Planting the seeds of the next shamnesty

The Hill reports that President Obama will “huddle” with Hispanic Democrats tomorrow to talk “immigration reform.”
Translation: The seeds of the next shamnesty are being planted:
Hispanic Democrats will have their first West Wing meeting with President Obama on Wednesday morning to discuss immigration reform, according to Democratic sources.
The meeting is the first face-to-face sit-down between Obama and the Congressional Hispanic Caucus (CHC) since the president was sworn-in. Some in the CHC have recently expressed frustration that Obama has not talked more about immigration in his first two months in office.
Immigration reform is front-and-center on the group’s agenda.
CHC is eager to hear the president’s ideas and proposals for tackling immigration reform, not only as it relates to a comprehensive reform bill that could provide a pathway to citizenship for millions of undocumented workers but also as it relates to rolling back Bush administration policies of raiding workplaces and detaining and deporting thousands of illegal workers.
CHC members came away from a recent meeting in the Capitol with Department of Homeland Security Secretary Janet Napolitano — a day after her Senate confirmation hearing — very encouraged that the workplace raids policy would be fully reviewed, and possibly altered.
Obama is on board. His DHS secretary is on board. The question is not whether, but when. He spoke to the massive illegal alien shamnesty march in Chicago in 2006, where he boasted of standing “shoulder-to-shoulder” with the open-borders mob. Here’s a flashback:

And the link goes to the post where Obama is quoted as saying,
“I remember May Day 2006″.
May Day?
How much more of a Communist give away can you get than by calling it “May Day”?
May Day is synonymous with International Workers’ Day…
How the Democrat[ic Socialist Communist]s think:
“Yes, We Can!” –> “¡Sí se puede!” –> Alinsky Radicals –> Lucifer

I’ve had this video on my blog for a few weeks. Offered here for your consideration, since it’s related to the current feelings of those patriots here:

Bruce,
Posted this before, but I’ll try, try again:
BACKDOOR AMNESTY
HR 264
Title V Section 501
ADJUSTMENT OF STATUS ON THE BASIS OF EARNED ACCESS TO LEGALIZATION
‘Sec. 245B. (a) In General- The Secretary of Homeland Security may adjust the status of an alien to that of an alien lawfully admitted for permanent residence if the alien–
‘(1) was physically present in the United States for a continuous period of not less than 5 years immediately preceding the date on which this provision was enacted and has maintained continuous physical presence since then;
‘(c) Admissible as Immigrant-
‘(1) IN GENERAL- The alien shall establish that the alien is admissible to the United States as immigrant, except as otherwise provided in paragraph (2).
‘(2) EXCEPTIONS- The provisions of paragraphs (5), (6)(A), (6)(B), (6)(C), (6)(F), (6)(G), (7)(A), (9)(B), and (9)(C)(i)(I) of section 212(a) shall not apply in the determination of an alien’s admissibility under this section.
212a6A is illegal entry. 6B, C and so on are fraudulent documents and false claiming of US citizenship.
Basically if they hide out for 5 years, the secretary can adjust illegal aliens to legal residents.
Backdoor amnesty.
There’s more fun stuff in the bill, too, like adjustments of what crimes will keep someone out of the country.

Also:
More HR 264:
Section 622 removes mandatory detention for expedited removals. Rather than the illegal alien going to jail, many classes of aliens (those with family, etc. – plus a catch all of “(G) Other groups designated in regulations promulgated by the Secretary.”
What that means in practice is that when someone is given an expedited removal – a deportation – instead of being held in jail until their final hearing by a judge, they’re given “walking papers”. This is what used to happen for non-Mexican illegal aliens. They’d be given their papers and be told to show up at court to be determined ineligible and deported.
Instead, they took the walking papers and took off. Section 622 makes it so they can all do that!
And all they have to do is hide out for 5 years and they can be adjusted to residents or citizens.

According to govtrack, it’s been sent to committee.
We’re only about two short steps away from backdoor AMNESTY.

Michelle, I know your inbox is always full, so I hope you’re reading this.
CPL, thank you for that!
WE. MUST. PAY. ATTENTION.
Who is Sheila Jackson, and why does she want to trash our country?
Just dandy, the LONGER you break the law, the EASIER it is to become a citizen. Slowly going insane here.
can’t anyone in our government ask the mexican president why his country won’t adopt land reform so the same conquistador families from 400 years ago won’t own mexico. why do we the people of the u.s. have to undergo mexican land reform, meaning give them the southwest, so they don’t have a peasant revolt.
The DHS has 22 law enforcement agencies and thousands of employees . The head of that Department says the problem is to big to handle and requests help from the military. I think the job is to big for this pin head.Just like all of Obama’s appointments , another dud.We knew that we would be having another fight with congress over amnesty. So we had better start flooding their offices with telephone calls , letters and email.
We’ll see if republicans get the message…once again… that US citizens as a whole, do not want this crap-nesty package.
I won’t hire a contractor who hires illegal day laborers. The contractors I’ve spoken to were pissed when i told them why I wasn’t using them. If I can’t find anyone who doesn’t hire illegals, that’s fine. I’ll either not get the work done, or do it myself.
If as many Americans that objected to the last Amnesty crap sandwich would do the same, you’d see some progress on cleaning this mess up.
Hire a neighborhood kid to cut your grass, or do it yourself if you can.
San Fran Nan against what she calls raids by ICE she is for the right for Illegal Aliens to Work while American Citizens are out of work.

If she was just one more Congressmen it would be one thing but she is the Speaker of the House. Didn’t she have to raise her hand and take an oath to defend and protect the Constitution of the U.S.A.? I mean against all enemies foreign and domestic? Surely subversion of the Constitution aiding and abetting people breaking our laws is grounds?
CPL 310 – Hey, thanks.
I didn’t see the title of the bill included with your post, so I thought I’d offer it here (to help bring attention to how truly out of whack this attempt is…)
“Save America Comprehensive Immigration Act of 2009″
Might I suggest, the “Destroy America Comprehensive Immigration Act of 2009″?
A quote worthy of saving. Hope you don’t mind. I am saving this to read again.
Again, it’s back to ‘bidness’ as usual on the immigration issue. The very people that supported this new obamanation are the very people it will hurt. When millions will be able to claim benefits and services legally, the pie shrinks. Taxing large companies and the rich will only serve to move millions more jobs offshore….and the pie shrinks.
Instead of electing lawyers we need to elect economists and people that have actually run a business.
be careful what you say with that one…look at the jerks who have managed numerous companies needing bailouts…we need to instill some honest ethics into requirements for anybody running a business.
tiredofit #108 – if your theory of instilling “honest ethics into requirement for anybody running a business” – why on earth then would we need lawyers? The prime example of that is the mess we have in D.C.. Are you saying that only lawyers should hold public office? That we cannot trust anybody running a business with the charge of upholding the Constitution and the rule of law? Your “be becareful of what you say” speaks of bias, my friend.
