Tea Party update: Revolution is brewing
Eric Odom reports that there are now 115 cities signed up for the April 15 nationwide Tax Day Tea Party protest. Wow. If you haven’t signed up, want to start your own, and are looking to meet up and organize with other tax revolters, go to Tax Day Tea Party’s website here.

(On a parallel track, fellow Fox News colleague Glenn Beck has spearheaded “We Surround Them” parties scheduled across the country today. I’m hearing from lots of first-time activists who have found overlapping networks. The same principles that unite the “We Surround Them” effort also are in sync with the tax revolters. Synergy is good. We need every body and mind in motion we can get.)

To those who find a thought process that includes the possibility of another revolution as jack booted and ultra right wing, I would only refer you to eagle has landed’s comments. This country was founded by our Fathers in Judeo Christian ethic, with Judeo Christian based laws and morals. Yes, there is a concern for those in a minority ilk, but the minority will never take over. They aren’t supposed to. No one wants armed change, but it is within the purview of the Constitution to consider it.
We who advocate a return to what was intended and had existed aren’t racist, homophobic rabble, as some of you seem to wish us to be. We will , however, protect what we have and what this country was supposed to be and was. You who will respond with ” Oh, you want racism and sexism back?” I say to you, “Oh shut up!” that comment is so retarded.

Finally, as for Waco, my only point was it is an entirely different scenario. In any case, without getting into the particulars; I don’t support ousting a religious group just for being a religious group.

Michelle sometimes mentions it, other than that, all of a sudden it smells sweeter around here for a while.
Few disagree with that but it is a big leap to go straight from complacency to armed revolt. I’m an ardent gun owner myself and acutely aware of the criminal element prowling our streets but I am far from resorting to armed insurrection. It is not why I own guns.
If people are finally upset enough to leave their comfy sofas to do something, let’s exhaust the democratic avenues first and not make a beeline to armaggedon.
From what I can see here on this forum, there are those who are going to do something about our governmental problem, there are those who are only willing to lecture those others, and then there are those who intend on being in the way.
I back the ones who will do what it takes against all others.

I have to agree with zero here. I really really don’t WANT to agree with him, but in this case, I have to. Hopefully, the suggestion of violence was just letting off steam. At this point in time, violence is not needed. However, there may come a time when it WILL be needed. Now is not that time, and if it comes, it will be very very bad! Let’s pray it won’t come to that.

I understand your point … but I will say this:
I learned through my experience in combat that I am to assess my enemy completely and understand it’s ability. I then assess my capabilities and options, develop them all and have them at the ready so I will not be found lacking in any area. This is what I advise all to do. Does this mean insurrection at the get go… of course not.
Would that we could logically and rationally stop the hegemony that is the left’s socialistic Marxist march. But, I will be ready, I have a duty to be for our sake.

my brother’s wife and i had a discourse regarding this stuff just prior to nov 4, and her retort was that we should divide the u.s. into blue and red countries. she felt the blue would have all the money, colleges, and smart people, and i reminded her the red would have all the food, oil, coal, and workers. she also didn’t think that the red states would wind up with all the doctors who are tired of being sued, and they would end up with all the lawyers. at that point, her adament stand began to waiver. after all, who the hell wants more lawyers?

As far as insurrection, there will not be a coup moment or anything that will get people outraged enough to endanger their comfy lifestyles. It will be more like Chavez. A little healthcare here. Wage and price controls there. That entity is too big to fail, the government needs to run it. The next thing you know, we become France. Once these programs get implemented, they never go away.
It’s just like fishing. The fish doesn’t get riled up until you try taking the lure away.

I plan to attend several of these Tea Parties and fully expect that La Raza and/or ACORN will be sending the usual balaclava-hooded thugs to throw bottles of frozen of urine at us. The important thing is that we outnumber them substantially. The power is swinging to us and the MSM will not be able to ignore us if these Tea Parties turn into a broad movement.

I am all for the Tea Parties. But I would like to make a strong suggestion. Beware of allowing the media, any media, to take control of the events.
Fullerton unfortunately allowed the radio jocks to take control, and of course for rating and shock value they led the people to display a ‘mock beheading’ of the Governator. People were parading around with ‘bloody severed heads’ of Arnold.
I implore everyone who is taking part in the parties (as I hope to do) to do so in a manner that doesn’t make us look like freaks and doesn’t mimmick Islamic terrorists and drug lords!
Those kind of antics may get attention, but it won’t be the right kind and it will provide our opponents with ammunition to distract from our main message.

#1: There are kids present, no profanity please (or anything that might actually incite violence from the Obamabots).
#2: This is not about Pres. Obama as a person, but rather the policies, corruption, taxes, spending, et cetera of the current government, including Mr Obama, Mizz Pelosi, Mr Reed, and many many others.
Shouting stuff like that only reinforces the left’s stereotype that we are reactionary bigots. We are loyal Americans who are FED UP with the shenanigans of our gov’t.

Absolutely! It’s long and the first half is a bit depressing, but the second half more than makes up for it.
I get depressed when people argue that we can’t make a difference. I say “We MUST make a difference! If we want America back, if we want our employees in Washington DC to start working for US – We the People – we have no other choice but to start small and keep it growing.
Thank you Michelle for all you are doing towards this effort. It’s Herculean in our effort. For too long we’ve sat around saying “what can we do?”
That is why I refused to pin general and resigned my commission.
And I have no regrets.
Zero, we’re not there yet, but the approach speed doubles with each action. IF a time comes to choose, I hope you find what you need.

My answer in the other thread was a rather long OT post, so in consideration of MM I’ll not stink-up her board by replicating my convoluted cacklings…
He’s not doing much of a political stripe right now… he finds writing difficult (fine motor function), and reading the blogs sends him into a funk. He’s basically buried himself The Scriptures & his library — which is pretty good sized. When he & StepMom
PCSmove & they pack *his* library[grin] the count is 500 boxes of books. Most of those (4/5ths) are history and civilization, 2/3rds of those are US History, Military History (prior WWI) and Bios of various Historic Figures.When he’s not reading he’s pushing his rehab. He works atleast 2x as long at rehab than they ask of him — indeed, if StepMom didn’t ride him to rest, I think he’d work himself to collapse. And, if she wasn’t a surgeon (and his wife) I doubt he’d listen… as it is, he won’t listen to anyone else about it.

I have extreme carpal tunnel in my hands so I understand about the typing and writing thing! One reason I don’t do long posts anymore and don’t do many photoshop graphics, although I get inspired enough to do some.
I’m glad to hear he’s up and about, but sorry to hear how disheartened he is. I understand though. It’s pretty amazing to see the overall disinterest in our countries downfall. I cling to the Prophecies and trust in them that our Constitution will be saved.
