Obama Census Plan: No Illegal Alien Left Behind
My column today spotlights the radical re-shaping of the electoral landscape by the Obama and Company census conspirators. The immediate agenda of the left-wing census volunteer groups: freezing immigration raids. The long-term goal: Exploiting the massive population of illegal aliens to redraw the political map and secure a permanent ruling majority.
As I’ve long argued, shamnesty as the letter of the law and shamnesty in spirit endanger us in bottomless ways. The very policies of non-enforcement that are suicide for the Republican Party are the very policies of non-enforcement that led to 9/11 and needless deaths across the country thanks to catch-and-release/sanctuary/the deportation abyss. Yesterday in the House, open-borders activists attacked Arizona Sheriff Joe Arpaio for his staunch commitment to enforcing immigration laws. Ray Tranchant testified for the minority. Attention, GOP: Public relations campaigns aren’t going to solve the problem.

Obama Census Plan: No Illegal Alien Left Behind
I have seen the electoral future, and it is rigged. With fraud-prone, ideologically-driven interest groups swarming the census-gathering process, the Left is solidifying its chances of a permanent ruling majority. Lax immigration enforcement is the not-so-secret key to the Democrats’ power grab. And the Obama administration is all too happy to aid and abet.
At a meeting to mobilize volunteer trainees assisting with the decennial national head count, Commerce Secretary Gary Locke encouraged the government’s partners to spread the word that privacy rights of census-takers would not be violated and that accuracy and fairness would be ensured. Locke assured the activists: “We all recognize what is at stake.”
But do you?
The volunteer groups Commerce Secretary Locke is entrusting to protect accuracy and fairness include the race racketeers and voter registration con artists of tax-subsidized ACORN, the amnesty activists of Voto Latino, and the labor mobsters of the SEIU. The fate of $300 billion in federal funding – and, most importantly, the apportionment of Congressional seats – rest in their hands.
As for “privacy rights,” it’s not your privacy rights they care about. It’s the privacy rights of millions of illegal aliens whose advocates have enshrined for them a sacred right never to be questioned about their immigration status. Obama’s census partners are using the process to pressure homeland security agents to halt interior enforcement efforts and workplace raids so that illegal alien cooperation with the national survey is maximized. Inclusion of the massive illegal alien population has resulted in a radical redrawing of the electoral map.
The Census is used to divvy up seats in the House as a proportion of their population based on the head count. More people equals more seats. More illegal immigrants counted equals more power. This is not hypothetical. The Center for Immigration Studies determined that in the 2000 election cycle, the presence of non-citizens (including illegal immigrants, temporary visitors, and green-card holders) caused nine seats in the House to switch hands. As the think tank’s analysis reported: California added six seats it would not have had otherwise. Texas, New York, and Florida each gained a seat. Indiana, Michigan, Mississippi, Oklahoma, Pennsylvania, and Wisconsin each lost a seat. Montana, Kentucky, and Utah each failed to secure a seat they would otherwise have gained.
Translation in plain English: Open borders have profound consequences. And they don’t end with congressional apportionment. The redistribution of power extends to presidential elections because the Electoral College is pegged to the size of congressional delegations.
Under the Carter administration, the men and women who enforce our immigration laws were ordered not to do their jobs during the census count; non-enforcement was the unspoken policy during the Clinton administration in 2000. The policy, in other words, was to put political interests above security interests and leave No Illegal Alien Left Behind. The Obama Department of Homeland Security is already continuing the tradition – reversing the work of investigative agents who have uncovered massive document fraud at illegal alien worksites and cutting immigration and customs enforcement operations at the knees.
During the eight years of the Bush administration, groups such as ACORN received millions of dollars in subsidies for their racial and corporate shakedown activities. The pro-amnesty faction of the GOP pandered to unions such as the SEIU and ethnic lobbying groups such as Voto Latino seeking to boost their membership rolls.
Now, Republicans can only stand by helplessly while the political opponents they helped fund use the census to help wipe them off the electoral map. You reap what you sow.

In 2000 I did not return my card. A census worker came to my door. I was not home so she asked my neighbor how many people lived in my house.

Yes, that will happen. But that’s not door-to-door canvassing — that’s follow-up targeted on those who don’t respond.
And, in fact, this is what conservatives would prefer over “sampling”: statistically, your neighbor’s head count is more accurate than some “average” debated amongst bureaucrats and politicians.
I repeat: the Census is not interested in your legal/illegal status : they’re
charged with head count, nothing more.
It’s always been that way, and if anyone thinks it’s a new Obama/Rahm thing to ignore immigration status, they’re mistaken.

