Why is it that these democrats hate successful companies, yet throw massive $$ at dysfunctional companies who even owe back taxes??? Is the world upside down or what??

There's already a bailout built into US Law - it's called BANKRUPTCY. Don't pretend you don't know about it but you may be too ignorant of the law to realize what it really it.

A company that's down on their luck can file for BANKRUPTCY, restructure their debt, cut off the dead wood, throw out money loosing contracts and return stronger than ever without going out of business, without taking down the banks with them, and without putting undue burden on the American tax payer.

The only people that would lose are touchy-feely morons with no idea of how the financial system works and Democrats who are doing everything they can to sink this economy.

Of course with BANKRUPTCY you don't get Democrats handing out millions of taxpayer dollars for bonuses for their buddies and Democrat displays of manufactured rage when their hands are caught in the cookie jar.

The thing I want to say, and I'm surprised nobody's said yet is this:

Aren't these the guys who donated BIG BUCKS to get Obama elected?

And if they are, why should we be surprised that they didn't pay their taxes? that seems to be the SOP for that crowd of "bigwigs" and "prominent people".

I owed a few hundred when I did last year's taxes, how much you want to bet they would come after me with a far greater intensity than the companies who owe the $220 million? I doubt I'd get a bailout, I'm probably not too big to fail in their opinion.

Tell me again, which party is looking out for the little guy and who's in the tank for the giant corporations?

Barack Obama picked North Carolina to defeat Louisville for the NCAA championship, a relatively safe selection for a trailblazing president.

Obama spent part of Tuesday making his tournament picks for ESPN, which posted his completed bracket online Wednesday and showed the First Fan filling it out with Andy Katz on the noon edition of “Sportscenter.”

Failure to pay taxes? Hmmmm...it fits a certain pattern, does it not?

Speaking of tax payments, I haven't seen nor heard anyone address property tax payments that are owed by those poor, unfortunate (and ignorant), in mortgage foreclosure. How much more is owed to the various state governments by these "oppressed" homeowners?

In California, unless you are protected (more or less) by Proposition 13, your property tax billed by the state is onerous. Even with Prop 13, my property has doubled since it passed, but I still pay it on time.

Does bailing out those in foreclosure exonerate them from paying their fair share of state property tax, or will the elected representatives hand out yet another perk at taxpayer (those of use who actually pay their taxes on time) expense, and waive said taxes in order to save the homeowner?

On his show today, Rush said he hoped those who got the bonuses and are now being targeted by Congress ALL voted for Obama, so they can see first hand what they have done! I kinda doubt that people in that income bracket voted for Obama, but maybe a few of them did.
