Octo-mom gets a new house

By Michelle Malkin  •  March 9, 2009 09:02 PM

She’s still jobless and husband-less with 14 kids. On welfare. Splurging on video games. Moving out of a home owned by her mom, who’s $20,000 behind on mortgage payments.

And moving in to a half-million-dollar southern California home arranged for by dad and reportedly paid for with the cash she’s been raking in from her Octo-mom notoriety.

Only in America, via TMZ:

We’ve learned her dad is the purchaser of the 2,583 square-foot house for Octo. It’s located in La Habra, near where OctoGrandma lives now. It has four bedrooms and three bathrooms, a large master bedroom with a walk-in closet and a large backyard. It’s listed for $564,900. The buyer apparently paid near asking price.

It’s listed by Mike Patel of Prudential Realty in Anaheim Hills in the O.C. We’re told the deal was just inked and it will close on Friday. Sources also say the “substantial down payment” came from money that OctoMom has been scoring over the last few weeks. As one source put it, “the money has been coming from all over the place — $15,000 here, $25,000 there.” We’re told the seller is financing the deal.

We’re told Octo will either move in over the weekend or early next week.

I know I’m not the only one with the sick feeling that taxpayers will be on the hook for this financial basket case sooner rather than later.

I thought in order to get welfare, you can’t have more than $2000 in the bank.

Big back yard? I doubt that. I lived right next to La Habra for 5 years…
there’s no such thing as a big back yard. ANY yard, is a big backyard. Had she moved 5 miles further west, she likely could’ve found an older home that could’ve reached 3000sf. She’s going to need every foot there is.

We have always had such little whores, xy chromosomed donors (as in not much in the way of real men) to spawn pitiful prisoners of the little whores, the counter culture, the nihilist.

If any of those 14 precious prisoners of nihilism survive to adulthood I would guess drugs, prison and welfare dependency are their lot.

the sick feeling that taxpayers will be on the hook for this financial basket case sooner rather than later.

In this particular case I would guess many millions over the years. There was a time such behavior was shunned-now it is embraced, paid for and encouraged. We are told she loves her babies; Narcissism leaves no room for the love of others.

This Love Child Boom of the last 40 years has been good for one industry-prison construction. We are told drugs are the big reason but I think that is but a symptom-a means to cope with having such a slu_t for a mother and “who’s your daddy xy chromosomed donor” for a father.

If you can and if you will pray for those 14 precious prisoners of nihilism-all of Bill Gates money coupled with Steve Forbes could not buy them hope from their mother’s narcissism; that kind of selfishness always destroys. What little I read about her “dad” I guess Octo-mom was to be expected. It is generational this sinful (judgmental word, I know) narcissism. Ba’al, the god of fertility, is also the god of child sacrifice and seems to have a large cult following here, catch their dance around the Asherah pole, check your local listings.

I would personally donate one box of ammunition to any firing squad they put in place if they promise to actually use the Death Penalty, and do away with the endless number of appeals which allows the guilty to die of old age long before their sentence can be carried out.

Three appeals and that’s it. The first one is automatic. After that you have two left…you better make them good ones. Following the end of the third one, sentence is carried out within 24 hours.

While I do not ascribe to the theory that the Death Penalty is meant to be a deterrent, I do believe that if they actually began to carry it out, it might actually have that chance.

However, the Death Penalty is just that…a PENALTY. In fact it is the ULTIMATE PENALTY and nothing more.

It is for the worst of the worst, when that evil needs to be permanently removed from the gene pool. Life in prison without parole is a harsh sentence, but that person still has the rest of his life in which he can continue his life of crime, including continuing to murder. Death, however, is permanent and the absolute only way in which anyone can guarantee that the criminal will never, ever harm another person ever again.

I have actually sat on a Capital Offense Jury. I actually came face to face with my convictions, so I speak from experience. Let me tell you, until you are actually placed in that position and forced face to face with those convictions, you truly do not know how you will feel. I was able to go home when it was finished and live with my choice. Thank God.

