Lesson of the Cramer/Stewart kerfuffle
It was a beclowning. A cable castration. Sacrificial slaughter. Sadomasochist programming. But more than anything else, the Jon Stewart/Jim Cramer show was an object lesson. An object lesson in how the one thing the media/infotainment world loves to cover most is itself, itself, itself.
Here is a screenshot of the top half of Memeorandum, the web’s top aggregator of MSM news/opinion/blog posts. It’s been like this all day long:

I’m sure Stewart, sanctimonious scourge of Big Media, will be wagging his finger on Monday at all of the journalistic sycophants wasting time and ink lionizing him and promoting his show instead of covering REAL ISSUES.
Since he’s so concerned and indignant about financial fraud and shoddy journalism, perhaps the brave Speaker of Truth to Power will set his sights next on crony of color Maxine Waters or the ACORN crime racket.
Yeah, make me laugh.
***
Ultimately, I find Stewart disturbing because in some sense he’s doing exactly what Cramer is–making powerful statements, and then when he gets called on him, retreating into the claim that well, you can’t really expect him to act as if he were being taken seriously. Jim Cramer, whose stockpicking acumen seems slightly worse than your average monkey with a dartboard, frequently issues recommendations that people act on, then brushes off the failures with a shrug.
Jon Stewart also shapes peoples’ decisions. Video is a medium with powerful claims to reality–people tend to think that if they saw it, it must be true. This makes it uniquely good at manipulating its audience with skillful editing. I’m very sympathetic to Stewart’s deep critique of financial shows, but I don’t think the way to go about it was to string together a bunch of very misleading clips. Nor to imply that Santelli, who has been vocally against all bailouts from the beginning, was merely frothing on the forclosure program because ordinary taxpayers were finally getting a taste of federal largesse. But Stewart carefully claims he’s just an entertainer, so he has no obligation to hew to journalistic standards on things like quoting out of context.

Why is he not going after Dodd, Franks, Reid, and Pelosi… Oh that’s right he supports them stealing an lieing. Love the double standard.
Michelle, I’ve said it before and I’ll say it again…
YOU deserve a Pulitzer Prize for your work. There is no one out there that does better investigative journalism than you do.
That said, there is one area where you could do better.
Here’s a hint.
I’ll let the architects speak:
“Of all the arts, the motion picture is the most important.” ~Vladimir Lenin
“This weapon [cinema], which cries out to be used, is the best instrument for political propaganda, which cuts into the memory and may be made a possible source of revenue.” ~ Leon Trotsky
“We are obliged… to make amusement a weapon of collective education. The cinema competes with the church. This rivalry may become fatal for the church. The cinema liberates you from the need of crossing the church door. Here is an instrument we must secure at all costs.” ~ Severneya Pravda
“A quiet revolution can be dispersed throughout a culture over a period of time to destroy it from within. Mass psychology and media can break the traditions, beliefs and morals and the will of a nation so there is no possibility of resistance.” ~ Antonio Gramsci
I just can’t wrap my head around the fact that Cramer, a guy who gives out stock advice, voted for a fiscal leftist like Obama. WHAT WAS THAT IDIOT THINKING???
But, but, but Stewart didn’t have a problem until Crazy Cramer busted BO.
Both of these guys do more harm than good in the world, particularly Cramer. I am a professional investment advisor who regularly interviews potential new clients. One of my first tasks is to root out any “lessons” they may have learned from the Cramers, Ormonds, and/or other celebrity investment “personality”.
Women, for instance, invariably worship Suzie Ormond and will ask what I think of her. My response is always to ask instead: “What exactly does she recommend that you like?”. The answer is always “I don’t know but I I think she’s great.” Another accident looking for someplace to happen.
Common sense goes a long, long way in this business. Don’t bother with the clowns on CNBC. Watch the adults on Bloomberg instead.
Two liberals slapping at each other. The fact that anyone cares is troublesome.
Well, you know , if a fool goes to the right cocktail party, he /she can be perceived as a wise sage…My corolary to Murphy’s Laws
Cramer versus Stewart, who do ya root for?
The 300 plus million Americans effected by the destructive forces brought to bear full force by liberalism, thats who.
Let them eat their own.
