes about corruption has been that it’s cute or “just the way it’s done here”.

I think they are genuinely embarassed by this latest round because it has received national attention. They get annoyed at me, however, when I tell them that if Blago weren’t impeached and Daley endorsed him and the Democratic Machine was behind him next election, the lemmings in IL would vote him back into office despite any federal indictments.

I propose that we put the large, corrupt cities like Detroit, Chicago, San Francisco, Seattle, etc. in their own category for voting purposes. That way, we could allow the rest of the states that house those cities get their own electoral votes. The blue cities bring down the whole state and don’t really represent the will of the people. They only represent the poor, welfare dependent liberals. There are quite a few things that need to be changed in our election system!!

If the number of convicted and jailed Chicago alderman since 1972 was extrapolated to the US House, it would be as if over 240 congressman had gone to jail in the same period, or about 6 to 7 every year for 37 years.

I am game, put them in jail and we can have a trial later. Without a quorum they can't do too much damage. If any of them can prove they are innocent we will consider a commutation of their sentence--Lets call it the Ramos/Compean Plan. Welcome home good sirs.

Look at the red/blue map. Mainstream America votes red, but when you get the ACORN votes going in the big cities, we’re toast. Except for Chicago & E. St.Louis, the state votes primarily conservative. As for George Ryan, doesn’t matter that he had the “R” after his name. He was part of the corrupt Chicago political machine. Big Jim Thompson was another Chicago crook with the “R” after his name. He just didn’t get caught. They don’t even pretend to move to Spfld, but waste thousands of dollars at the taxpayer’s expense for daily flights to/from Chicago. It’s just amazing to me that creeps like Blago can get re-elected when everyone knows what a crook he is. Yeah, just a fine example of Nobama’s thug Chicago friends. Hopefully, we’ll get to see his senate replacement, Roland Burris go down in flames.

Well, now we know why BHO ran for the senate seat.

Now we also know why he was elected…corruption.

Wow, that’s quite a track record. And the stupid people of IL continue to vote for Democrats. They just don’t learn, do they?

Acorn doing their good work, it appears. I wonder how many of BHO’s constituents were alive when he won his 1st seat. Wait, I remember now, he had them disqualified or removed from the race for some other reason.
