My favorite part of this is $5,000 for Crime Stoppers for Bee County Tx. There are 32,000 people in Bee County TX so if they raised the $$ themselves it would only be 16 cents a person.

WHY THE HELL AM I PAYING FOR CRIME STOPPERS IN BEE COUNTY TEXAS???????!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!

I’m really steamed to think that it probably cost the American people $10,000 to get that $5k to Texas.

They are not called earmarks anymore…from now on they will be listed as “intregal portions of the bill to keep America’s vital interests intact”.

You see, this comes from the group now known as “progressives”. They used to be called “liberals”. What “progressives” do is to change the name of something that has a overall negative connotation, thinking it will fool the American public (remember when “African-Americans” were known as blacks or colored or…).
So with “progressives”, you can count on a progressively changing vernacular to stay ahead of the negative imagery. Of course, this works often in America today.

Sorry madshark! Boy, am I embarrassed, or what! Of COURSE we are heading for Dow 6,000 or below! I have become so accustomed to seeing LOTS of zeroes after all these numbers, I made the wrong assumption you thought the Dow was going UP! Silly me. I'll read more carefully.

So the first obama budget is going to be 4 trillion dollars. Plues the 1.2 trillion already signed.

Thats 5.2 trillion BEFORE congress inserts its earmarks.

Thats half the public debt.
