Obama Census Plan: No Illegal Alien Left Behind
My column today spotlights the radical re-shaping of the electoral landscape by the Obama and Company census conspirators. The immediate agenda of the left-wing census volunteer groups: freezing immigration raids. The long-term goal: Exploiting the massive population of illegal aliens to redraw the political map and secure a permanent ruling majority.
As I’ve long argued, shamnesty as the letter of the law and shamnesty in spirit endanger us in bottomless ways. The very policies of non-enforcement that are suicide for the Republican Party are the very policies of non-enforcement that led to 9/11 and needless deaths across the country thanks to catch-and-release/sanctuary/the deportation abyss. Yesterday in the House, open-borders activists attacked Arizona Sheriff Joe Arpaio for his staunch commitment to enforcing immigration laws. Ray Tranchant testified for the minority. Attention, GOP: Public relations campaigns aren’t going to solve the problem.

Obama Census Plan: No Illegal Alien Left Behind
I have seen the electoral future, and it is rigged. With fraud-prone, ideologically-driven interest groups swarming the census-gathering process, the Left is solidifying its chances of a permanent ruling majority. Lax immigration enforcement is the not-so-secret key to the Democrats’ power grab. And the Obama administration is all too happy to aid and abet.
At a meeting to mobilize volunteer trainees assisting with the decennial national head count, Commerce Secretary Gary Locke encouraged the government’s partners to spread the word that privacy rights of census-takers would not be violated and that accuracy and fairness would be ensured. Locke assured the activists: “We all recognize what is at stake.”
But do you?
The volunteer groups Commerce Secretary Locke is entrusting to protect accuracy and fairness include the race racketeers and voter registration con artists of tax-subsidized ACORN, the amnesty activists of Voto Latino, and the labor mobsters of the SEIU. The fate of $300 billion in federal funding – and, most importantly, the apportionment of Congressional seats – rest in their hands.
As for “privacy rights,” it’s not your privacy rights they care about. It’s the privacy rights of millions of illegal aliens whose advocates have enshrined for them a sacred right never to be questioned about their immigration status. Obama’s census partners are using the process to pressure homeland security agents to halt interior enforcement efforts and workplace raids so that illegal alien cooperation with the national survey is maximized. Inclusion of the massive illegal alien population has resulted in a radical redrawing of the electoral map.
The Census is used to divvy up seats in the House as a proportion of their population based on the head count. More people equals more seats. More illegal immigrants counted equals more power. This is not hypothetical. The Center for Immigration Studies determined that in the 2000 election cycle, the presence of non-citizens (including illegal immigrants, temporary visitors, and green-card holders) caused nine seats in the House to switch hands. As the think tank’s analysis reported: California added six seats it would not have had otherwise. Texas, New York, and Florida each gained a seat. Indiana, Michigan, Mississippi, Oklahoma, Pennsylvania, and Wisconsin each lost a seat. Montana, Kentucky, and Utah each failed to secure a seat they would otherwise have gained.
Translation in plain English: Open borders have profound consequences. And they don’t end with congressional apportionment. The redistribution of power extends to presidential elections because the Electoral College is pegged to the size of congressional delegations.
Under the Carter administration, the men and women who enforce our immigration laws were ordered not to do their jobs during the census count; non-enforcement was the unspoken policy during the Clinton administration in 2000. The policy, in other words, was to put political interests above security interests and leave No Illegal Alien Left Behind. The Obama Department of Homeland Security is already continuing the tradition – reversing the work of investigative agents who have uncovered massive document fraud at illegal alien worksites and cutting immigration and customs enforcement operations at the knees.
During the eight years of the Bush administration, groups such as ACORN received millions of dollars in subsidies for their racial and corporate shakedown activities. The pro-amnesty faction of the GOP pandered to unions such as the SEIU and ethnic lobbying groups such as Voto Latino seeking to boost their membership rolls.
Now, Republicans can only stand by helplessly while the political opponents they helped fund use the census to help wipe them off the electoral map. You reap what you sow.