Here’s hoping that’s the case, because she doesn’t seem capable of handling 14 children, let alone the 6 she already has.

I have always been a staunch defender of large families, provided the family is an actual family – mother, father married, etc. – and can care for itself, even simply (not all 10 kids need their own bedrooms, ya know, nor designer clothes).

She meets neither of these criteria.

The children should go to families who can’t have their own or are willing to adopt – it’s better for all concerned.

As others have remarked, this house is not even big enough for her and the kids. If she takes the master bedroom, that leaves 5 kids in two bedrooms and 4 in the other. She’d have to take all eight babies into the master bedroom to put two kids in every other bedroom.

Look how tiny the living areas are. Where is she going to feed them? Did she thing of forgoing the brick and landscaping on the outside and marble on the inside and then maybe buying a larger house for the money? Maybe moving to someplace where she could get far more house for the money?

    Bruce,

While Vargas basically hit it right on the head…and BobK’s comment was seriously hillarious…

your post drips with whats wrong with people, i think, today.

It’s not pathetic to wish this woman wasn’t “needy” in the first place. Her needs are based on the fact that she has acted in an irresponsible fashion with complete disregard for the well being of the 6 children she had before hatching this latest brood. She is needy, because she generated a situation that was -completely- avoidable, when she was already in a bad situation to begin with, and showed absolute disregard for anything resembling common sense.

The rest of your mocking really falls flat. She chose to make her life the reality show it already is, some say possibly by design, and is making a profit from it. She is mocked for making the absolutely abysmal choices she’s made in relation to her family, and anyone with more than an ounce of common sense sees that something is clearly wrong with this woman. At best, she’s at fault for displaying poor judgment and disregarding good reason as having been presented by her mom. At worst, this woman is a nutcase, and someone who has used public funds to simply make more children that will generate even more money for her from the taxpayers…and her kids should be removed from what (based on the 911 tapes, and her own REALLY screwed up and crazy answers to questions) is a questionable environment in regards to the safety and welfare of the children involved.

We’re not talking about someone who has lost their job, healthcare, and home that has a few children and was struggling to make it. We’re talking about a woman that clearly isn’t in the position she finds herself by some chance of fate, or some stroke of bad luck. She very purposely went to the fertility clinic -repeatedly- to have this done. This is a situation of her own creation, her own design, and John and Jane Taxpayer are having to fit the bill for this woman’s clear and blantant mental instability.

    So, when you say…

and watch them as the social injustice that had put them in such a position slowly claims their health, and their lives?

I’d like to see what you mean by “social injustice”. Do you even understand the words you’re putting on the screen here? How is saying that this woman should have thought better about having MORE children, when she had SIX at home she COULDNT take care of to begin with, is some sort of “social injustice”? You’re using a term, out of context, in order to drum up sympathy for someone who clearly does not deserve it. I reserve sympathy for people who do not go out of their way to create a huge hot mess like this woman has done to herself.

In closing…its not greed, or lack of empathy, or any of the other items you listed that drives people like myself. Most of the comments here have been pretty basic, and follow the same line of reasoning…that this woman should have thought about what she was doing first, before boarding the Crazy Train to Welfare Town and taking us along for the ride. I absolutely agree that these children, who are not responsible for their situation, should absolutely be loved and protected like every other child. My empathy, sympathy, and thoughts are of the well being of the children involved (minus the fact i’m not pitching some leftist agenda!). No one here wishes the children involved ill, or harm, and absolutely wish THEM the best.

