“Yet over at Jezebel, blogger Tabitha loves the spread, and expresses regret that it wouldn’t be possible in the U.S. because of the puritanical nature of our society.”

“Jill, over at the blog Feministe, concurs with Tabitha, and there’s some debate in the comments to her post.”

That second part was all I needed to know – Feministe is one of the most hate-filled, wound-tight places in the ‘verse.

    Want to see a flame-storm?
Go there and announce that you’re either male, or a female that doesn’t hate males, or a female that doesn’t loathe traditional American values – and keep your extinguisher handy.

Selfishness born of moral relativistic Post Modernism. Did I say selfish? Save our country, Lord. Please.

I see a very strong reminder that “trailer trash” isn’t a socioeconomic status, it’s an attitude.

A million times D.I.T.T.O. on what Happyscraper and MNUSMCDavid said. Though my youth was during the 60s, it was still a gentler time and like David, I was out the door in the morning and didn’t show back up until it was lunch time or dinner. What a wonderful place this was back then.

Sort of a stupid set of images, I guess. No doubt an artist trying to be provocative. Artists love to be provocative. FWIW, I have no problem with smoking. I also have no problem with mothers smoking, or with pregnant women smoking. I don’t like to see women throwing babies, though. That’s a bit crazy.

Before you get all packed off about pregnant women smoking, I know it is a bit risky, but I don’t think a pregnant woman smoking is a death sentence for the baby. I have seen too many healthy kids born to smoking mothers to be convinced of that.

That’s my story. I’ll stick to it. Until I’m talked out if it.
