    This has become an problem in recent weeks and I have been working on a solution. We need a new currency to replace the dollar, perhaps the unit being the Unicorn Horn. Henceforth one Unicorn Horn will have a value of $100 billion in 2008 dollars. So now we can say that the cap and trade program will only cost the taxpayers 20 Unicorn Horns.

    Point of fact, “quadrillion” is more than a concept. According to some of the financial sources I read, the total obligations worldwide for CDOs runs well over 1 quadrillion dollars, and they were afraid that an AIG collapse would bring down the whole thing – in effect, bankrupt the whole world.

    Under Paygo, all tax cuts had to be “paid for” by spending cuts. Cutting taxes while raising spending — – that’s an unfunded tax cut. Clinton stopped Congressional Republicans from doing this. Bush encouraged it. That’s how Clinton got a balanced budget.