When amnesty passes, and with ACORN conducting counts for the census, it will spell the end of a two party system, and the end of this country as we once knew it.
Coming from Chicago I warned people. The Democrats intend to take over the country PERMANENTLY. They even said so back in October. They can do it without firing a shot.
Now with both houses and the president they will guarentee that they get the votes. Republicans like Bush and McCain have willingly enabled this with the open borders and shamnesty pitch.
Now it is about stealing votes and patronage jobs just like Chicago. It is about intimidating disenters with lawyers and police just like Chicago. It is about graft and alliances with crime and gangs just like Chicago.
And the Republicans just slept-walked right through the election.
We the People of the United States of America have the right to have our borders and our laws respected and enforced.
Citizens of other countries illegally in our country have no right to demand anything from our government. They most certainly have the right to petition the governments of their home countries for change if they are unhappy with their home country. If they want to be Americans, we have a path to citizenship, more generous than any other nation, and it starts in their home country.
We need to insist on the equal protection, application and enforcement of the law or devolve into anarchy. Our Republic only functions if everyone follows the same rules. We should not change the laws to accomodate those breaking them.
If America annouces to the world “We can’t stop you, so come on in” with another amnesty, the deluge will be overwhelming. If 3,000 a day didn’t get your attention, then wait until it’s 10,000 a day. We cannot sustain this influx and survive as a nation. We must speak up and speak to each other about this and not let false claims of racism or bigotry be used to intimidate us into silent assent. America is not Congress’ to give away. America belongs to We the People. Speak to your neighbors, speak to your coworkers, but please speak up to your Congressmen and Senators. It’s O.K. for us to enforce our laws, no really, it is.

Yes we can:
Ignore your laws.
Enter your country any time we feel like it.
Collect benefits to which we are not entitled.
Tell you what your immigration policies should be.
File thousands of lawsuits to prevent you from enforcing your laws.
Vote in your elections fradulently.
Take your country.
My question is, can we take it back the same way? I’m beginning to think not.
I think they will fail. IT will be a painful period however. Socialism does not work. We will see bartering and black markets take over. Intimidation will only work for a while. The Democrats will eventually die as a party as they have over-reached.
We must expose this illegal, unconstitutional activity.
BHO swore to uphold the US Constitution. If he proceeds with this plan, he must be impeached, but the socialists will not vote for it. The only other course available might be the civil disobedience that the Civil Rights movement took back in the 60s.
This action would dissolve our nation.
We should just move to Mexico. That way, when all the illegals are gone to America with their socialist government, we can fix up what they left behind and have our country back.
I used to want to stay and fight for my country, but it seems I’m becoming more of a minority every day, and now it just seems like an exercise in futility.

This country us under attack from Democrats and Liberals. They are selling us out for their own gain.
My Congressman and Senators are complicit in this crime. They could care less what happens to the USA so long as they live large until they kick the bucket.
So what can we do? Clinging to the hope that Dems will see the light is a waste of time. They won’t.
In the issue of immigration there is hardly a dime’s worth of difference between the GOP and the Stalinists.
It will take MASSIVE action by citizens of this nation to prevent this farce from passing during this congress.
And don’t think for a minute we can count on any particular GOP Senator this time around. Enough of them have PROVEN they can be bought at a treasonably low price.
If this liberal tsunami isn’t curbed, it’s going to take civil disobedience to get things changed. Although not civil disobedience, the tea parties are a good start but the drones in congress and the MSM will ignore them totally.
Writing or calling your congressman and woman is a waste of time. You are either preaching to the choir or they turn a deaf ear to your comments and complaints if they are a Democrat. There’s no such thing as a moderate Democrat anymore. They walk in lock step with the fuhrer and his brown shirts or they are marginalized to the point of total ineffectiveness.

Growing up in the UK during the 60’s and 70’s, I see so many parallels that are happening here in the US. Strong Unions, lax immigration policies, huge entitlement benefits[which lured immigrants from Pakistan and India]. All this led to crippling unemployment during the mid 70’s and a collapsing of public services. All this happened under the watch of the Labour Party and a squishy Conservative party. Then along came Margaret Thatcher and the rest is history. The damage that was done,though, is what we see in the UK today.
The party of treason is selling out America for power. Can they possibly be any more morally bankrupt? Can they possibly be any more traitorous? They rule on high like a special royal class, while they leave the struggling working class of this Country to brave a mosh pit of illegal immigrants, stealing American jobs, and stealing the benefits of being American citizens. The Founding Fathers spin in their graves.
This is the NUMBER ONE issue for Republicans/Conservatives, no matter what single-issue mindset/political philosophy you hold. If you’re shut out of the game you can’t change any rules. Unfortunately too many still just don’t get it! Worst, it may already be too late. The Single-Issue Stay-at-Home Conservative voter’s inflexibility is now coming home to roost in spades. Conservatives might as well live in Balkanized communities to preserve our traditions from a corruptive socialized mindset “mainstream.”