I have read these posts for quite a while, and I agree with most.
I will be certainly chastised or banned for what I say.
The thrust of Michelle’s arguments or blogs or posts or whatever, and the responses I read here, seem to me like pissing in the wind.
I realize that a lot of people who post here think they are possibly changing something by posting here. And Michelle does as well.
I really think that the only way to change the way the country is working and going right now is to start killing some of the people that are directing that working and going. They are beyond convincing with rational arguments. And we have put them in charge of our government.

I was in the Chicago area for the 2000 census. My town believed that the population was undercounted and did its own census to challenge the gov numbers. When the gov does anything, it does a half-a$$ed job.

I am talking about political philosophy nit-picking by using “purity of principles” as a great excuse not to help plug the hole in the dike. Even jungle law states that you take the lesser of two evils to survive, to hell with how it philosophically rubs you. It is insane to invest all your desires in voting into one single issue basket as abortion or gun control and sorely walk away because the nominee wasn’t that committed to singing your song because you’ll just end up losing in the long run, just like what’s happening now. I was/am a deep wool Thompson guy, but I was willing to hold my nose and pull the lever for McCain because we’d AT LEAST have a weak party lease to tug on; we’ve ZERO influence in the White House now. As bad as McCain was/is, he ISN’T an Obama clone and we had a chance of holding the fort then till 2012, but I put no stake in our chances now, The Dems mean to squash conservatism in this country and this time the nanny state pushers can get away with chopping the pendulum forever. So I REALLY don’t want to hear about purity of principles and counting how many angels could dance on the head of a political philosophical pin anymore. We had a last stand last November and lost royally. I suggest true Conservatives start creating gated communities/counties to keep back the tide of lib American influences after your kids and wallets — and try to not let single issues stop you.

fgmorley, I think you make some very valid points.
But you are a little ahead of the curve. Now is the time for ~preparation~; now is ~not~ the time for action.
You are very, very badly mistaken to start criticizing MM. The cause requires some savy as much as it needs people willing to do their fighting in a literal way. The simple reality is that people who feel as you do simply do not remotely have the strength of numbers and resources to mount a meaningful opposition. Don’t be a Timothy McVeigh, putting your energy into a misguided lashing out that hurts many innocent people and actually harms the causes that you espouse. This is not the time to show our teeth in a military way.
MM is a fantastically powerful voice in awakening the sheeple. There is no more important task, at the present moment, than building a mass movement of opposition.
The time may come to put everything on the line against the people bashing our culture and stealing our country. But in that struggle, we will need numbers.
Now is a good time to prepare for the worst, to stockpile the things that might be needed. But we must appeal to people to who do not yet quite appreciate the magnitude of the threat. That is exactly what MM does everyday. You alienate potential converts by springing too soon.
I think any talk of armed conflict is extremely counter-productive. Ignatius is correct. You will alienate way too many people. Plus, it is not necessary. The left won without a shot. The war is not over and we can win the country back without a shot as well.

I agree with your main thoughts, that we should be stockpiling. But I believe the fact is that most people who do not realize the magnitude of the threat, do not read these blogs. And the MSM is never going to inform them.
The MSM is the problem. Your children’s teacher is the problem. You Mayor is the problem. Your Senator is the problem. Your Representative is problem. Your POTUS is the problem. You, sir, or madam, are surrounded by people, and dictated to by people, that are AGAINST your best (or chosen) interests.
They want to take away your liberty to choose which car you buy (if you could afford to do that), which school you or your children attend, which doctor you might be able to pay for, which color you paint you paint your house (this might be happening to you already), which light bulb you use, which place you live, which fuel you buy, which food you eat, which street you take, which fly you swat, etc.

Folks, there is an old original Star Trek episode where this entity comes on board the Enterprise and sets free captive Klingons so they and the Enterprise crew fight. The entity does everything it can to heighten emotion and discord, because it feeds off the hate and emotions.
In the end Spock (of course) figures out what’s going on and ultimately both Klingons and Fedration crewmen stop fighting and decide what they are doing is destructive.

This Census issue is so very serious!!! We all are focused on all other stuff and this one will be slipped in. Please everyone make sure the Census is done right.
In Nazis Germany all issues where thrown at the people all at once and before they knew what was what many items were law. Obama and the Democrats are following this practice. Thanks to Michelle and others the word is getting out.
Allowing ACORN and other lib groups to do this is also a way they can track voter registration drives. People again this issue is what all need to focus on..let Obama do his world tour…get this issue out to all your Tea Parties and blogs. The GOP are sitting on their hands about this issue.
