I watched his teleprompter delivery this morning, and his face revealed anything but anger. This clown was preaching about how the bad exec’s were doing this or that, and during the entire speech, he had a smirk on his face! Anger? I don’t think so.

I read people really well, and there was no hint of real emotion. There wasn’t even feigned anger. We have seen him show anger before, during the primary…brow furrowed, corners of his mouth down turned…eyes drawn tight…but not today. The Commander in Chief, is not only showing his incompetency, but earning a new title…Poser in Chief.

THAT will be good for AIG… They have to find people brilliant enough to fix their mess, yet stupid enough to want to work for a company where getting paid depends upon whether you survive a fraudulent rigged federal investigation with the pure partisan aim of making populist Obama look like he’s doing something for the “little guy,” but only by sticking it to the “big guy.” Of course, if AIG goes to court, it’s legal fees are just going to come out of bailout money.

I disagree that the letter was “snotty.” It made perfect sense to me… contracts are contracts and must be paid.

Yup, my thoughts exactly. Tell the world a contract you sign is worthless and watch everyone beat a path to the exit.

it IS necessary to honor contracts and offer a RELIABLE competitive bonus schedule to attract any kind of talent which could possibly safeguard the taxpayer’s investment at this point. We are going to lose 100% of our investment if AIG’s recruiting stance is “We welch on our debts, and we’re firing people left and right… come join our sinking ship!” This bonus policy is still the correct course of action, even though I have no confidence in AIG’s ability to succeed in this manner.

I agree. Honoring contracts is after all, the rule of law. Unless of course you’re Obama pandering to disgrutled tax payers. Whichever direction the wind is blowing, so is Odumbo.