Perhaps it’s time to infiltrate these groups in an effort to disrupt them and ultimately dismantle them.
That will take people and money.
The point of the census is to ensure citizens and voters have the proper representation in the government.
Now the original Census count in the Constitution did not state if you had to be a US citzen or not.

The 15th Amendment and 19th Amendment changed this to include all races and women.
Now there are 2 counts the Census is doing, total number of people and total number of people able to LEGALLY VOTE to determine the number of House of Representatives for the area.
You have to be a Citizen of the US or NOT commit CRIMES that deny you the ability to vote to be counted by the census for purposes of determining representatives in Congress.
If the Census is not verifying as this information as required by the Constitution, then the count they are doing is illegal.
They used to be called democrats.
I remember when I was a kid in the 50’s the Russian communists said they would take us over without firing a shot. It seems they have had plenty of help from our political parties. I guess the Russians saved that bullet after all.

Bullseye. I don’t know if my daughter should be learning Spanish, Mandarin Chinese, or Bisaya. I will do all i can to fight this, but i assure you that if amnesty is granted we are out of here and learning Bisaya. If i am going to be a minority in a stange land, should might as well be where they still love Americans and land on the beach is still cheap. Philippines, here we come.

I’m with you but in order to do that we either need help from the leadership we have or elect a leadership that will stand up for America. Being the pessimist that I am, I dont see either happening. I think the people now are too happy being “led and fed” by the nanny state.
I also think, just my opinion, that the reason the Bush government and the Obama government ran to bailout the failing banks is because they know a complete financial collapse might lead to revolution and rebellion and they wanted to save their phony baloney jobs.
That, and they havent been able to disarm the American people, not through lack of trying.
I have seen this number a few times lately. As alarming as it is, what is even worse is that Dems consider this progress and are proud that more people in need are getting help blah, blah blah…
The business interests/WSJ branch of the Republican party has signed it’s own death warrant with it’s refusal to support immigration enforcement and are as bad or worse than the Democrats. The demographics of this country are changing fast and they will overwhelm the country club Republicans soon.
Over the past 10 years we have imported a third world nation into our midst and they are reproducing far more rapidly than any other segment of society. Even without amnesty, in another 10 years all those anchor babies will start to become legal voters, plus they will be allowed to petition to bring immediate family here. The economists that think we will return to prosperity later in 2010, 2111 or 2012 are kidding themselves and are either unaware as to what is happening on the streets or blinded by political correctness. As a first time father about two years ago and a second on the way I am witness to the flood of illegals in the clinics and hospitals. Some of these places are like assembly lines in their efficiency in signing up illegals for Medicaid, then WIC after the birth- no questions asked.
The tsunami that we are facing is unimaginable to the editors of WSJ and the Dems that think they are moving us toward a European style socialism. These people I can ask what do you think is more likely: a return to general prosperity or America sliding into a corrupt, chaotic state similar to Mexico or Russia? Unless we change our course fast, if that is even possible, I think it is the second.
Anyone recall another of his old jokes that goes something like:
“The Mexican government announced recently it is moving the Capital to Los Angeles in an effort to get closer to the people”. …20+ years on, it doesn’t even elicit a chuckle – at least from this poster.
I don’t doubt that they will hire the illegal aliens to do the census. As a reminder, an old saying goes “A country that fails to protect its borders ceases to be a country”. That is the goal of the democrats!
Then we do what we have to do to invalidate the entire Census. i for one am not providing the Census with any valid data.
The “Tea Party” rebellions don’t seem to be making much difference to this administration. However, a real rebellion might work.
Very well put. What you describe requires us (US) to examine not only our haphazard policy regarding illegal immigration, but also to reconsider our very generous LEGAL immigration policies. Some (protagonists) argue that to not continue to allow the large influx from Mexico/Central America is ‘racist’ (their words, not mine…), I actually argue the contrary. That is, in continuing to allow the present influx (eg. legal + illegals) into the country in the current proportions, it greatly discriminates against the much larger and POORER groups of people from Africa, Asia, the Middle East, etc. that otherwise might want to come to the
US. In short, the current policy IS discriminatory – but not to the people making the claim, and for very different reasons.
There is no mandate in our immigration laws that, in effect, says “70% of all ‘immigrants’ must be from the same Hemisphere” – it doesn’t exist folks.
…Numerical limits from specific regions I think would actually be a very productive and useful thing.
There is so much going wrong in this country at this moment in time that it is hard to keep track. The census debacle will make it much harder to elect pro-American legislators. The number of people on the dole will be above 50% ensuring a solid voting block for democrats. As a true pessimist, this cannot end well.
The question is, then what? There is no place else to go. Going John Galt is a great idea, but I don’t have a valley in Colorado to go to or a machine that gets energy from the air.
What are our REALISTIC options?
And please don’t say “a true American never gives up, you must fight, fight, fight!” Yeah, I know that. But while we are fighting under the current rules of engagement, what other strategy can we start?

