Geert Wilders in D.C. on Friday

Washington is going to be THE place to be on Friday. First, the Tea Party.
Then, this:
On Friday, February 27, 2009, Dutch Member of Parliament Geert Wilders, founder and floor leader of the Freedom Party (PVV), and the International Free Press Society (IFPS), in conjunction with the Center for Security Policy, will discuss recent attacks on free speech worldwide, especially the recent legal actions against Wilders and other political leaders and journalists.
The International Free Press Society will announce a global initiative to protect free speech from laws that criminalize any criticisms of Islam or the doctrines of Shariah.
The event will include a screening of Fitna, the controversial film which includes quotations from the Koran, documentary footage of Islamic leaders inciting violence (jihad) based on those quotations, and documentary footage of jihadist violence. The film can be viewed on the Internet here.
Mr. Wilders will discuss his efforts to show Fitna and to rally support for free speech and the right to criticize Islam.
Frank Gaffney, President of the Center for Security Policy, will discuss the dangers to America’s national security and civil liberties imposed by global oppression of free speech.

Sen. Jon Kyl has also invited Wilders to show Fitna in the Senate.

It was my understanding Beck was having Geert on his show today. That should plow up some snakes with the rop.

We need a link to Fitna. Use this one.

Disturbing, but important to watch. Know your enemy !
You mean to tell me that Obama is going to let someone into this country who is going to openly criticize Islam? One who also advocates free speech? Obviously, the Administration’s vetting of this guy was as thorough as that of Richardson, Daschle, et al.
Can’t wait to see the left go “berserk” over this one. Should be quite entertaining. Free speech is one of the first things that despots, dictators, and meglomanics curtail. Right, Washington?
By all means, please please please let Mr. Wilders show Fitna in the Senate. If only to see if US Senators are as spineless as British MPs/Lords and seek to have Mr. Wilders banned from the USA.
I will be at CPAC. I need to see him!
Mark Steyn reports:
Please G-d; don’t let us fall into the same trap as our older brother!
He’ll be banned. Just watch.
I should have said, Beck in having Geert on his Fox show at 4. That is what I heard. Please tune in if you can.

*Please know we have 2 enemies; Islamofascists and their enablers(MSM, PC crowd, Hollywood, liberal marxists, Democratic Party, et al); Wake up people!
I hope they do show it in the Senate. No doubt Reid and his spineless ilk will be first to protect any showing.
err.. protest…
I’m glad my Senator Kyl from Arizona is behind this.
It would be nice if all the newspapers had a headline that said “All the news that’s Fitna to print!” But, somehow I think that they’ll manage to ignore it all.
Roll Over Republicans and Bend Over Democrats. Failure has many faces. Return power to citizen legislators.
I’m not sure what to believe now, I contacted Sen. Kyl’s Phoenix, and D.C. numbers and they knew nothing about this.
Oh my, that’ll be a blog post.
That’s what I thought you meant.
Shelby Steele just drove off a cliff. He says that if the Maine repub’s complain about their senators the Repub. National Party will listen. Bravo Sierra alert.
Until they do, No problemo…
Watch every liberal Democrat in D.C. do a spot on, perfect impression of an ostrich!
To see the film follow (cut and paste) the link to DC Republican.

This should be mandatory viewing – wonder if we can get Bridges to air it. They won’t notice as their CEO, Muzzammil Hassan, is going to be a bit busy for the next 25 to life.
Do you mean that they will bend over?!
I have a few choice words for CAIR but I’d be booted from the site if I used ‘em, so….may these jihadist’s find themselves where they belong, back in the 7th century.
Obama will do it for them.
