    If the Republicans want to be useful….Ask Black Athletes to return ALL of their Salary and Signing Bonuses (since most give nothing back to their communities) or Demand ALL HOLLYWOOD Salaries must be $0.00/Yr, since they really don’t work for a living.

    I don’t see how voting for the 90% tax on the bonuses will slow the corporate bailouts. It was Congress who agreed to exempt bonuses in the bailout in the first place. The way to stop the bailouts is to vote against them each and every time. They may not win but they will let their constituents know where they stand.

    Cantor was actually on the short or long list as a possible running mate for McCain. He only could have helped in VA, and likely FL considering his faith.     Because, the Dem & Rube-ician parties are currently both controlled by and follow the tenents of the Progressive Movement.

    If you read about the aim of that movement and its goals you’ll see that not only is HRC a Progressive — as she claims to be — so is McCain and ob and about 2/3rds the rest of both houses.

This is true in the case of JP Morgan Chase. Because they purchased Bear Stearns and Washington Mutual, Chase was required by the writing of the original bailout to take a portion of the funds.

    They’re also on track to pay it off within five years–BECAUSE they didn’t need it. So I really don’t want to hear any of the Democraps wailing and moaning about Chase buying jets or hangar space. They’re one of the few companies that DIDN’T help run the industry into the ground.

    They earned this bonus by making the decision to stay. They risked having to get in the back of the line for other jobs, etc. Now they are told, just kidding, you can’t get the bonus. Ha Ha!

    Now I hear these were executive bonuses paid to reward failure. Is that the truth or more of team Obama’s propaganda lies?

    People got all up in arms over “bonuses” paid but what is the real truth here? This isn’t the USSR yet. Can I get the facts please so I can make an intelligent decision, not a bandwagon decision based on populist propaganda?
