He can’t be all bad. Long time public servant. He even got reelected after being on tape turning down a bribe because it wasn’t enough money & after calling his constituents derogatory names.

Must just be getting bad press from the vast right wing attack machine. The folks he reps for seem to really like him. We do assume the vote was valid.

Maybe people really do like pork after all. Kinda like your brother being a thief. He brings home stolen tv’s and stereos and we get to eat steak. Why turn him in when he is giving us money? Ditto for Ted Kennedy and his “voters”.

I’m waiting for the Pentagon to give Benedict Arnold posthumous award for patriotism. It’s sure to come.Seriously, I said a long time ago that Murtha should have been recalled to active duty and then court martialed for treason.

I read this yesterday and needed the night to cool my jets. What can I say except, that the Navy , once again, has shown why the Marine Corps is, in fact, a department of the Navy…. the Men’s department. At least as far as the General Staff is concerned. This is bilge of the slimiest nature. To my comrades who are jarheads and swabbies…. I share the pain, anger and feeling that who ever made this decision lost a circle jerk around a cracker. Sorry, I’m still steamed.

After reading this I felt a tear in the fabric of Space. I know the Secretary of the Navy is really Que playing stupid liberal games. Then there is reality. This asinine middle finger to people who really make the system work is just as bad as Kerry, (he was in vietnam you know), and his de facto request for awards.
It is just what I expect from the me administration

Just like Hollywood, these people pass awards and pats on the back to each other for political reasons and mutual admiration. It’s insulting to service people everywhere, but they don’t care in Washington. Corrupt governments have always done this…pass “awards” around the table.