The only way to combat this SHAM, is to do exactly what we did under the BUSH SHAMNESTY… Get mobilized… Get organized… The only thing different this time are the MAIN PLAYERS… Do not take them lightly, for they will be more organized this time… They ALL remember the catastrophe that was SHAMNESTY last time… They will be more prepared to launch SHAMNESTY… As much as we fought the last time, we must fight twice as hard this time…
I’m expecting them to find a way to make these gatherings illegal, calling them “inciting hate speech” or some such. They WILL be looking for a way to shut us up permanent.

The truth is that in the future, maybe the near future, Americans who are tired of seeing their Country disintegrate, tired of seeing us sold out by politicians, will start taking action, peaceful, and Im afraid, not peaceful. I truthfully see a civil war of some sort in the next 20-30 years if this continues. This Country is not a socialist country. It is a capitialist, individualistic and religious Country at its core, and many just will not stand and watch it become something else through rigged elections, and social engineering by Judges and politicians.

I don’t know what PLANET you live on but the GOP abandoned immigration enforcement well over 8 years ago. The last GOP president and the most recent GOP nominee were THE BIGGEST SUPPORTERS OF OPEN BORDERS IN THE COUNTRY!
The GOP has PROVEN they are NOT CONSERVATIVES! That is why so many of us cannot vote for them.
Had we elected McCain in 2008 he and the congress would be enacting the very same immigration changes that Obama and his buddies are planning on.

I hope you are right, but I think about 52% ARE socialist. As far as some sort of civil war, I am inclined to think that won’t happen. However, I am amazed at the people I have known for quite some time saying they think there will be a civil war to me completely out of the blue.
I don’t think most people have any idea of the momentous change that is happening in this country (present company excluded, of course). If you live in the suburbs or a more rural area, you get some clues to how big it is, but have no idea how immense it will be. As a former resident of the inner city of Los Angeles county, I can tell you our future is one of widespread illiteracy and danger.
In the next few years and thereafter, we are in for some unbelievable change in the demographics and districts in this nation.
Hate to be all negative, but I’m a realist. Most of us, including myself because I feel helpless to stop it, are truly fiddling while this Rome burns.

Not all of them fortunately. However Bush and McCain were and are. At least now there is a vast boiling over of conservative thought that may drive the quasi-republicans to the other party where they belong. Conservatives need to start by taking over the Republican party (since no 3rd Party is viable).