This is just like that loser Al Franken who was caught lying in his book Lying Liars and the Lies Liars tell, or whatever it was. I actually read it out of boredom, don’t ask, but when he was called out on his fabrication (lies) of facts, by CNN nonetheless, he said that he was an entertainer so it was okay. I wonder if that will still be his excuse if he happens to steal, err become a senator and his lies get exposed?
Whether or not Cramer is a liberal is irrelevant, he is a sacrifice since it is still a huge jab at capitalism. Demonizing the stock market is big business to appeal to the young hip crowd who watches a rag like the Daily Show, and voted for Obama since they were told to by someone as hip as Stewart. I used to watch it when it was funny, Craig Kilborn was good and the show was not a leftist cheerfest. I stopped after Stewart signed on and it seemed to be nothing but a Democrat gaffe (lightly poke fun at that) Republican gaffe (skewer the hell out of it) type of show.
BTW, although I’m not proud of it, on the weekends I like to have a few beers and when I drink, I smoke. I just went to the store to buy a pack and the cigarettes here in Cali are more than a dollar more expensive. When I was told the total (pretty much 6 dollars) I said whoah. The clerk told me their cig sales are way down since the price increase. I wonder if people here are quitting (probably not) or are finding black markets somewhere. Black markets probably supporting criminal enterprise or terrorism. Dems are so great.
You know, the Liberals actually view “The Dailey Show” as an actual, real news cast. I can’t tell you how many times Liberals have either directly quoted things from either Stewert or that show, or something they have written on a blog either as an article or comment can be directly traced back to the show and/or it’s host.
This is the biggest issue with the Liberals and how they relate to the world and the people in it.
All of their biggest commentators and pundits are all comedians, either current (Jon Stewart) or failed and refusing to leave (Garafolo, Franken, O’Donnell, the entire cast of Air America, etc.).
They listen and form their political beliefs and outlook on what someone who needs to have whatever they say and do in public written down for them by one person, while yet another person tells them where to move, when to move, their motivation for moving, and so on, and so on.
And they wonder why we cannot take them seriously and end up laughing at them right to their faces…just like LGM, MJ, IHMC, Chap…
The Real Lesson:
Dems tried to manufacture fighting amoung conservatives. i.e. Limbaugh v Steele. It didn’t work.
However, the Dems are now imploding and fighting amoung themselves. The great the about it? – Conservatives did even have to lift a finger to make it happen.
cramer and stewart together or alone not what those who wished for 500 channels desired.
side comment:
cramer would be in jail if his pal Spitzer hadnt been AG.
as far as stewart a nobody whiner.
Neither one has to say anything that’s relevant to me so…
That’s what they do best, actual reporting requires research and would be too much like, you know, work.
Thank God for the New Media.
Jim Cramer who picked Wachovia as a BUY? That Jim Cramer needs a cable castration. I think Jon Stewart already had one when he was young.
Self important talking heads do not impress.

Keep the change-I’ll keep my guns
Libs eating libs? Who cares? I guess it does go to show that they are not all strict vegetarians though.
re: Cramer/Stewart
Considering their egos, I’m surprised either would care what the other thinks. Other than being an object lesson in Obama fans eating their own, neither should we.
P.S. I like the use of “sanctimonious” for Stewart. That nails it.
They also think the Williams-Gibson-Couric shows are actual, real news casts. The Daily Show spews leftie propaganda/lies so well because when they’re called on it, they can just hide behind the “we’re snake oil salesmen and we tell you so up front” claim. I wonder if the people at The Daily Show admire Goebbels as much as he would have admired them-or he at least would have admired their methods.
Don’t break ranks with the BO cult, they’ll turn Jon Stewart loose on you.
Good point. Sometime I wonder if Michelle is convinced Obama is legally qualified to be POTUS. I know I’m not, and the reason is as much in his refusal to release his school records as it is not getting a look at his original birth certificate. If Obama was a tiny fraction as smart as his worshippers believe, his college grades, thesis and other information would be posted everywhere, not kept hidden from view and protected by teams of lawyers being paid multi-millions, as if some dark secret is being covered up. Perhaps the secret is who financed his mega-buck education…and, that he was classified as a foreign student?
Who is Jon Stewart and is Saturday Night Live still a TV show?
/sarc off
I’ve never found Stewart amusing. He claims to be a satarist, an entertainer, but actually presents himself as a newsman. Which is more of a fraud? Stewart or Cramer. It would be difficult to answer that question.
Steward’s continual attacks are vicious, and deliberately targeted at those that do not agree with his politics. He is a nasty, unfunny man who pretends to be a newsman.
