How do you like it when someone deliberately misspells or mispronounces your name?

If you don’t know Him well enough to say His name correctly, you might start by repenting of your sins and calling on the Lord Jesus for the forgiveness of those sins. Believe in your heart that Christ died for those sins and that GOD raised Him from the dead on the third day and HE promises to forgive you.

Get to know Him before you try to use one of His Names. What an insult

Hey simcoe… you really may want to calm down and educate yourself on what Judaism teaches about writing (and later defacing) the Lord’s name. Seriously.

If you read the Torah, you almost never see the name of God. In fact, even when God says His Name to Moses on Mount Sinai, the text says “Lord” (Adonai) rather than God (YHWH) (Ex 33:14). Tracing those texts that do use God, vs. those that do not, is one of the tools of Source Criticism of the Pentateuch.

There are some people who, out of honor for the Jewish tradition, do not spell out the Name above all Names. That may not be your practice, but it is theirs. Out of reverence to the Name of Jesus, I bow my head every time I say it, or hear it. This may not be your practice, but it is mine, as it is of most Catholics who were formed before the mid-sixties, and I’m sure of many since. Please respect the way we choose to honor the Creator of All.

Part II: The reason I bring it up is because I see these kinds of comments appearing regularly from the Global Warming crowd which reveals a very ugly side of what they are about. Who decides how many people is too much and worse, who deserves to live?

The next time the Pope refers to the Western culture of death, take the time to actually read his (and Pope John Paul II’s) statements and try to understand the point. If a “New Age” guru or the Dali Lamai was saying the same thing, someone would make a movie about it.

Suddenly, life is cheap again.

Happyscrapper, the answer to your question is that the Bill Ayers of the world have taken over the colleges of education and have turned out two-decades’ or more worth of teachers who are indoctrinated in the Leftish arts, but otherwise are ignorant, have no critical thinking skills and in some cases are borderline illiterate. That is who is teaching our children in the public schools.

Why would the MSM cover this, when it is an admittedly small group, led by a British student?

Either way, good luck and well wishes to them–G20 protestors are (aside from often being stupid) often not exactly nonviolent. It takes a lot of courage and conviction to do what these guys are doing.
