Just got my copy of John Ziegler’s new film, Media Malpractice — a damning indictment of the MSM’s failures and partisan complicity during the 2008 presidential campaign.
————————————–
Every success to Mr. Ziegler and his documentary. This should show the truth about the MSM to all but the willfully blind.
The double standards are so glaring, the personal hatred sometimes so obvious.
John was on KFI in Los Angeles and we were sorry to see him go. I’m happy that he has gone on to better things but was always confident that he would do so.
I hope that he keeps score of who says what vs the truth so that those individuals will be held to account for destroying the country during the next 2-4 years.
Wow! It is all in one place, to look at and remember. This should not happen in our country. It is an outrage! Who in the hell elected the media? Enough is enough.
It is up to us to change it.
Sorry, I just had to rant a little…
So the media caused McCain to lose this election. Okeeodokey, I’m just checking in to see if the whining and lack of accountablility is still prevalent. It is, and so it goes.
We dems are safe in 2012.
You seem confused, obama is in power with a majority of dems in both houses.
Its thier mess now.
Only if you still have the media to cover your mess for you.
Isn’t that one of the things Barry Hussein is investing tax payer dollars in? That being the case, he’ll OWN the media that covers his ass in 2012,especially if he gets his version of the fairness doctrine passed. Never underestimate the evil of the powermongers.
just ordered it cant wait 2 watch it
I’ll be ordering my copy later today. Thanks Michelle.
Yet, your side is still complaining about the election. It’s sorta like the far left in 2001 and 2005.
Assuming that’s the case, do you conservatives have a plan B? Tell you what, role out Sarah Palin, we’ll mock and destroy her throught the media, and your side will remain clueless.
Wash, rinse, repeat.
undresiege… interesting moniker. Is the misspelling intentional?
Hummm, at least Pres. Bush was a natural born American citizen.
And now there are 42 lawsuits in place requesting proof of the libtard messiah’s credentials. Credentials that Doh One is “donating” millions to attorney friends in order to hide the truth.
An intelligent person would ask, “Why?”
The LibTards ask, “Why Not?”
I caught part of his interview with Matt Lauer yesterday in our employee cafeteria.
The part I saw John very respectfully used facts to ride Lauer like a borrowed mule.
Media Malpractice? They are doing exactly what they intended to do and did it well if dishonestly.
Malpractice? Wouldn’t “Lying Through Their Teeth” be more appropriate?
Guilty works too.
The death of Journalism or was that Journalist? Choices, choices. Katie Couric’s colon is not that interesting-turn off the TV. Go the range and practice.

Okay, so it’s whining to call you lot out on things that you not only admit to having done, but gleefully state that you plan to continue doing? I always thought that was called telling the truth.
Also, learn to spell, sugar. It’ll make you a little less of a “trole.”
Isn’t this what this post is about? The “media” has nothing to do with journalism, it’s all PR.
The media got their chosen president and they will continue to support Obama while the economy continues to tank. How many of them will lose their jobs because they chose to slant and ignore the truth about Obama? It was certainly more important for them to trash Palin than to vet Obama.
point out the truth to a libertard and they say your whining.
fact is the only reason i voted for McLame was because of palin.
Lets look at some facts .
it was the dems who didnt want any oversite on fanny and freddy. and said they were just fine.
It was nobama who gained traction on the economy that his buddys helped bust. And since he became president the dow lost 2000 points . Keep it up there Duh bama and in 2010 youll lose the house and in 2112 the white house .
Thats if the world is still around after dec 21 2012
Absolutely. The media didn’t choose Sarah Palin to be McCain’s running mate. Unless she, by some miracle, becomes intelligent and competent in 3-4 year. She’ll be destroyed again.
I guess you were ignoring the media when they were clearly rooting for Hillary Clinton in the weeks leading up to the Ohio primary and on. You must have missed the Rev. Wright scandal. I guess the it was media malpractice because though doing pieces on ACORN and Ayers, they weren’t as obsessive and clueless as the likes of MM.com, Beck and Hannity. I guess it’s the media’s fault that McCain was a weak candidate, who was a creepily horrible debater, and couldn’t effectively communicate good ideas.