I actually think he is far ore dangerous than Cramer and far more disingenuous
Although it took me awhile to get used to the clownery of the show post Kudlow & Cramer, I watch Mad Money. I watch it for the approach he takes towards stocks and his analysis of companies. I don’t watch it to get hot picks, and I sure as heck don’t watch it to get any kind of political analysis.
The stock market isn’t some magic guaranteed money machine. If you aren’t doing your own research, you have no business owning shares in any company. If you buy stocks because someone on TV tells you to, you are a dope.
proud to say I have never watched a second of either show
Someone should maybe tell Mr. Stewart that while he might believe that, his audience on the other hand believes he is a news source and journalist.
Younger Americans get news from a new place
and who do these people trust for news?
Jon Stewart leads “most trusted anchor” poll
Hey frontierguy…I used to do the same thing…only smoke when I drank. So, I started drinking at 7:00 a.m. and stopped when I went to bed. That became somewhat of a problem. Just kidding, but seriously, you don’t have to apologize for being a smoker. Most of us are also smokers or ex-smokers, so we understand. I quit about 25 years ago. Cold turkey. If I can quit, ANYONE
CAN. Sorry, I hit the send button by mistake. I probably should have edited, but, oh, well!
I put this in the same category as drug dealers killing each other. Hurray!!!
Jon Stewart has been devoting alot of time lately spewing out his leftwing hatred and ridicule of Israel. He has become so agitated by his loathing of Israel that he has won an award from an Islamic/Arabian group. Stewart got hysterical over Israel’s checkpoints. (I wonder if Stewart would find something funny about the 29 dead Israeli teenagers at the Dolphinerium Disco in Tel Aviv. Checkpoints would have prevented the mass murder). Stewart’s attacks on Israel are designed to show how cool and with it he is. Stewart also engages in selfloathing. He was interviewing a Jewish major league baseball player a few months ago and Stewart actually said to him: “Are you sure you are a Jew, I mean your’e an athlete”. Stewart thought he was hysterically funny and doubled over in laughter at his own pathetic humor. The ballplayer just looked at Stewart as being a loser.
Oh and this is all I need to know about Mr. Crammer, so Mr. Stewart was right to bash him.
Jim Cramer: “Bear Stearns is Fine!” Tues, 3/11/08
I wrote him off as a credible source after this.
Well-said comment, in its entirety.
Getting one’s news from Jon Stewart is to the liberal Ignorati class what playing “Pachinko” is to many Japanese: they’ll offer stout denials, but you strongly suspect that more than a few of them partake of the activity.
Sometimes you see evidence supporting that suspicion, like the serious attention paid to a dispute between:
(1) A high-strung stock-picker who can’t predict the behavior of a traffic light, not to mention the market, but who had the temerity to criticize the Dear Leader on TV; and
(2) A foul-mouthed, self-important poltroon who if denied negative expression about others wouldn’t have anything to say at all.
This is why I don’t bother “debating” with liberals; most of them are so sound-poundingly uninformed or misinformed that the endeavor is doomed even before they kick in with the emotionalisms, canards, cliches, slogans and logical fallacies they call “arguments.”
It’s a pointless way to burn up present moments that I’ll never get back and could better spend in some other pursuit.
Applause.
Cramer is all noise, no brain. I agree with Pressto about Cramer touting Bear Stearns just before they imploded. At that point, I never listened to him again. Actually, I’ve NEVER listened to him at all regarding the markets or stocks. Anyone that listens to these cable stock shows for selections is an idiot. Do your OWN homework. Stewart is snarky “I’m smarter than you are” idiot like Olbermann, just not as nasty.
Maybe we should throw the both of them into the arena to fight to the death and feed the winner to the lions. This episode is an attempt at providing more circuses to entertain the masses watching a couple of elite leftist idiots going after each other in a catty slap fight. It is interesting to see the buyer’s remorse of those on the left finally waking up from their Kool-Aid induced comas and how they are being torn apart for speaking up after figuring out “dear leader” is an empty suit.
ΜΟΛΩΝ ΛΑΒE (mo-lone lah-veh) Translation: “Come and Take Them!”
I think the real point to all this is no criticism of Obama will be tolerated at all. Even if you generally support him and left wing politics, you are not allowed to be critical of specifics.
