Coverage from USN&WR. A commenter left this message:

Ms. Marquandt’s characterization of people who are against legalized plunder by the government as “anti-stimulus” is simply anti-factual. If she’s referring to people being against a massive, pork-laden indebting of our grandchildren, she can hardly be referring to a “stimulus”, can she? Given the stock market’s response?

The scope of the industrial nationalizations, the kneecapping of the productive class, the sanctification of the responsibility-free, and the spectacular lack of ethics of the administration’s nominees—well, what more can one say? The Obamas are simply cocktail-partying and conga-lining while America burns. And throwing in a good dis’ of our old pals the Brits while they’re at it. I’m in awe.

    Not only are B. Hussein Obama and the rest of the socialists, statists, collectivists, elitists, fascists, etc a national, and likely international, danger;
if it is true that Obama gratuitously insulted the Brits (even though Brown is Labor (Oops!, sorry… Labour) – socialist – Obama and his gang are proving themselves to also be a national and international embarrassment.

It would have been better to have said graciously “Thank you,” and given nothing in return for the moment.

    Obama Nation = T.E.A.
    Total Economic Abomination
    Total Economic Anihilation

Obama sees both the U.S.A and the U.K. as “Empires“, and as the grandson of a Kenyan who was not treated very well by the British Empire, he is very happy to see both the British and American “Empires” brought to their knees.

With Marxism-Leninism guiding our actions, the Communist Party strives to build the broadest unity against global capitalist imperialism now headed by U.S. imperialism

But my journey is part of a larger journey – one shared by all who’ve ever sought to apply the values of their faith to our society. It’s a journey that takes us back to our nation’s founding, when none other than a UCC church inspired the Boston Tea Party and helped bring an Empire to its knees.

    - Barack Hussein Obama
    June 23, 2007

“When Barack Obama Jr. was born on Aug. 4,1961, in Honolulu, Kenya was a British colony, still part of the United Kingdom’s dwindling empire. As a Kenyan native, Barack Obama Sr. was a British subject whose citizenship status was governed by The British Nationality Act of 1948. That same act governed the status of Obama Sr.‘s children.

    - Obama’s “Fight The Smears” entry about his birth
Which, by the way, shows a forged CertificatION of Live Birth,
not an authentic, original CertificatE of Live Birth.

Obama’s own web site lied and called this forged CertificatION (which was neither released by, nor ever verified by, the State of Hawaii) Obama’s “Official Birth CertificatE“.

    Yes, that is truthful.

Racism didn’t hurt Obama’s campaign. Quite to the contrary, using racism in his favor was a major part of his campaign.

Most of his supporters cared more about the color of his skin than the content of his character. How many of his supporters truly support infanticide? Hopefully not many. But millions of people who do not support infanticide chose to support a candidate who does. Why? Because they cared more about the color of his skin than the content of his character.

Almost a year ago (March 19, 2008) it was clear to me that Obama was using racism in order to form a more Socialist union…
