    I answered the phone the other day at work, it was a recording wanting me to stay on the line if I needed help with my mortgage. I realized it was a computer generated calling list, but most important, I realized this is one of those “new jobs” obama’s porkulus bill created!

    I, too, was curious about what the presidential campaigns were doing, and saying, so I set up accounts at their sites to learn more. I get solicitations for contributions from all over the place. I delete them.

    Next time I will set up a separate dummy account, and then after the campaign is over, I will delete that account.

    Missouri Lt. Governor Peter Kinder called Wednesday for Britt [public safety director] to be put on immediate administrative leave while the report is investigated. He supported calls for the director to be subpoenaed by the Missouri legislature to answer questions about it.

    ALIPAC (Americans for Legal Immigration) is issuing a national advisory to all local, state, and Federal law enforcement agencies and officers, along with all DHS Fusion Centers, a warning against any reliance upon faulty and politicized research issued by the Southern Poverty Law Center (SPLC) and Anti Defamation League (ADL).

    “In the past, these groups have served a helpful role in America by providing information about racist and potentially violent groups like the KKK and Neo Nazis,” said William Gheen. “Unfortunately, their mission has drifted into political efforts to paint almost any American or group who opposes their broader political agendas as being associated with racist or potentially violent groups just like what we saw in these scandalous MIAC documents in Missouri.”

    I knew that, which is why I said as much in my post. What bothers me is who this came from, “us” in effect, Homeland Security, and that it was luckily caught and stopped…how much ISNT? It concerns me how this wide brush will paint anyone “other” as a terrorist. Being “other” is what America was built on.

    I can think of 3 reasons why the Democrats are anxious to spend Trillions of dollars, and none of them have much to do with helping the economy.

    A: To reward Democratic supporters with tax dollars and buy the vote of future supporters (as stated above.)

    B: To show “good intentions” (actual results don’t matter.) This is useful in swaying some compassionate republicans and independents to vote for them because of their “promise” to help the poor, fund schools, etc.

    C: To grow the size and power of government. This allows them to accomplish both A and B on a more permanent basis.

    Sadly, many Trillions in spending will never make it to the proposed recipients. New government bureaucracies setup to oversee stimulus payments and regulate the recipients will syphon off much of the money. (Someone has to check the names to make sure those receiving stimulus handouts are also on the list of Democratic donors, don’t they?)

    Exactly what world were these Liberals living on for the last decade? I read these types of things and hear all these claims of how they have returned such and such and am left wondering just what has gone on inside their imaginations, because none of what they claim is even close to reality.

    Seriously, is there anything more ridiculous that listening to a Liberal give their version of reality?

    If we get through the next 4 years with this country in one piece and without having smoking rubble left where some of our greatest cities now reside I will truly be surprised.
