The Joe Biden gaffe machine strikes again
Geez. I was just on Fox & Friends this morning recounting Bozo the VP’s “Recovery.gov” flub and joking that you never know what’s going to happen when you let Joe Biden out of his cage.
And now this… from KSLA:
Giving the republican response to President Obama’s speech Tuesday night, Governor Bobby Jindal pointed out fundamental differences in how republicans and democrats see the economy. “But what I don’t understand from Governor Jindal is what would he do?,” asks Joe Biden while on the Early Show.
And that rhetorical question to Governor Jindal on the Early Show, was followed with this. “in Louisiana there’s 400 people a day losing their jobs, what’s he doing?” asks Biden.
But that claim is wrong, if you look at the numbers from the Louisiana Workforce Commission. “In December, Louisiana was the only state in the nation besides the District of Columbia, according to the national press release that added employment over the month,” says Patty Granier with the Louisiana Workforce Commission. According to her, not only is Louisiana not losing jobs. “The state gained 3,700 jobs for the seasonally adjusted employment,” Granier said of the most recent figures.
You don’t even have to take my word for it, these are number you can check out yourself if you just go to laworks.net, there you can find the latest unemployment statistics, statistics that appear to directly contradict what the vice president said this morning.
Er, what’s that “website number,” Joe?

Listening to Hewitt’s show, the two smart young tech savvy people he has on (one is Mary Katherine Ham, whose name I remember because she is babelicious) noted that Obama’s pseudo-State of the Nation speech made him look good by comparison because behind him sat Stretch Pelosi and Sloe Joe Biden.
Maybe that is the plan, surround yourself with stupid people and look smart by comparison.
Once again, another liberal that just pulls “statistics” out of his @$$ to make an invalid point.

Supposed to be a sign of repentance, the beginning of the 40 days of Lent. As if Biden took Catholicism seriously. Not seriously enough to listen to the bishops, including the Bishop of Rome, on respect for unborn human life.

BTW, if Joe wants to sort of play Catholic, the Anglican Communion has its head cleric, the Archbishop Williams of Canterbury, who has no trouble with sharia becoming law in Britain, and the American bishops of the associated ECUSA have no problems with abortion, or ordaining gay clergy, and the ECUSA had no problem with the now retired Bishop of Newark, NJ, Bishop Spong, denying the divinity of Christ, the resurrection of the dead, or the virgin birth.
I sincerely wish all the cafeteria Catholics like Biden and the DWI Killer and Stretch Pelosi would just join the ECUSA, which is close enough to the Catholic church, without the hangups about following the Gospels or anything.
The more Biden talks, the more he appears as a driveling idiot.
Biden can say anything that comes to his mind, factual or not, and the MSM will cover for him.
Hopefully Governor Jindal will respond directly and very publicly to this lame rhetorical question. At some point, President Obama and V.P. Biden might realize that they actually have to stop campaigning. Jindal was rather clear in his support of the Republican amendment of the stimulus. There was plenty of “what would he do” there, but we can’t expect that Biden has actually read any of it, let alone the 1400+ page monstrosity that is the stimulus bill.
The facts show that what Gov. Jindal is doing is working for Louisiana, but the media will hide that as much as they can.
But hey, don’t mess with Joe. He’s in charge of this thing, but don’t ask him to remember the web number.
If no one calls your hand on untruths, misstatements, outright lies in some public forum that reaches the same audience that the misstatements reached to begin with, then the false statements prevail. There is nothing to lose, and everything to gain by making false and misleading statements. That’s where we find ourselves with the Dems and the media deception. It’s going to be a long four years!
Biden is safe through 2012, when Obama will annoint the next Messiah for 2016, by putting him/her/it on the ticket as VP.

Sorry but you are missing the bigger issue in Biden’s question. “What is he, as in the government, going to do?”
It is already assumed the solution is the government. There is no discussion about the premise. So if Jindal says, “We aren’t going to do anything because its not the government’s job to do so.” We as conservatives and Jindal as a politician appear heartless.
The best answer, “We will do nothing, get out of the way of business both big and small, and let the business community succeed and in doing so create jobs…”, that answer sounds wrong.
Conservativism had best start getting going on educating the public on its basic principles, why they are sound, provide freedom and prosperity and do so before we start trying to win elections.
Maybe we should start with Specter, Snowe and Collins as the first students?!

Gov. Jindal gave some specifics in the morning after show interview. There are going to be more. He is a whiz, unlike any in the Obama/Biden administration.
The Annointed One could easily get a repeal of the 22nd Amendment through both Houses of Congress with the required super-majorities, but would never get the 3/4s of the states needed to ratify.
Of course, if Obama gets to replace any one of the five non-Marxists on SCOTUS, he could probably declare some state of emergency (everything is a crisis anyway, which is why the Porkulus bill wasn’t posted on the interweb for a multi-day review as Obama claimed all legislation would be) and the SCOTUS would deny cert to anyone challenging suspension of elections.
He’ll take a lesson from Hugo. Keep having elections to change the constitution until the people vote the way they’re supposed to vote.
Joe Biden is like lgm. They both swoop down, give us a totally made up fact, and then fly away, refusing to be corrected.

It’s a wonder that no interviewer seems to ever challenge him on his a$$clownish statements.
It’s easy to explain. The people interviewing him are “journalists” – and it’s obvious they have nothing to challenge him with. To them, he’s a genius. To them he’s a role model. All form, no substance, immoral, make it up as you go, truth-be-damned.
No matter how many times Biden lies, many in the media will report those lies as facts.
Many newspapers, and now various TV news shows, continue to dwindle in viewership because the people ultimatly learn of these lies and turn their backs on them.
Will they change to honest reporting or will those failing propaganda machines receive government subsidies to continue?
As the federal government grabs control of the largest banks in the country, it may become very easy for that government to stealthly subsidize them.

I am reading a biography of Richard Nixon and am starting the part that addresses his terms as vice-president to Eisenhower. The difference between the intellect of Nixon and this buffoon is larger than the Grand Canyon. the book is called Nixon-A Life in Full. Its a long read, but outstanding!!! A very fair and detailed book. Not only have our schools been dumbed down, our politicians have too.

They tell a bold faced lie and then when they are challenged with the facts they just look the challenger right in the face and tell more lies. Joe Biden career highlights:
1) Caught stealing term paper at Syracuse law School. Gets suspended for a year.
2) Biden runs for president starting in 1987 and says he finished in the top half of his class at Syracuse Law School. In fact, he graduated in bottom 10 percent.
3) Biden steals not only speech from Neil Kinnock but also steals Kinnock biography. Biden lies and says he came from a family of coal miners and that his grandpa worked 16 hours a day in the coal mine and then came up and played 8 hours of football. Biden does not understand that Kinnock was talking about soccer.
4) Biden says “Stand up Chuck” to a man confined to a wheelchair.
5) Biden does not know the web address of his own web site. Then he refers to a URL as a “web number”.

The list just grows and grows. I am beginning to think that the only way any of this could possibly make sense is if we all just start dropping acid or. like Obama, just start smoking massive amounts of pot ans snorting shovels of cocaine.