It is how they recruit and keep the young people. It is hip and cool to be on the wagon, if you jump off the wagon, it’s crucifixion for you.
Tucker Carlson called Jon Stewart “A Pretentious A$$” remember on CNN. Yeah that’s One for Tucker Carlson, he was spot on.
Note to Jon Stewart: Make Me Laugh Monkey.
I have always been astounded at the ability of the liberal media to break a big story that spins off several other stories. In the end it always becomes a story about the media.
The Drive By Media (thank you Rush) has the same voracity as Maxine Waters to control others, while accepting no responsibility for what they say or do.
Being familiar w/ Stewart’s left-wing politics from his standup bits on CC during the early `90’s, I haven’t watched the Daily Show since Craig Kilborn left.
That being said, I think Bill O’Reilly nailed this whole thing last night when he attributed Stewart’s new-found indignation at all things CNBC, to be the result of Cramer and Santelli daring to criticize Obama’s excessive spending and inability to positively affect the economy.
I think O’Reilly was also right on the mark when he described Stewart as a player in the Palmieri-Podesta CAP – a group dedicated to attacking anyone critical of Obama and Democrats in general.
They are both idiots and deserve eachother and the loss of their millions.
They voted for this, and get what they get.
I agree with Atlas OBAMA is NOT a citizen, show us your school records you faggot
The lesson learned from the Cramer-Stewart kerfuffle was that the business cable shows do not truly investigate or analyze what they report on, and then, do not explain what is going on in the business world with any level of honesty. That’s the lesson and message.
It took a comedian to point this out, just like it took a plumber to point out and focus attention on a Presidential candidate’s fiscal policy.
It isn’t about the messenger, it is about the message.
Yeah, he’s funny alright. Kinda like that “funny” feeling you get right before you throw up.
Oops! I for got to add that O`Reilly credits Politico.com/Michael Calderone’s reporting for the basis of his analogy.
Not to me: it didn’t take that long to learn the difference between stupid entertainment “comedian” trying to be all self-important (Stewart) and stupid business advice from a clown (Cramer). I figured this out waaaayy long ago on my own. And I have not watched either except while passing through the channels to find real news or real entertainment.
Bill O`Reilly-not just another pretty face but one more talking head without a clue on how things work.
I have a tough time taking CRAMER when he is on his game… As for STEWART, he was a piss-poor actor, and a much worse stand-up comic… A battle of WITS, between two unarmed opponents!!!
I used to watch Stewart occasionally when he was funny. Just like SNL. I would always tape it if I wasn’t able to watch, because it was so great. The past three+ years, I don’t bother to watch at all. The great years of Martin Short, Eddie Murphy, Dana Carvey, et al are long past and it is now just a left-wing propaganda show with over-the-top “comedy”. They think that “shock value” and sarcasm equates to “laughter”. It doesn’t.
NOT TO WORRY! I am a little slow on the news today but White House Spokesman Flubber Gibbs:
Feel better? We are saved, really, really saved–All Hail He Whose Middle Name is Hussein–We are saved, really, really saved! As for me…
—
Keep the change-I’ll keep my guns
Oh, goody – the publicity seeking bozo has to bring up its delusion again.
Obsessed a little, troll?
Who are these people and why should I care?
Y’all’s criticisms of the Daily Show are baseless. Stewart’s whole routine principally consists in calling out politicians and media types of their dishonesty. So, for instance, he criticizes Obama for saying that the war in Iraq is over and in the same speech saying that we’ll have more than 35,000 troops fighting there for at least two more years. He criticizes the the media for outright lies about their own records and for being mouthpieces. That is, when he sees BS, he calls it. When CNBC’s Santelli whined about “losers’ mortgages,” Stewart pointed out that many of these “losers” probably lost all their money from following CNBC’s advice. Similarly, the run up in the banks’ estimated value immediately prior to the collapse was encouraged and cheered by CNBC. This is generally the case throughout the media. The same media that cheered on Obama also cheered on the invasion of Iraq, etc. Stewart’s main interest is calling BS. I don’t see how that’s liberal, unless somehow honesty is an especially liberal trait (which, of course, it isn’t).
what is truly a head scratcher is why the white house spokesman was so pleased to see that the comedian made the stock broker/host look foolish. did the dear leader get on the blower to his sychophant stewart and tell him to diss the boy. we can’t have these people on the airwaves telling the truth and making us look incompetent, so make him look incompetent.
