Aw shucks. I like the sham-wow guy.
He’d probably make a better President. At least when the Sham-Wow guy says his product does something, he backs it up with a working visual demonstration.
Obama’s promises and ideologies have been proven, time and again, to be catastrophic failures.
With the Sham-Wow plan we will be lucky if we have any change left in our pockets.
On another note, the National GOP party should do the same to the three Rino Senators that the California GOP did to 6 of their own.
Have you ever seen a sham-wow in real life. It is basically a cheap piece of felt and definitely does not deliver as promised.
Actually, I know several people personally that have it, use it, and love it.
I’ve seen it work.
BTW, Chris Dodd has been calling for the nationalization of banks. Dodd caused bank stocks to tank. I wonder if Dodd felt bad about all the middle class folks who lost so much of their investments, thanks to Dodd’s call for the government to take over banks.
Everyone should read Kevin Rennie’s column in the Hartford Courant (www.courant.com) on Sunday that lays out how Dodd was buddy-buddy with a stock swindler who got fined $300,000 and was convicted of stock shenanigans. Dodd then went to Bill Clinton and got the guy a pardon. Then Dodd went into a cozy relationship to buy up some land in Ireland and he has played fast and loose with his Senate disclosures in order to hide his financial relationship with the land and the swindler. It is a little hard to follow but check out the Hartford Courant from Sunday. Wonder if CNN will cover this story. Somehow I doubt it.
Oh you mean like a government bailout/stimulous plan…
Marc, fox news is reporting that it is expected that Obama is planning on unveiling yet another massive bank bailout plan shortly…
This is shocking to me. I hated them.
Chap, you walked into that one.
When you really think hard about it, the only thing that can ACTUALLY ’spread the wealth’ … is capitalism. Socialism can only spread misery because there is no incentive to create any wealth in the first place.
Suddenly I feel that my wife and I, living on a small pension and SS have suddenly
joinedbeen moved to the rich and privileged class in this country.No. I knew exactly where that one would go. But I cannot abide the ShamWow.
My sister gave us a package of it for Christmas. It’s really just an ‘approximation’ of chamois leather. When you dry your car with chamois there’s ZERO visible water left. This stuff is maybe a little better than a paper towel but no where near as good a chamois.
Sounds like Obama to me.

Excellent comeback, True Soldier!
Hmmm note to self, buy sham-wow…
Foxnews is about to show an interview from fox business where ACORN stats that people have a right to keep their homes whether they pay for them or not.
So now owning a home is a “right”????
I can’t bring myself to turn on the TV right now. It’s only 7:16 am. It will ruin my entire day hearing something like this.
I’m holding out for the SlapChop, myself.
Speaking of shams, car dealers are offering better and better deals as slowing demand leads to lowers prices. Duh. The dealers also are taking fewer cars into inventory too which leads to lower costs to the dealers. This is painful for GM, Ford, Toyota, etc. but it has the effect of lowering the retail value/price. This means we the people can get more car for less money. It’s called capitalism. So if the government gives car makers subsidies in the form of bailouts, the car makers have less incentive to lower prices because they would be in less financial pain. So by using the tax payers money to prop up the companies that are “too important to fail” we end up also paying higher prices if we do buy a car. We pay twice! Go back and look at the top 100 companies in 1909 that were “too big to fail”. They’re almost all gone because things change and companies must adapt and innovate to compete. Car maker subsidies are about one thing and one thing only: saving Union jobs by using our money to prop them up. Let them die or they’ll take all of us down with them.
Why would banks still lend money when “borrowers” are not expected to pay them back according to the original specifications of the contract?
The government is needed to make sure these people don’t sign contracts they can’t afford, and will lower the interest rate if they want?
Nanny state, indeed.
Hey…to each his own.
Too bad Obama doesn’t stick to Vince’s script with, “We can’t do this all day”.
uh, we’ve? I didn’t vote for the Nimrod.
I attended a congressional town hall meeting on Sat.
I’d say half of the people there were there only for the purpose of getting other peoples money.
Even when it was brought up that others would have to pay, one woman at least was honest – she said “It doesn’t matter, the government is supposed to do this for me”.
Democracy’s fail when the people realize they can vote themselves whatever they want (not the exact quote, but pretty close).
Speaking of which, have you noticed the market decline in the number of Obummer bumper stickers?
It has seemed to me that in the past, the post election reduction was not nearly so abrupt.
(I know – not objective analysis at all – but an observation none-the-less)
Sounds like Baracky.
#28 – marked (not market)
Vince the ShamWow guy! I like him too, but when I heard Obama’s comments to Joe the Plumber I couldn’t think of anyone else.
Plus, those eyes. (That’s O’s face with Vince’s eyes).
I’m thinking there’s got to be a joke somewhere in the SlapChop too… hmmm…
That’s ok, we’ve learned to expect this from the left.
Ugly story, ugly truth but I did like the Photoshop of Dear Leader: it make him look like OJ Simpson.
But go ahead and soak the rich, tax business and regulate to his hearts content. And then his drooling sycophants can wonder where the recovery went.
Making America skinnier one SlapChop at a time.

Ha, Beachmom! “Oh, Bummer!” They’ve been duped! :0)
Better take away the evidence that they were dense enough to vote for him!
Thanks Ragman.
Or
we’ll be walking and riding bikes soon..just like China.
I remember during the debates that Obama was asked what federal programs he would cut or what proposed programs he would put on hold until we are through the recession. His answer was instructive, if surprisingly honest. He couldn’t think of one, or admit to one. In other words, spending full speed ahead. Oh, and we’re going to cut taxes for 95 percent of the people — to the tune of pennies a day. Now, the other 5 percent, they’re going to pay through the nose. And instead of lowering taxes on business, he’s going to increase them, even though that is an indirect tax on all consumers, since prices will go up accordingly. And he’ll take more money from the only ones who’re paying — encouraging them to find ways to avoid paying so much, like putting their money elsewhere. Even if the Swiss reveal whose money is in hiding, capital flight will likely continue.
I’m guessing there will be a bunch of liberal elites names at the top of the list. Kennedy, Turner, a good portion of Hollywood, and a bunch of Congressional names will appear. All the people that think it’s patriotic to pay taxes.
Which makes it a good analogy for the Porkulous package.
But you bought one. Hehe. Monday just began to feel like Friday…
Do the elitest scumbags that run that cesspool of washington realize that THEY are the upper class now? I mean the demoncraps don’t pay their taxes anymore than any other evil rich ceo, so what’s to keep this class “warfare” from turning around on them?
Sorry to crush your case of the Fridays, but no. I did not personally buy them.
Every time this administration has a new idea on how to pork the rest of us, the stock market tanks. Way to go Obama! Just the hope and change I was waiting for. Arggggg!
Thanks to Obamanomics, my 401(k), which was down 43%, is now down 52%, in just ONE MONTH! I can only hope that Obamanomics doesn’t destroy our financial system before normal market forces allow me to recoup my losses and before I retire.
Da One is not a friend to the working class. He’s working for the “elites” and the governmental dependencies.
The resistance is here; the resistance is now. RESIST!!!!