But your knee-jerk emotional response only justifies why it is people like this woman are allowed to flourish. Because when they make stupid, uninformed, irrational, misguided, destructive, insert next adjective or even possible adverb here mistake……you coddle them, tell them “it’ll be ok”, and just write a check and let them go about their way. You dont seek to understand, or fix, the problem at hand, which was this woman’s clear and utter lack of common (or any other kind of) sense whatsover. You dont concern yourself with anything other than how you “feel”, or whatever other force drives you. You seem less interested in being practical, and more interested in “feeling” good about what she’s done. You’re not interested that taxpayers are fitting the bill for this woman to mass produce children, at a time when others are being evicted from their homes and living on the street. In cases, good and honest people who got hammered by the economy crapfest going on right now, and that genuinely could use a hand up right now. Those funds went to Nadya, who chose to produce more kids for her own jacked up and selfish reasons. Way to support your tax dollars for responsible uses, Bruce, in a state that clearly cannot afford it as things stand now. And way to show support for being irresponsible and frivolous..because that way, she’s doing what she wants, and that makes you “feel” good.

Only in this case, her doing what she wants obviously has drastic, and longer reaching, implications that your “social injustice” could possibly imagine. The only injustice here is the one being done to children who are innocent, and are being brought into a broken family situation with no father figures involved and a rather deranged and questionable mother. If you want to talk about injustice…start there.

Here’s a perfect example of what’s wrong with America. A simple minded fool with six children she can’t support then goes and finds a doctor who has no problem violating all of California’s invitro fertilization ethics guidelines and artificially gets herself knocked up with 8 more children she can’t support with the full knowledge that she’d be getting herself splattered all over the headlines and end up sucking off the public teat for the rest of her frelling life because she’s too damn stupid to lead a life she can support on her own with the few neurons firing inside that unused brain case…

She survives not due to her abilities and strengthens, she survives due to liberal policies designed to support parasites. If all you “compassionate conservatives” don’t like it because it is harsh, to freaking bad. She is a waste of resources and air. Take a good look around society today and you will find it is the least intelligent, and those that barely get by without the generosity of taxpayers, that reproduce the most. Not the best and fittest.

Now you’re onto something… let’s just exterminate all people you think are stupid. Better yet, let’s just terminate all the Obama voters. If we get rid of all the people that need mercy, compassion, tolerance, and a fair chance at life, then you wouldn’t appear so callous, insensitive, cruel, and judgmental. Maybe then you wouldn’t have to recognize your void of human decency either. Hey, it’ll be great! No one will need to care about anyone or anything beyond themselves… that is until someone decides that YOU aren’t worth the air you breath and/or the resources you use are disproportionate to what you are worth…. then I think your tune will change.

I have yet to see one person here (besides me) that is glad to see that this woman’s situation is improving. Not ONE! You people are a shame and a disgrace. Your hatred has set you apart from the human race.

HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAH!! Gee, who would have thought some liberal useless moron comes to defend another uselss liberal moron. I have no problem telling you how I feel. I don’t give a rip what happens to this idiot. If she improves her lot in life, well bully for her. I don’t wish her ill will, but I also don’t want to pay for her stupidity. I didn’t tell or encourage her to go have invitro and have 8 more freaking children she can’t afford. And I resent bleeding heart jerks like you thinking I should pay for her stupidity. Screw that. Got it? Have as many children as you want but don’t come crying to me when you can’t care for them. THEY ARE NOT MY PROBLEM. Is that just to “offensive” or “mean” for your bleeding heart? Too bad. Finally, nice to see how you don’t address or refute anything I said. Rather, in typical liberal form, you go off on a tangent about euthanasia and general human compassion. Now defend this idiots actions which is the point and stop seting up strawmen.

I believe the shame and disgrace started in your first post.

Is it good this woman is getting help with the children….of course.

But you clearly -dodged- the issue that placed her in this situation to begin with…and by doing so, justified everything I claimed about you earlier.

Aside from the fact that you simply just don’t get it, your argument is precisely the reasoning liberal abortion enthusiasts use to justify what they do.

    Interesting.

No qualifying needed, as it appears the seller is carrying the contract. His loss if she can’t make the payments. Only in California.