You must be watching different shows than I have. Admittedly, I haven’t watched him lately, but I used to. He is slanted left, and seemed to be going even further left when I decided to stop watching. Does he also make jokes about the dems? Yes. But, be honest, they are very few and far between, and don’t have the nasty punch of the ones against republicans. If you are honest, you will admit that is the truth.
Um…that is really a dumb thing to say. It. just. isn’t. so.
Maybe, but I don’t think he needed any help from anyone in order to look incompetent. He took care of that all by himself.
The point is, Stewart never made a peep about this before the CNBC guys went off on Obama’s economic policies, e.g., Stewart didn’t raise this kinda fuss when Cramer blew it six months ago w/ Bear Stearns.
Stewart is attacking Cramer and Santelli on Obama’s behalf, and possibly at the urging of Podesta’s CAP group.
Politico.com:
Hard to believe, but the Democrats’ fav conservative, Tucker Carlson, saying that -
Red Pill,
Right on! MM is journalism from old school except when it comes to BO’s citizenship. There is something pervese and sinister about the whole issue that makes it all right to check McCain’s citizenship, but not BO’s. I understand a law is being drafted ensuring that NEXT time, it will be law to disclose whether or not you qualify. I guess all we can hope for is this law to pass and to force BO to sho an actual BC before the next POTUS elections.
Imagine Jon Stewart making light of BO’s posting a certificate of live birth in lieu of an actual BC?
Or lampooming his birth in a Kenyan mud hut to a communist, arabic father and a drug using hippy mom!
Oops! “..but[that's] the… .”
Off Topic, but incredibly important:
Has anyone looked at Drudge this morning? Looks like The Boy Blunder shot long in his guess as to when the world was going to test Der Fuhrer.
Russia putting long-range bombers in Cuba and Venezuela, upping the ante from Kennedy,
Obama dispatched heavy destroyers to the South China Sea after a standoff with the Chinese Navy overnight,
Iran declared itself a Nuclear and Space Power,
Bin Laden makes an appearance to call for Jihad against “Moderate” Islamic countries,
An Iranian Drone was shot down over Iraq in clear violation,
And poor Obama is already too tired to deal with what was going on before all this. Gee…you think these countries are taking advantage?
Makes you wonder why they were all wanting someone like Obama who clearly did not have the experience or the cajones to stand up to this type of threats and who clearly had no grasp of what the real world and all it’s threats and dangers were really all about, to win last November, huh?
Frankly, it is beginning to look like this was some sort of planned-ahead thing to begin with. The speed with which everything has happened…the economy, the moves from rogue and enemy countries, all the chaos…just makes all of this appear too “perfect” for them to be random events happening together.
Obama is no Jack Kennedy. The Russians know for a fact that he will not stand up to them. Chavez knows that Obama will do nothing about the bombers going there.
China knows for a fact that they can push and push and push until Obama makes his mistake. They know he has absolutely no military or strategic knowledge at all, thus they know they will be able to push him into making a huge mistake.
And Iran knew they had him with pants down, over a barrel the minute he said he wanted to talk without any preconditions. He showed them how weak he was by allowing them to make the rules. They know he is even weaker than Carter and will do nothing to stop their plans. They know they can fly drones in Iraq, do incursions across the border, and he will let them.
The damage that the people of this country have done is no where near being close to exposing all of it yet. In less than 2 months, he has driven as fast as he can to the edge of the cliff, and I don’t think there is anyone in his Administration that knows how to drive, let alone where the brakes are.
Kids…we are screwed.
I have never been able to watch Cramer for mre than 5 or 10 minutes, he is that annoying. When I heard, and read about the interview, I just had to see it. It was painful. My bottom line is that Cramer is an adult and capable of making decisions for himself. His decision to go on the show was certainly a bad one.
I work as a consultant and expert witness. One thing Cramer should have recognized is that the guy with prepared questions always has the advantage in a dialogue. Cramer tried to be as honest and humble as possible, but Stewart just eviscerated him.
While I have no love for either of these entertainers, and certainly don’t listen to a TV huckster for stock advice, I think Stewart was out of line. Bill O’Reilly has the right idea in these situations – go on the offensive from the beginning and disconcert your inquisitor. It worked on Letterman and the View.
Way off topic, but this is the only active thread – noting that this was a subject of concern a few days ago.
