   Yes. In the end, justice will prevail. As hate-worthy as our enemies are, we must pray for their souls to be saved …that they would turn to goodness. We must do everything in our power, God strengthening and guiding us, to oppose their works, but also we must pray for them …that they would be on the side of truth and righteousness when that final gavel falls.

   As hard as I am on lgm, I pray this even for him. He is a Jew and thinks Christians hate the Jews. Yet without the Jew, Christians have no hope, for we were “grafted into their tree” and they are our “root” (Romans 11:17) and “salvation is from the Jews” John 4:22. I pray that this truth penetrates his mind and soul to bring him to salvation.

    There is no way he will be allowed to “squeal”. All the cover-ups to get Obama to the White House were the result of a very careful and well-funded operation. Do you think these people will allow one man to destroy The One?? Not going to happen. Blago will somehow choke on a hairball or something…just wait. No one is going to be allowed to ruin the coup taking place in DC today. And human life is expendable…mark my words, and remember Vince Foster, et al.

    I know it’s easy to see Chicago politics as one big liberal machine, but there’s enough in-fighting within the Democratic party here that it’s more like two or three groups.

    Consider this, in most other cases where a Democratic official finds himself in trouble, the Democrats circle the wagons and defend on all fronts. Not so in Blago’s case (and perhaps this is the real reason he’s so fired up).

    Obama and Emanuel come from an opposing faction to Blagojevich. In fact, I believe Rahm was the one that likely tipped off the Feds. Blago’s got nothing on Obama. If he did, we would have heard about it by now since he’s made just about every television appearance he can.

    Heck, Blago’s so isolated from the liberal faction, even lgm won’t defend him by trying to find a Republican he thinks is worse than him.

    Good point, Salt. And you are probably right. If Blago had anything on Obama, they would have made sure, one way or another, that he never talked. The dems are very good at “discrediting” someone they want gone. Their trashing machine is very effective. By the time they were done with Blago, he would have gladly faded into the woodwork. Since that didn’t happen, he probably knows nothing.
