It really doesn't matter who said this, just that it was said.
From a lady on one of our many daytime "News and Views" shows. This regarding another Obama appointee (Sebelius) who don't pay all their taxes--"does anyone really care?"
Kind of a "what else is new now lets get on with the show" attitude.
This blasé "who cares" goes to show just how far the MSM has gone into the Obama "tank".
Overt Criminal behavior is "so what"

"how did this baby killer supporter..." refer to Tiller The Baby Killer...and he gets acquitted of killing babies...maybe Kansas isn't so red after all.
Really can't be too surprised by a juries verdict anymore, just look who the "people" voted in as POTUS.

Hi Happy2B

Didn't take it personnaly, I pay WAY TOO MUCH in Taxes. Resistance is honorable, Evasion is a different issue.

Our Spineless society will never remove the oppressive yoke that we have been deceived throughout relatively recent history to accept. The entire premise of the concept of a gradual income tax is antithetical to the concept of Freedom.

If noone has the courage to challange the crooks, we are doomed to see through, to it's fruition, the failure of the "American Experiment" I am a big proponnent of the Fair Tax, what the GOP has on the table for the Obammasiah at the moment comes close.

On April 2nd, 2009 at 9:00 am, iamsaved said:
Colloquialisms like “The fox is guarding the henhouse” or “The inmates are running the asylum” sound appropos for this liberal administration and congress.

Two little adjustments make this the perfect quote: "The thugs running the hood."

Taxes = brain damage
Not paying Taxes = worse brain damage, more costly than paying the darn taxes to begin with.

I no longer prepare returns. Have not since I left years ago to work at my husband's business to do the bills, payroll, etc. And I agree with you, payroll taxes are a you-know-what. And like you, we pay all taxes because it's the law and because I want to keep the "mafia" out of my life.

Yes, many people dont pay taxes. The problem is, once the IRS catches up to the nontaxpayer - and they often do - the problems they can cause are NEVER worth the few bucks temporarily avoided.

Even Sebelius might agree with that.

Not only does Kathleen Sebelius politicize simple health issues, she politicizes disaster relief. When tornadoes devastated her state, she went after George Bush saying that she couldn't get any help because the National Guard were all in Iraq. The Kansas National Guard said that they hadn't yet even been asked for help, and that they had more than plenty resources at their disposal.

Sorry Gus - I did not mean to insinuate that YOU were not paying taxes, I was speaking generally.

And I should clarify the statement I made earlier - Anyone on this site who advocates the crime of tax evasion should be kicked off. That should make some of the tax resisters feel better.

I dont think Sebelius is a tax resister. My guess is, that like several Obabma nominees, who felt the rules did not apply to them, she just didn't pay up until she had to. Good role models dont you think?

It's simple, if a very large number of people do not file their income tax..the gobment can't do a whole lot about it. It's getting the numbers to do it that's always been the trick. We are all too scared to do it. I for one am all for it, especially when we pay a huge amount in just payroll taxes and it's not additional taxes, or penalties - that's just out of our payroll. The people who would suffer are those who prepare tax returns, like happy2behere maybe.
