When did Bush or the RNC take Soros’ words out of context for political gain? GOPers writing about Soros' activities in memos and pointing it out on the party's website, is not the same as the Dem leadership anointing Limbaugh as the leader/face of the GOP, or attacking him with a billboard in his neighborhood. This is gutter politics of the lowest kind. Our system makes "we the people" share in the power of "the government." You donated to Obama’s campaign. That party members are not objecting loudly shows why it continues.

There’s the whole quote Chap, with the pertinent part highlighted. CLEARLY he was speaking of the BILLBOARD which is the subject of this post. Nice diversion to only quote the part that can excuse your response. Lame, very lame and very hypocritical of you.

Don't be stupid, Joy. First of all, this is not the government. This is a political party. And second, you are trying to argue that the specific technique the respective parties used to attack the private citizen makes that much difference? Please. The RNC has attacked Soros. No they didn't do it through a billboard but they did do it.

Lastly, perhaps you should learn the meaning of hypocritical, because I have clearly stated I have zero problem with either situation. That term could seem to be thrown at you, however, who is trying to glom onto superficial differences to excuse the RNC's behavior in light of your condemnation of the DNC's.

I don't believe they selected any that were e-mailed in - - I'm sure the White House made that decision....since they instigated this whole ridiculous comedy of errors.

It is very disappointing to see the leader of this country participate in such trivial things when the country is being torn apart by what is happening in the world and right here in our own government. I would hope that a man elected to the office of President would have more intelligence and class and better things to do than attack someone who is exercising his right to free speech. But it appears not.

Does anyone else find this extremely disturbing, that a national organization designed to get Democrats elected, and which includes elected Democrats, is going after a private citizen? Is this not exactly what the 1st Amendment portion regarding Free Speech was about, that government cannot act in reprisal against private citizens who criticize them? Where’s the ACLU? Imagine if this was Bush and/or the RNC doing this: the outrage from the ACLU, the MSM, Democrats, the left-o-sphere would be at Category 5 hurricane status.

I concur. I think it was very mean spirited and spiteful for several million blacks in the post-Civil War years to hope and pray the KKK would fail...

I've been to West Palm Beach, Florida. It is not a nice town. I was confused because I had heard how nice Palm Beach was, then I crossed the bridge and figured it out. Palm Beach is very nice, the West side not so much. The election is over, I doubt West Palm Beachers are going to even take notice. Does I-95 go through there? If it is on 95, then it would depend on wether it is north or south side. People heading north will be overwhelmed with the tourist trap South of the Border billboards anyway. If they are heading south to Miami, they probably barely speak English. Oh well, Democrat ideas have never made much sense to me anyway. When I first read it, it sounded to me like it is a billboard telling Obama to stop failing.

Maybe that was the only submission that wasn't grammaticly incorrect, misspelled, or profane.

I expected that "RUCK FUSH" would win.

How much is it going to cost these idiots to put this billboard up? That kind of thing isn't cheap. I'm sure they'll find a way to get the taxpayers to foot the bill.

Someone please photoshop this.
- Replace the cigar with Obama’s cigarette.
- Tint the skin Kenyan White
Now it’s appropriate.

You forgot one thing: You gotta put a basketball in the picture somewhere.

I can tell what the intent of the billboard is, but only because I've been reading articles about the whole thing online.

If I had not heard about all this, and just drove by, I'd have no idea what that billboard was trying to say.