This is a blog. There will by typos. If typos bother you, that’s not my praublumb. LOL
Who’s “we” knucklehead? Were it not for the army of Media lapdogs, there would have been no concerted attack on Palin, who is infinitely more qualified than the Chicago sock puppet. If she was as incompetent as depicted she would not have been attacked from all quarters by those seeking to protect Obama. There would have been no need. But the contrast between her and an unaccomplished political hoodlum was striking. By the way, still no one in America knows anything about little Il Duce because the “speak truth to power” folks deliberately refused to do their jobs.
No matter, in four years jughead will be gone, along with a substantial number of his marxist enablers in Congress. I hope the nation can survive that long.
No, McCain caused McCain to lose this election. But that has nothing to do with this documentary.
Ta da! There we have it. Perhaps you understand what this movie’s about, after all. The media’s not supposed to mock and destroy anyone.
It is all PR. My point is that it wasn’t the media’s fault that Obama won the election. Your side would only be happy if the “journalism” was as partisan against Obama as FoxNews and conservative blogs were. The media was clearly rooting for Hillary after the Rev. Wright scandal hit. If Obama would have picked an unknown Sarah Palin who was unable to get past Katie frickin Couric, the media would have destroyed her also. LOL, imagine if Obama would have picked OUR Sarah Palin, Carolyn Kennedy. The pregnant teenage daughter, and high school dropout soon-to-be son-in-law didn’t help. Whether you’re talking about liberals or conservatives, the media appreciates intellectual achievement, and are snobs. The you betcha and winking made her more of a PR personality as opposed to a politician also. The media can smell weakness, and pounce like rabid dogs. If Obama was as weak, and untalented as your side likes to present, he would have been trashed, notwithstanding the Sarah Palin pick by McCain. Heck, that’s just my view.
Tell you what, role out Sarah Palin, we’ll mock and destroy her throught the media,
————————————–
So, it’s the media’s place to “mock and destroy” political candidates, but NOT to be biased?
*Rolls eyes*
You have already admit your side is dishonest and uses the media as an attack dog.
If you really think that makes you look good, then I pity you.
There sure are a lot of trash talk in this blog today. I’ll check back later. I’m sure that when adult conversation surfaces either I’ll learn something of substance , or, I’ll get a rehash of the Palin kids. I know more already about them than my new lastest most polished up President.
Well they do. Ask Dukakis. That’s always been the case. One has to be media savvy enough not to pick a candidate who is unable to make it through the ringer. I think it’s silly to bit*$ and complain about the media being the media.
Pick a candidate that can win,end of story.
Fixed it for you, no need to thank me.
No debate from here. They wanted Reagan, and they wanted Bush I in 88, and Bush II in 00.
That’s right. You need the media on your side to win. That means not picking people like Sarah Palin.

The problem is that the media, in large part, determines who they want to “make it through the ringer” and who they do not. Very few – if any – of us could stand up to the kind of scrutiny politicians have to endure. But the media decides who “gets a pass” for their particular foibles and who does not.
And, if you’re a politician, you’re pretty much toast once the media has decided they don’t want you to make it.
Yes, we do. You won’t like it.
Undreseige, I’ve used this example before, but now I’ll put it to you:
Suppose it was Palin who had said that the U.S. has fifty-seven states.
Suppose it was Palin who had said that the word “jobs” has three letters.
She would have been forced off the ticket long before the election. But no, it was President Obama and Veep Biden who said those things. Were they called “incompetent”? Or worse? Were they publicly slaughtered by your beloved media? Obviously not.
Hence, good reason for the indictment of the media for failing to do their job. A journalists’ role is to report the news, not to pick sides.
***
Some historians say that George Washington was not the smartest person. But they say that his iron will to do the right thing and his ability to learn from his past mistakes and to do a much better future job were his strong points.
