From http://www.flyprivate.com/pricing.html

A Gulfstream 5 is categorized as a "Heavy Jet", and the Domestic Pricing Guidelines (Best Positioned) show Round-Trip pricing guidelines of $5,350. per hour. Assume a round trip is a minimum of 10 hours, or $53,500 per round trip.

The guideline prices listed above are an estimate for domestic transportation. It does not include a 7.5% Federal Excise Tax, and does not include, where applicable, a per passenger facility charge of up to $18.00 per round-trip, a September 11 Security Fee of $2.50 per passenger enplanement, and a per flight segment tax of $3.20 per passenger. For international transportation (including Mexican and Canadian transborder operations), please contact Private Business Jets for a separate price quotation.

Additional Flight Services and Fees:

Crew Overnight Fee $1000/night
Flight Attendant Standard on Heavy Jets (otherwise case by case)
Fuel Surcharge Guidelines (If required, may vary by region and category
Catering Special Services (beyond standard complimentary)
Phone Billed at cost by carrier operator
Signature Landing Fees $500/landing
International Fees Costs vary, can be quoted

But it appears that Pelosi is only required to pay the equivalent of commercial coach fare (probably on the order of $500 - $1,000 round trip) when her family travels in executive jet style.

I flew as a passenger in a C-5A in 1985 between Cubi Point NAS, RP and Diego Garcia, British Indian Ocean Territory.

Passenger compartment, seats about 60-ish people in rear facing seats larger than modern coach airline seats, no windows, bring a book. An Air Force tech sergeant served inflight Swanson TV dinners.

BTW, not a whole lot to do in Diego Garcia, but the USAF had liquor stores (category Six, IIRC) that sold beer on most excellent discount, there were beaches and a pool, and the work details cut loose for the day at lunch time because of the heat.

Time to burn the eyes out of your head.

Imagine that the photoshop artist had used Sports Illustrated plane as his archetype.

And then after Nancy, he made a second one for Hillary.

unless they've improved the C-5 aircraft she definitely wouldn't use one of them, they are way too cold and far too noisy...I know I flew in them in the military from Okinawa back to the states...you didn't put your feet on the floor because they'd freeze....the box lunches were good though...lol

Errah, hell that's scarier than the flying tiger graphic on a P-40E. This would truely strike fear into the hearts of our enemies if it was put on all fighter aircraft. The only problem with putting her mug on Air Force planes is the cost to the pentagon for botox injections to keep the planes noses up off the runnways. I think I just heard betty grable rolling over . . . .

I think in the quote "codel" is shorthand for "Congressional Delegation."

I wonder if Judicial Watch is looking into such reimbursements? It is a rather logical next step to their inquiries. I suspect htey will be met with "national security" issues if there is something there. I don't think FOIA will get past a "national security" response.
