I am SO looking forward to the '10 midterms. Just think - in '94 the press didn't see the Republican Revolution coming. Will history repeat? It all depends on whether the moderates get mad enough.

AIG bonuses = $165M red herring.

Which distract you from seeing trillion deficit spending.

Notice that none, NONE, are railing against the foundational enablers of the current credit crisis: the rating agencies that slapped AAA grades on real sludge. Why they are not being burnt at the stake at politico's evening campfires every day is simply amazing. NO ONE, not even the blogosphere, is going after them.

If Obama's Government does not like what these corporations were planning on doing with the money, he should not have given it to them.

When you go in for a loan, or when someone gives you money, is it really that person's or the bank's business what you do with the money?

Are we really supposed to believe that Obama was taken totally by surprise?

Well, actually when you consider he has never held a real job, let alone managed or run a company of any sort, yeah...it is more than likely that he really had no clue as to what was going to happen.

He has never run a business, so the voters gave him the keys to the largest business in the world, and now they are all shacked that he has no idea how to run it. And Der Fuhrer has the gaul to talk about how these other corporations are running their business? Tis the Liberal way.

lgm said:

Besides, the Tea Parties are explicitly unpatriotic — refusing to pay taxes and suggesting violent overthrow of the government.

So it's OK to question people's patriotism now? Kewl!

Oh, and you are historically ignorant. From wikipedia concerning the first tea party:

"The incident, which took place on December 16, 1773, was a major catalyst of the American Revolution and remains an iconic event of American history."

Tea parties are the epitome of American patriotism.

Real American workers simply don't have time to attend a protest at 9AM on a weekday (someone pointed this out earlier).

Professional Protesters, Students, and those on the public teat can.

And yes, there are professional protesters - what do you think that $2B for Acron is for?

The MSM doesn’t cover Tea Parties because they’re puny. The ones that draw more than a dozen people, like the one in Cincinnati, do get reported.

Then why didn't the rally of 15,000 people get covered by the L.A. Times?

Did you even read the topic before commenting?