***
I think the same comments apply to Sarah Palin. She was a quick study during the campaign. And she will not repeat the 2008 campaign mistakes. No more “interviews” (aka hatchet jobs) with the “out of context” Katie Courac. No more listening to McCain handlers. Watch her Republican Convention speech again.

No, you need the media on your side to win. In a stand up fight, a conservative will win every time.
I have seen Ziegler do various talk shows and have found him disengenuous, and not exactly forthcoming when responding to questions. He spun everything said to him. I saw a clip from his site where he speaks to Obama supporters. And, it was spin, too. I am not sure a person from the Fifth District of California, or Alabama would know who Rep Barney Frank is. That was more ‘Jay Leno Man on the street’ than revelatory.
I will veiw the video, when I can find one to borrow. But, based on how Zeigler conducted himself up to the rollout of his documentary, I am not going to hold my breath, that he will not do what he has suggested the media has done.

Same goes for talk radio, which is why far-left “Fairness Doctrine” proponents don’t want THAT to be a “stand-up fight” anymore, either.
And Rush tries his best to even up the playing field, you know, the ‘half my brain tied behind my back’ routine and they still can’t compete.
What still amazes me are all the left wing wacko’s claims she’s stupid, she’s an idiot, a moron, or whatever, yet…where was this outrage when she ran for governor and the people of the state elected her?
Can you liberals please answer that question? If she was SO unqualified to be VP, why was she so qualified to be governor, yet no one said anything back then?
Crickets…chirping.
Yes the Liberals will mock and try and destroy Sara Palin, Joe the Plumber and others as they TRIED to do to Ronald Regan. That is what Liberals do- destroy.
These are the people of Williams Ayres 25 million dead unrepentant capitalist, the concentration/re-education camps in the southwest, these are the people who denied Stalin’s murders-or even justified them.
Since 1968 I have known that the political process alone would last only so long-the Left would someday be in position to make an extra-constitutional power grab. Are we there yet? I do not know, but this I do know: I will not go quietly into the camps-come and get me.
So thus I repeat:

Last night I was in the business social media site LinkedIn. I have a profile in there for business purposes, as we also host a company group site.
Out of whim, I decided to look up Sarah Palin for some reason. Although I found her official profile page, I also found another left wing wacko’s page for her as well. It has her title as “Wasilla Hillbilly”.
After I discovered this, I went to the terms and conditions page in the customer support area. They claim they take phony profiles seriously, and that anyone seeing such activity should report it to customer service. I promptly sent the URL (of the fake profile) along with my complaint to the customer service folks letting them know that this was “inappropriate”. Since I only emailed them last night, I’ll give them a couple of days to take it down.
Let’s see how long this takes, or if they even acknowledge my request.
Just goes to show you, this wackos are everywhere.
Yeah, because this site is notorious for its blind devotion to John McCain and frequented by people who think he was a strong candidate. Have you ever been here before?
McCain’s weakness as a candidate is an entirely seperate issue from the media doing everything it could to cover for Obama. The bias was so obvious that even Saturday Night Live was compelled to comment on it.
After just one month of having to actually govern (instead of just heckle) your messiah’s popularity has taken a nosedive. The economy remains weak and every time someone in the administration opens his mouth the market loses 200 points. If you think that’s a recipe for being safe in an election you must be some kind of lunatic.
Which would explain your being liberal, actually.
That’s just absurd.
Of course, Bill O’Reilly will call this a waste of time because Obama is already elected, so why bother? Seriously, that is exactly what he said about the ad showing how much 750 billion dollars is and Chucky Schumer’s “let them eat cake” comments. I have just purchased my copy of the video. It is excellent! A MUST see if we are ever going to get jounalistic honesty restored.
Thanks, media, for the least vetted POTUS ever! You covered up his lies, his past associations, his corrupt practices in Chicago. Now we are stuck with him. And so are all of you. So, MSM, how do you like losing your jobs and your investments? Maybe some of it would have happened anyway, but Obama is going to make sure nothing can save it.

