You’re going to have to do better than Charles Krauthammer, although I get that you’re being coy since he’s attributed with having coined the term “Bush Derangement Syndrome”.

Many here have already commented on the fact that Obama can perform well when reading from a teleprompter. However, I doubt that Charles would say that Obama is in a “Reagan-esque” league when dealing with questions.

We have yet to see about Obama’s actions backing up his words as well. Perhaps he’ll get around to paying his own bills in the near future?

Ammo prices over the summer started going up. The reason was the wars and the cost of metals. Now our local gun dealer says the primers(which cannot be reproduced by self loaders) and the powder are becoming scarce. I think the administration is looking into how to stop gun onwership or pull the teeth of gun ownership. If there is no powder then guns are useless. He said he wouldn’t take away gun ownership.. BUT bullets is another story. I have stashed away enough for the 2nd revolution or wne ideologies clash intto violence or when ACORN comes and tries to take my house. The bit on making the interstates the same as national parks and the coding of ammo is all myth. The primer thing is real.

Somehow, I won’t be surprised if this results in the following boot-strapping exercise: our 30-year old F-15Cs, many of which are grounded after some of them began breaking apart in flight due to metal fatigue, are “weapons we don’t use” that we “need to get rid of.”

And they won’t be replaced by more F-22As or F-35As. Instead, we’ll be treated to an encore of what logistics officers and supply sergeants were saying through the Jimmy Carter “hollow military” years:

We don’t have it;
We can’t get it;
You don’t need it.

The Defense Department over the next 4 years of Hope-a-Dope is going to revert to what it has always been during donkey regimes:

1. A social experimentation playground; and
2. A piggy-bank for social programs.

After all, in the Era of Hopenchange, there’s no problem that we can’t talk our way out of, or that can’t be solved by America walking away….

This calls to mind what the party faithful in Berlin must’ve sounded like in 1945, looking wild-eyed and exclaiming “Germany vill vin ze var!!” after listening to some stem-winder broadcast from the Fuhrer Bunker.

It also reminds me of just how thoroughly dishonest the Japanese government and its state media were to the Japanese people during the same time frame — blowing smoke up their butts with such relentlessness that a lot of Japanese thought Japan was winning right up until the Emperor’s surrender speech.

So it’ll be with Ron Fournier on that sinking ship known as the SS Hopenchange. Singing “Obama, Obama, Uber Alles” right up to the moment when the waves close over him.

Yeah, I know this goes on with all presidents. But her timing was way off and motions so exagerrated it would make an excellent parody/sketch without even editing.

Agreed. There was something to the speed and early nature of her leaps that somehow lowered the decorum of the event. It might be nitpicking, but it seemed as though she turned an official address into a high school pep rally.

Let’s Recap–

3. The CIA Boss, Leon Panetta with absolutely no experience, has a daughter Linda we find out, who is a true radical anti-American activist and
a supporter of all the Anti-American regimes in the western hemisphere.

4. We got the most corrupt female in America as Secretary of State; bought and paid for.

5. We got a Tax Cheat for Treasury Secretary who files his own taxes.

6. A Commerce Secretary nominee who withdrew due to corruption charges.

7. A Tax cheat nominee for Chief Performance Officer who withdrew under charges.

8. A Labor Secy nominee who withdrew under charges of unethical conduct.

9. A Secy HHS nominee who withdrew under charges of cheating on his taxes.

And that’s just the first two weeks. . . but who’s counting.

America is being run by the modern-day Three Stooges ~ Barrack, Nancy , and Harry ~ and they are still trying to define stimulus.
