Obama’s sorry cultists

By Michelle Malkin  •  March 3, 2009 10:22 AM

I’ve reminded you before of NYTimes’ columnist David Brooks’ boneheaded Ivy League ejaculations about the Obama administration.

Now, the once-enamored Kool-Aid drinker admits his cult leader is not the man he knew:

“Those of us who consider ourselves moderates are forced to confront the reality that Barack Obama is not who we thought he was.”

What an unbelievable waste of time and real estate is David Brooks. It’s profane.

Which is why Robert Stacy McCain’s expletive-filled smackdown is the only appropriate and satisfying response.

On a related note, remember the “Sorry Everybody” campaign of leftists apologizing to the world for George Bush?

Doug Powers has launched the perfect spoof on behalf of pathetic Obama supporters suffering buyers’ remorse everywhere. A sample:

I told Doug he needs to add a sorry David Brooks’ photoshop. Volunteers?

Right on point and worth repeating.

If as I suspect we are seeing in the arrogant stupidity of the Hope-a-Dope administration the seeds of this country’s undoing being planted, I have to step back and ask myself who is worse:

    - The man planting the seeds; or
    - Those who handed him the seeds.

Anyone who honestly believed thet “The Candyman” was going to magically make everything better must also believe in the Tooth Fairy, Santa Claus and the Easter Bunny. We deny little children the Franchise for a reason, the same reason why these people should be denied it.

And anyone who didn’t believe the hype yet voted for The Man on Unicorn anyway deserves to be flogged, for their cynicism and selfishness will cost all of us and our descendants dearly for the rest of this century.

I spent some time over the past week trying to get through the dorky, awkward persona he showed last Tuesday and have come to the conclusion that there is real fire in his belly. A mistake, China is a vast nation with massive military power to call on, asking them to help, well be seen as an invite to take the region.

Next we are hell bent on making a two State resolution to the Isreali problem. We will be open to “suggestions” from Moscow on the Missile Defense and regional afiars. Russia Wants that land back. Not to be our friends. Russia was treated baddly with the fall of the USSR and that haterd is in the hearts of the people, they want vengance.

The 2008 election did not happen in a vaccuum. This is a democracy and we’re all in this together. We all need to be mature enough to accept our portion of responsibility for what happens to our country, for good or bad. I can accept that Clinton’s narcissism and abuses of his office set the stage for Bush’s election. Are you all mature enough to accept responsibility for the actions of your team as well? Until you do, don’t expect anyone to take you seriously.

Reminds me of that clip of Tom Brokaw and another commentator going back and forth about how they don’t know who Obama really is…etc. It was funny and very very sad all at the same time. Yeah, a lot of “buyer’s remorse” going around. This from a “journalist” who didn’t have the balls to actually investigate the man who would be President of the United States. Past associates and friends? No big deal. Not important. “Rev.” Wright’s black liberation church for 20 years? Well, everyone knows Obama didn’t hear the awful rhetoric coming from that man’s mouth. Must have been the sermons that Obama happened to miss. Birth certificate? Well, he showed us a “certified” copy. Good enough. Socialism comments? His admission that he used Saul Alinsky as his model? Oh, that was in the past. Chicago thug political machine? Obama cut his teeth on those kinds of politics, but he has changed. He isn’t like that any more. I have heard it all from these idiots. And NOW they are saying, “Barack Obama is not who we thought he was.” Oh Lord, I think I am going to be sick.