The ad that said how much (I forget what the exact amount was) we would have to spend per year since the time of Christ’s birth (roughly 2000 years) to equal what is being spent on this stimulus bill? Yes, O’Reilly seems to think we should all be quiet and go along to get along now that the election/the stimulus package are “done deals”.
I say, dissent does not become UNPATRIOTIC because it is conservatives as opposed to liberals doing it.
Ding ding ding…winner!
Ding ding ding…another winner!
You guys are awesome. And the trolls sound even more dumb than usual today. Give up, trolls, your posts are garbage.
Yes, that is the ad I was referring to. And it is the reason I no longer watch that pompous jerk O’Reilly.
“Wasilla Hillbilly”: real class these libs. And if someone were to use the N-word for Barack Obama or Eric Holder would it take a member e-mail to alert them?
If some of the terms and slurs used against Michelle Malkin, Ann Coulter or Laura Ingram were used on Michelle Obama they would not last on this site or most conservative sites I know of.
I keep hearing and reading HATE accusations used against Right (as in correct) talk show hosts and commentators. Yet nary a word about Michael Moore, Teresa Kerry, Bill Maher and such leftist.
But who but a leftist would consider Truth Hate; It has been a trait of fascist, tyrants and thugs forever I do suppose. When a Democrat use the name and photo of Willie Horton against a Democrat it is information-a Republican uses it and it is racist. Liars, hypocrites, charlatans and frauds your name is Democrat. Go play some Mid Night Basketball and lie about ear marks and doing things with ping pong balls.

ROFLMAO. 1st time I saw the handle, I thot I was momentarily dyslexic and read “undressage”. When I double-checked, I figured it was some libtard attempt at French, so I just moved on.
Little did I realize that the libtard’s grasp of English was underseige — especially for a moniker. Nice meme for future reference…
I thought this post was about media malpractice? Seems those that have no answer to the video want to talk about the election. They won, ya know.
There is a HUGE different between having mispoken, and not being able to name a single Supreme Court case you disagree with. Go youtube, Palin talking about Putin “rearing his head” in Alaskan airspace as she explained her so-called foreign policy credentials.
There is also the phony, folksie, winkie, demeanor. The Palin problems go far, far beyond verbal typos like “57 states”. The fact that your side tries to present “57 states” as
some type of equivalent shows how lost some of you are. Nobody believes Obama thinks there are 57 states, or Biden thinks that “jobs” is a 3 letter word. Importantly, you don’t believe either. It’s just desperate and off base, and you know better.
I will probably order this documentary; but man…my blood pressure will rise. The hypocracy of the MSM is almost more than I can bare. I can still see Charlie Gibson’s smug, arrogant sour puss face while he interviewed Sarah Palin, and I want to put my foot up his ass. Now the hilariously named Fairness Doctrine, and all this other holier-than-thou crap by those POS that are as corrupt as Chinese and North Korean media. I just dont think anybody is going to be convinced who isnt already in the tank for fascist scummy democrats.
You’re talking about how the way things are supposed to be, and I’m talking about how things are, and always have been as long as I can remember.

My overall point was that no one – repeat, NO ONE – can go through the kind of scrutiny political candidates go through and come out completely unscathed. The difference is, how the media chooses to treat you. Whether you think that the Obama and Biden gaffes were a “big deal” or not, they were given, for the most part, a pass. Palin would not have been, had she said the same thing.
As you said, it’s been one month. And no that’s not a recipe for victory to win in 2012, unless the economy improves. The media will however pick a favorite, and the media favorite most often always wins a major election. If Obama is a bust, they’ll turn on him like they did Carter. What they won’t do is pick some incompetent hack like Palin.
So yes, if your party still can’t figure out how to work the media, and you pick Palin to as your nominee, we are safe in 2012. My gut tells me that your party leaders are smarter than folks like happyscrapper, and won’t allow her to blow another chance at the Whitehouse.
If the economy improves, and we stay safe from terrorist attacks at home, you can kiss 2012 goodbye regardless.
