When did Bush order an attack on Soros and send out his chief of staff to get the ball rolling? When did Bush or the RNC take Soros’ words out of context for political gain? GOPers writing about Soros’ activities in memos and pointing it out on the party’s website, is not the same as the Dem leadership anointing Limbaugh as the leader/face of the GOP, or attacking him with a billboard in his neighborhood. Don’t be stupid, Joy. First of all, this is not the government. This is a political party. And second, you are trying to argue that the specific technique the respective parties used to attack the private citizen makes that much difference? Please. The RNC has attacked Soros. No they didn’t do it through a billboard but they did do it.

Lastly, perhaps you should learn the meaning of hypocritical, because I have clearly stated I have zero problem with either situation. That term could seem to be thrown at you, however, who is trying to glom onto superficial differences to excuse the RNC’s behavior in light of your condemnation of the DNC’s.

Oh my God – - you’re absolutely right frontierguy. This billboard could be used by Republicans …. and put just about anywhere!!!!!!

It is very disappointing to see the leader of this country participate in such trivial things when the country is being torn apart by what is happening in the world and right here in our own government. I would hope that a man elected to the office of President would have more intelligence and class and better things to do than attack someone who is exercising his right to free speech. But it appears not.

Does anyone else find this extremely disturbing, that a national organization designed to get Democrats elected, and which includes elected Democrats, is going after a private citizen? Is this not exactly what the 1st Amendment portion regarding Free Speech was about, that government cannot act in reprisal against private citizens who criticize them? Where’s the ACLU? Imagine if this was Bush and/or the RNC doing this: the outrage from the ACLU, the MSM, Democrats, the left-o-sphere would be at Category 5 hurricane status.