I don’t know how you can expect our Leader to deal with all these things at once! He is working on destroying this country’s economy and turning us into socialism. And trying to cover all his lies and cover-ups is extremely tiring. He is fatigued. Way too weary to deal with foreign affairs. And besides, he knows nothing about foreign affairs. Leave the poor, inexperience doofus alone!
/sarc
On a more serious note, start praying. This is going to get even worse. God help us!
Oh, and RetFireman…if Venezuela attacks us, I pray they start with Hollywood…and that Sean Penn is over visiting his favorite dictator at the time of our retaliation!
The anti-smoking Nazis have done an excellent job of making anyone who is exercising their right to smoke a cig feel like a pariah, a social outcast where they feel that apologies are necessary. The campaign was not just successful, but it was unbelievable fast. They even made it so alcoholics are free from the dreaded “second-hand smoke”, keeping them from smoking in bars. Yup…that’s just what we need…healthy drunks.
I quit ten years ago, myself, but not because they forced me into it or guilted me into it. However, all I really did was change method of nicotine intake.
After all…as my little brother says, “No one ever died from second-hand spit”. Just a pinch between the old cheek and gum…
Jon Stewart is Jewish! C’mon, Marc. I see everyone here is piling on Jon Stewart and The Daily Show, but I can tell by the comments most people here don’t watch it regularly and those who do watch, like you, obviously don’t get it!
Dude…when he’s questioning a Jewish athlete’s athletic ability, it’s called self-loathing humor. Like it or not (or don’t understand it, in your case), it’s a joke on himself as much as anyone else.
Marc, you also said JS won an award from a “Islamic/Arabian group” (Islam is a religion, Arabs are a race of people…so which is it?!?) for Stewart’s tirades against Israeli checkpoints.
Please show me the link. I did a search and came up with nothing, because it’s simply not true and you are lying.
Ha!!! Can I assume you have a bunch of spitoons all over your house?
It is going to put a serious crimp in his party plans. Good thing he is fixing things with our allies, though…would hate to think what it would have been like if Bush were still President, or worse…McAmnesty. Whoooo…sure dodged a bullet there, huh?
Everyone…quick…start singing “Kumbaya” as loud as you can. If they know WE are against war and violence, that’s all it will take…maybe we can cool their hot hearts with a warm island song.
That’s why Diet Pepsi comes in 20oz. plastic bottles, isn’t it? And not all over…right next to my chair, out of sight.
I always looked at that sorta thing as a self cleaning oven.
Being single has at least one advantage…
Chlorine in the gene pool.
That is a good analogy!
I get it…it is the vast majority of their audience that doesn’t. They are the ones who think it is a real newscast and take him and it seriously…Colbert too. Even Stewart has had to remind people it is all a joke…because Liberals only believe what fits their corrupt view of the world. Ironically what passes for that is what rational people call humor.
the thread seems to have gone off topic, so let me add, has anyone noticed how our ENEMIES are poking at Der Fuher, pushing proding a just a little to see what he’ll do. Russia back at it, Cold War II anyone? Course it won’t be just Russia this round, China will bark as loud as they can till it effects their economy.
I brought that all up a few comments ago. If you look at drudge this morning, you will see that all our “enemies” have decided to push all at the same time. Why? Well when the PotUS comes out and publicly declares that he is just too tired to deal with foreign affairs, let alone that he knows nothing about dealing with foreign affairs, and the State Department says that there is no one they consider to be a better friend or ally than anyone else and no one should expect special treatment, basically thumbing their noses at any and all of our allies, what choice do they have other than to push him and see just what they will be able to get away with.
But look on the bright side…with any luck, Der Fuhrer and the rest of his cabal will come out and declare that they had no idea just how hard the job was, that they were completely wrong about Bush and that he was a much better man than Obama, for with all that Bush had to deal with, he never…NEVER complained about being tired or about ANYTHING over those 8 years, and they all step down, allowing for another election where we can finally get some qualified people in there.
I know, I know…must be the homemade cinnamon rolls my daughters made me this morning.
OT
Ummm, we’re not joking.
Who said anything about the Amazon.
Dude, don’t go away mad…just go away!!! (to paraphrase a song)
We can only pray that is all it will be, a COLD war.
As well it should. The topic is rather limited and has kind of petered out. But Michelle didn’t give us an open forum for the weekend. So…have at it!!
I have a feeling, if we are attacked, they will do it in the evening when they know Obama is partying and probably has had a bit too much $1,000-a-bottle champagne.