IMHO, and actually I’m certain about this:
No media member, or liberal could gain any traction in drubbing Palin for making a gaffe like “57 states” or “jobs is a 3 letter word”. It’s just petty and dumb. I think the Palin issues went way beyond that. Heck, members of your own party were bashing her in the so-called liberal media. Focusing on things like “57 states” which many on this site, including MM herself did, just seem petty and intellectually lazy.
I have very little good to say about Sarah Palin, but I’m confident that she knows how many states we have, and how to spell/count j-o-b-s.
I gotta run. Seeya.
I guess that if you’re okay with selling your soul to the devil to achieve what you want then, yes, this is ‘how things are’. If you can remember when the media were not whores for their candidate, like I do, then that’s not how it should be.
I pity you for your lack of moral certitude.
LOL. Spare me.
Well Madam, you must be a hell of a lot older than I am. Did you complain when the media was favoring the conservative candidates like Reagan? Did you complain when Dukakis was portrayed has a weakling and dork in 1988? If you did, I apologize for my suggestive tone.
I’m okay with winning the WhiteHouse with any and all legal means possible. If you prefer that your candidates be “above” that, then you deal with the rresults.
Pssst. Here’s a secret.
EVERY PRESIDENTIAL CAMPAIGN HAS PEOPLE PAID TO MANIPULATE, SPIN, AND PLAY THE MEDIA. THAT MEANS YOU GET PLAYED TOO. PALIN HAD THESE PEOPLE ALSO. THEY FAILED.
Okay, the secret is over. Now you know.
flmom…..please stop feeding the idiot troll
I obviously struck a nerve there, and thereby proved my point.
I probably am ‘a lot older than you are’, and therefore have witnessed the decline of integrity in journalism and politics. I don’t recall Reagan causing tingles in any journalists legs and as for Dukakis, he wasn’t portrayed as anything more or less than what he was.
I could agree with this statement if you were only talking about the candidates campaign staff, that’s their job, not the job of the media.
You’re right, it’s pointless arguing with someone who has no moral spine.
LOL. No you arrogant bugger. This is just internet blog giventake.
If you’re going back to the 60s, fine I can’t speak on that. Reagan was a beloved Icon, and untouchable until Iran/Contra hit. You know that.
Agreed, and insert Palin for Dukakis just the same.
Don’t be so obtuse at to suggest that both sides don’t try to use the media as a tool, and some sides are more successful at it. The MSM picks their favorite, and FoxNews and talk radio pick theirs. This time they weren’t one and the same. Politicians play the media, and YOU through the media. Even your beloved Queen Sarah plays. She just sucked at it. She thought the beauty contestant schtick would work. LOL.
And you’re just a dishonest phony who can’t accept the fact that your side didn’t play the game as well this time. You don’t care about the game. You just hate that the game didn’t go your way this time. You’re transparent.
Hey, I resemble that remark! By the way, I AM old enough to remember journatistic integrity. Oh, there were some way back in the old days who forgot what their role was. But for the most part, the motto was “No opinions on the news.” Integrity and honesty are no longer treasured in this country, thanks to the “progressives” who have pretty much crapped all over this beloved country of mine. And you, undresiege, are an arrogant, pompous jerk. Sorry for feeding the troll a bit, but it did insult me!
Wahhhhhhhhhhh.
I guess liberals think it’s OK to say that Trigg was not Sarah Palin’s son, but her daughter’s?
That kind of MEDIA MALPRACTICE is OK?????
To top that off, the liberal media can’t do the math either. Tripp was born in December, Sarah Palin gave birth in April. Figure it out idiots.
And TO THIS DAY, people like Bill Maher say Trig was Bristol’s baby. But since he’s been a perpetual single loser all his life, he wouldn’t really know anything about having a wife or a family for that matter.
This insult really has no effect, as it’s physically impossible for me to be a bugger. The arrogant part, well, all I can say is, it takes one to know one. Have a great evening.
Obama is an idiot who is painted as a genius. It isn’t just he 57 state thing:
- He didn’t know the difference between Veterans Day and Memorial Day. Can you imagine if George Bush or Sarah Palin had looked into an audience and talked about seeing some of the people we honor on Memorial Day?
