Obama: I’m not a socialist, I just play one on TV
Comedy gold to kick off a new week of market turmoil and Treasury Department incompetence: Barack Obama phoned up the New York Times to clarify, uh, that he’s not really a socialist because an unnamed former administration (here, Barry, let me help you: Bush the pre-socializer) poured billions of tax dollars into failing business, so, uh, he didn’t start it. He’s not a socialist. He just plays one on TV.
Behold the role model of personal responsibility:
President Obama was so concerned that he had appeared to dismiss a question from New York Times reporters about whether he was a socialist that he called the newspaper from the Oval Office to clarify his policies.
“It was hard for me to believe that you were entirely serious about that socialist question,” he told reporters, who had interviewed the president aboard Air Force One on Friday.
Opening the unusual presidential call to reporters by saying that there was “just one thing I was thinking about as I was getting on the copter,” he said it wasn’t he who started the federal government’s intervention into the nation’s financial system.
“I did think it might be useful to point out that it wasn’t under me that we started buying a bunch of shares of banks. It wasn’t on my watch. And it wasn’t on my watch that we passed a massive new entitlement -– the prescription drug plan — without a source of funding. And so I think it’s important just to note when you start hearing folks throw these words around that we’ve actually been operating in a way that has been entirely consistent with free-market principles and that some of the same folks who are throwing the word ’socialist’ around can’t say the same.”
Translation: We didn’t start the fire, therefore dumping more gasoline on it is not socialism.

Most of you have confused socialism with communism. In socialist countries the people pay high taxes – in America we pay higher taxes, the big difference is that we can’t use the services.
People pay local taxes, state taxes, federal taxes, gas taxes, sales taxes, propery taxes, etc…
Then we also have to pay for private medical care, private school for our children – so on top of all of the taxes we pay, we have to pay for the services they are suppose to provide.
Yes – Jesus was a socialist – he saw a greater responsibility to all of the Lords children, the implimentation of this responsibility is through socialistic programs – not cut throat capitalism.

He has an amazing way of using a vast amount of words in order to say absolutely NOTHING!
Now, did he DENY being a Socialist? When asked, did he give a simple one word answer?
All it would have taken was a simple, “No”. But he did not do that. Why? Because he is a Socialist, and he does not want the outright denial to come back and bite him later.
He has a long track record of doing this. He did it concerning Rev. Wright. He did it concerning his aunt. He did it concerning his supposed favorite grandmother.
He has also done it concerning the very important question about whether or not he is even legally eligible to hold the office of the President of the United States. Even that worthless piece of fish-wrap he put up on his website called “Certificate of Live Birth” that means absolutely nothing is nothing more than him not giving a simple answer.
Yet all his apologizers and worshippers keep giving him a pass. The MSM keeps allowing him to skate by on all of this nonsense.
This is all just a game to him and his people. This is some sort of game where they are trying to see just how much they can get away with. It is amature night in Washington, and they are making this country and it’s form of government into the largest laughing stock in modern times. Other nations are laughing at us, mocking us, and knowing that there is not a single adult at the helm.
Look at what N. Korea, Iran, and the other bullies have been doing for the last two weeks. Why? Because they know damn well that there is not a single thing that these children will do to stop them.
Yup, once again I say congrats to all of you who allowed this fool to become elected, either by action or inaction. The fun is just beginning and God help us all if we are able to get through it in one piece.
You still don’t get it, do you? It’s called FREEDOM. You won’t realise how much it means until Obama succeeds in taking it away. At that time, I won’t even say “I told you so” because I will be too hearbroken and too depressed to bother.

He also seems to think we pay more money in taxes than the Socialist countries. See…the thing about Liberals is that they will believe anything their masters feed them and never feel that they need to look into it and find out the truth for themselves.
If Kos, DU or HuffPo were to tell them that the moon was made of green cheese, they would try to get a Government bureaucracy started in order to mine it to feed the homeless.

Oh, and once again, the Liberal tactic of “Was Jesus a such and such? Would Jesus have blah, blah, blah”. This is one of the tactics they throw out when they have absolutely no foot to stand on in an argument and cannot even support their own beliefs. It is meant to try and throw us off, to bring in religion as only their circular logic can cope. It is a backwards way of insulting a Christians beliefs, when the person asking it does not even believe in Jesus or God in general.
I, and most other Christians, would not be so arrogant as to try and assume to know what Jesus would think and feel. What we go on is what his words and actions were. If you actually have read the bible, let alone attend church, you would know exactly what Christ said concerning taxes, but instead all you have done is, yet again, demonstrate exactly how immature ignorant, and hateful you are.
It is such a pity when these guys get booted off the Liberal sites for being too stupid and immature, which considering the source, is saying a lot, and then feel they need to come here are spout their immature BS. Just goes to show you what happens when children have nothing to do once school gets out.

Obama wants to place the blame on Bush for the full $700 Billion in TARP funds, but it was OBAMA who pushed for the second half of that money to be released.

Bush played the role of “useful idiot” and requested the money for Obama’s use, while Obama went on to blame Bush for it.