Cold war? No way. This is more than a “saber rattling” issue. This is more of a “probing” exercise. What they are all doing is just a bigger form of what armies would do on the front line…probing at it to find any holes or weaknesses.
Of course, the only thing they really need do is watch the news or any television shows for that matter, and wait until they show a picture of Der Fuhrer which will show them the biggest weakness this country has ever known.
You guys wait. There is something coming, and it isn’t going to be small. This is exactly what they have been waiting a very long time for, and rest assured, they are not going to let such a golden opportunity slip past their grasp.
God help us all…
RELEASE HIS RECORDS NOW…BEFORE IT IS TOO LATE!!!!
I can barely even laugh at the stupidity of the relatively more innocuous actions of this President. For example, insulting our most important ally by giving Gordon Brown a set of movies as a gift. He’s blind in one eye, going blind in the other, and isn’t a big movie fan! This is just a shaving off of the tip of the iceberg we’re about to hit, and it would have been funny sixteen years ago. It isn’t now.
For those interested in Obama’s (in)eligiblity to hold the office of POTUS & C-in-C, I have made several comments in the “enemy combatant” thread. That seemed like a very appropriate place for them.
If interested, start here and read down.
It ends with a very recent development from Leo Donofrio.
Stewart is the new enforcer for Pravda.
Criticize the Obama, and he will try to hurt you.
Well stated as always by Mark Styn but it breaks my heart that so many of our young people do not have the life skills to see this coming–perhaps it is Jon Stewart/Cramer-Fox has Red Eye-. But you would THINK that by the time they graduate high school they would have the basics. I guess not. It is a real shame.
Criticize the Obama, and he (girly boy?) will try to hurt you? As I have said before and say again…
—
Keep the change-I’ll keep my guns
I added more as well. The evidence…and that is EXACTLY what it is…not rumor, not conjecture…evidence…is mounting faster every day.
Yet it is continually being ignored and buried because there are those that either are mistakenly trying to save the country from major embarrassment, an incredibly huge Constitutional crisis, the likes of which no one could have ever imagined, or some other reason that makes sense only to themselves. As for the Left hiding it…well their reasons are obvious. Should it finally be released, proving that he is not eligible to be President, the people who would be sent to Federal Prison for fraud, treason, possible sabotage and any number of about a hundred other charges, would basically wipe out the DNC in both houses, governors, etc., leaving them out of office for decades, if they are able to recover.
Every single thing he has signed or implemented would be thrown out as having been done illegally.
Ultimately it will have to be discovered just who it was that instigated and funded the fraud. As it would not be cheap and far to complicated and complex for the likes of Ayers and his cronies, the implications as to just where such an investigation would lead.
It is not just a guy who wanted to be President and rich so bad that he would go through all this. No, it is so much bigger than that.
But hey…we are just a bunch of tin hat wearing fools, equal to those who thing 9-11 was an inside job.
Guys, I am with you on this, the whole Obama-is-he-or-isn’t-he-only-his-hair-dresser-knows-for-sure thing, but I really believe it belongs in an open thread. Taking over threads like this is bad manners and all it is likely to accomplish is irritate our host mightily. Not a good thing. I have my disagreements with MM but this is her site and abusing the posting privilege is uncool. We really do not want to go there. If you think otherwise, fine. But you should check with her first to see if she objects.
I think most folks had their say on the Steward/Cramer smackdown, and the tread just evolved into something more and more people are starting to question, and rightfully so, IMO. Obama’s eligibilty to be POTUS has not been proven, and apparently isn’t going to be.
A subject worthy of discussion, especially since Obama’s enablers in the MSM refuse to talk about it.
I am surprised that Michelle didn’t give us an open thread this weekend. If we have gone off-topic, I think she will forgive us! On FOX today, someone brought up the fact that back in October, about a month before the election, ALL money in the world stopped moving for a while. This person said it was the strangest thing! (I think it was Bret Baar) And of course, we all know what the economic mess did to the republican presidential campaign. I have no idea what brought our economy down, but I suspect it was somehow deliberate. Another tin foil hat, please! I will put it on!
It has been said Soros caused a run on Sept. 18th, causing the shut down. Had they not shut down, it would have destroyed us.
Didn’t Al Qaeda state they would destroy us through our own economy and using our own system of government? Or was it some other Islamic entity?