- He said his uncle helped liberate Auschwitz. Ummm…that would be the Russians. Was his uncle in the Russian Army?
- He can’t say three words without saying ummm….errrr…ummmm.
He really is an empty suit. With no record of accomplishment whatsoever. Go up to someone who thinks he’s smart or accomplished and ask what he’s done or why they think he’s smart.
If asked for an accomplishment they’ll say “well he got elected Senator and then President.”
If asked what makes him smart they’ll say some version of “everybody says he is.” And by everybody, of course, they mean Couric, Williams, Olbermann, Gibson, Moyers, The View people, Hollywood dolts, etc., etc.
Barack Obama is a moron.
Rit
Wait until undreseige calls you a “female dog” like he did to me tonight, fl mom. It goes way beyond arrogance to call a woman that name. It speaks of a latent disrespect that he not only has for those women who blog on here but the hostess herself who has been the subject of such attacks.

“Untouchable?” You’re full of it.
Ronald Reagan won two landslide elections. Obama won, but his wasn’t close to being as dominant. Nevertheless, there was NEVER, EVER hero worship of Ronald Reagan even among conservatives the way there is of Obama. Reagan was viewed as a leader by those who loved him — to his fans, Obama is a demigod. I dare you to find a photograph of a Reagan fan that said something like “AFTER GOD, IT’S [OBAMA].”
What scares me most about this Obamamania is that people don’t even dare joke about him. Stop and ponder that. Think back at all the sacred cow-slaughtering satirists since the days of Lenny Bruce and Mort Sahl. None of them — not one — thought the President of the United States was off limits. Bill Maher, the atheist pissant who insults believers in general and conservative believers like George W. Bush in particular, was asked about the fact that Obama — whom he supported — refers to himself as a strong Christian. His response? “I can only hope he’s lying.”
What is transparent is your adoption of the leftist playbook: Magnify every flaw or mistake by a conservative, say that’s proof they’re not smart enough to lead, and then explain away or dismiss mistakes made by liberals as petty and insignificant. To wit: You earlier wrote:
Couric’s interview of Biden gave us his historical lesson about Franklin Roosevelt going on television to talk about the Great Depression before television was available to the public. Katie let that go unchallenged. And in case you aren’t aware, Couric sought advice on interviewing Palin from two people who weren’t fans: Democrat and Obama supporter Sam Nunn and Richard Haass, former President of the Council on Foreign Relations, who was on record as doubtful of Palin’s qualifications. That’s fair, right? (Don’t answer, it’s a rhetorical question.)
No MSMers gave a rat’s about foreign policy experience for the VP nominee before Palin. Charles Gibson’s questions for John Edwards in 2004 were strictly about campaign issues. Gibson invited Edwards to talk about how “mad” he was after the first night of the GOP convention … TWICE.
Gibson was Mr. Softie when it came to Obama after he won the Dem nomination. Contrast his questions in chronological order to Obama, and those he asked Palin in her first interview:
I’ve been a news junkie almost my entire life and cognizant of leftist bias for the entire second half of it. Not only have I never seen anything like the pro-Bama bias before in my life, I never — even in the MSM’s campaign against the Swift Boat Veterans in 2004 — would have thought this current level of slanted reporting possible.
It is common in sports for athletes and coaches to absolve the referees and umpires and line judges, etc. from blame when they lose. Most of the time, it is their own fault. But the truth is sometimes, the refs ARE crooked. And when they are, they should be called out, identified, and castigated. That’s what John Ziegler is doing, and I can’t wait for Media Malpractice to show up in my mailbox.
Dan Quayle would beg to differ with you over his gaffe with the word “potato”.
Dubya would beg to differ with you over his ‘mispronunciations’.
Both were repeatedly battered by equating their intelligence vis a vis gaffes. Meanwhile, the MSM chuckles once, as in “aw, ain’t that cute” and moves on, never to be mentioned again.
Like you said, it’s petty and dumb, but that’s what the Libtards do best, project their idiocy on others.
