maybe obambi will put some of those 300 new irs agents he's hiring to audit democrat elected officials. seems he would reap a big payoff if this is any indication. then go get those new york, hollywood and miami liberals with swiss accounts, because everyone knows new york, miami, and los angeles are bastions of right wing tax cheats. i read the vast bulk of this first 250 released by ubs are primarily from those enclaves of conservatism.

Ron Kirk is a tax cheat. He never forgot anything. He just thinks he is better than anyone else. Don't be surprised if he uses the race card for his troubles. He was one of the worst mayors in the history of Dallas.

Umm... isn't this called

TAX EVASION?

There sure seem to be a lot of tax cheats among those democrats. Obama's tripping over them. If this were considered a random sample, the survey results might indicate 70% of elected Dems cheat on their taxes.

I think the tax code is completely political by an unguided design.
It probably started when "The Revanooers" found out they could use the tax code against gangsters and whiskey runners better than regular police work.
This overly bloated tax code contains so many regulations that it gives the IRS the ammo so that they can pick and choose who they want to slam.
I really enjoy seeing the Obama crowd get back what has been going on for years.
It does highlight something that a meaningful change to would be a good thing.
It also exposes the unwritten perks of higher office to what it is. Double standard.

The fair tax anyone!

The Obama administration and the IRS obviously have a "progressive scale" when it comes to unpaid taxes or under reported income.

If this rocket scientist former mayor failed to pay nearly $10,000 in taxes that means he failed to report $35,000 or $40,000 in income over those three years.

The IRS hounds me when THEY make a mistake processing my tax forms! How does the IRS instantly figure out there is a mistake on MY tax return yet all these rich leftists get away with these gross violations for years!

Wanna bet he would never have "discovered" these "minor problems" had he not been annointed by Obamessiah? Kind of makes me wonder whose tax problems the IRS is ignoring. There must be a special office for this down on 1111 Constitution Avenue. Maybe that's what the IRS Taxpayer Assistance Centers are there for...

DEMOCRATIC orruption doesn't bother me in the least. It is Democrats that bothers me.
'Orruption-corruption, whatever, they are still Democrats. The Party of the Big Tent as in Maxine-Socialist Supreme-Race Monger Delux-Waters and KKK Klansman Robert Byrd. What a pair.

Only six more weeks and we all get to prove our patriotism to VP Biden and write that check to the IRS. Feel the Luv. Can Kalifornians write off the tax refund they don't get from the state? How about Kansas?

Since WHEN can you deduct season tickets to ball games? </blockquote>

I once had a professor who was a tax accountant. That person wrote off their season tickets because they and their spouse would take their clients to games and then "talk business".

<blockquote>deducted too much for …tax preparation fees</blockquote>

hmm, I need to go back and check my 1040's. I thought my accountant said that deduction didnt exist anymore.

A "goof" is a mistake with an equal chance of erroneously inflating or decreasing the person's tax liability. I balance my checkbook each month looking for "goofs." Sometimes those "goofs" show my account as having too much and sometimes as having too little. One would expect some "goofs" on tax returns to result in tax refunds. And yet, Democrat tax "goofs" <strong>always</strong> go one direction.

Funny, that.

If Bush was cutting taxes only for the evil rich then why did these people feel the need to pay even less. According to the left, they were already getting an unfair break on their share, shouldn't they have felt compelled to at least pay what they owed? How could the left support these nominees who abused their tax-cut privileges while poorer people are losing their homes?