I believe that is because they, and the tens of millions like us, understand that we are witnessing a socialist coup by the Dems in Washington; a trojan horse of sorts, and know that at some near future time, there will be a tipping point, when Americans of like mind are going to say, “that’s it, you’re not doing this”. I strongly believe this.
I distrust ACORN as much as anyone.
But: the Census has never been involved in establishing the legal status of people present in the US. According to the Constitution the Census only enumerates “Persons”. (Article 1, Sec 2).
Laws have long been on the books preventing the Census Bureau from seeking to identifying the names and immigration status of those they count.
Census workers themselves are sworn not to reveal any confidential information they may obtain during their surveys or compilation of data. They are also subject to termination and fines for producing false data.
See Title 13, Secs 9, 141,193, 214, and 221.
Census workers have already begun walking routes to visually identify, confirm and list (on hand-held computers) places where people live or could live (such as empty apartments, or currently vacant houses) to create a master computerized census survey mailing list.
They are specically instructed not to ask for anyone’s name or status. This has always been the case.
If they visit an apartment building to determine how many living quarters it holds, they are not allowed to accept any list that contain occupants’ names.
The living quarters’ locations are each physically located and recorded via a GPS link, which ought to minimize false addresses. The USPS will deliver surveys only to those addresses on the master survey list.
If a lister enters a false address and GPS location, and if it is discovered by the QC Control people, he will lose his job, for starters.
For false listings to remain in the database, it would require the collusion of ACORN people on the street, the database team, the QC people, and the Post Office. I’m not saying it can’t be done, but messing with the computerized data on a large scale would require a big conspiracy.
I know personally that the Bureau is aware that people worry about it being politically infected. I also know they feel the confirmable GPS address maps and QC processes will allow them to minimize false entries.
Myself I would worry more about ACORN people quietly encouraging people to “pad” their census surveys when they arrive in the mail (months from now). Add a couple of persons here, a couple there, several thousand times and you could influence some outcomes.
But they can do that now with citizens, not illegals. Illegals likely will not want to fill out any form they think might lead the federales to them.
Finally: the Census attempts physically to track down only those who do not respond to the mailed surveys. That’s a small percentage, and if it’s mainly illegals it’s going to be difficult and maybe dangerous to be knocking on their doors.
It’s not a job I’d want.

Urf urf. In point of fact, the states, not the federal government, set the size and composition of congressional districts. The feds set the number of districts based on the census headcount.
Massachusetts (where gerrymandering got its name and start) will likely lose another district, no matter what, because people have been leaving here in droves for less highly taxed, less corrupt regions. Admittedly, these are getting harder to find.
I know Spanish…it isn’t a difficult language to learn, but speaking to the poor uneducated immigrants in LA is like speaking the Queen’s English with the mountain people in northern Alabama. It’s pretty hilarious…Tower of Babel stuff.
Want to scare yourself? Check out birth rates in this country. Socialists from other countries care not one wit about the ideals and principles on which this country was founded.

The poll workers where I lived spoke Spanish and very little English. When someone came in, they were given the list and asked to pick out their name. You can have whatever name you want on election day!
Point taken full but, take California for example, the Feds will define the new number of districts and don’t you think those CA Knuckle Heads will dutifully redraw the districts?

When I was in the Navy, I always thought that I would have to fight against invaders trying to take over my country. I never thought that the invaders trying to take over would be my own government. Pretty soon I expect to see special entry/exit lanes at all borders of our country where illegal aliens may pass freely while U.S. citizens have to present identification and be screeened.

Having logged Federal civilian experience on more than one occasion, I can say that ANYONE getting fired for ANYTHING is fairly rare occurrence. Because someone said that is what is supposed to happen does not at all translate that is actually what will be done.
…Not to mention, that addresses are added and changed ALL THE TIME and that even the USPS can’t accurately keep up with those changes most of the time. If they don’t have the reference information by which to check, how would anyone else know there is a problem?

From what I understand, all the “listers” aka “enumerators” of census address survey data (the ones walking around collecting addresses and locations) are part-time employees, not civil service types.
They do, however, take an oath not to falsify or reveal data.
I also know they are told during training that if the QC people detect anything higher than a 3% error rate in your survey data…you’re gone.
I have said it many times and I’ll say it again.
There has already been a revolution in this country. The Federal Government stole our freedoms and destroyed the constitution.
Virtually NOTHING the government is doing today, or over the past 20 years, is constitutional. The major difference today is how blatantly the Feds disregard the constitution. At least 20 years ago they paid lip service to it.
The master address survey will be set in concrete: after the data are gathered and compiled, only those addresses will receive census forms, one to each unit.
Also, the enumerators’ hand-held computers already contain addresses (but not GPS info). The workers confirm existing addresses and the number of living quarters they contain, make changes where necessary, and get GPS locations via their hand-held computers for each address.
I suppose they could add bogus addresses, but adding fake apartment buildings with fake GPS info (the only way to really pump up numbers) would be hard to do.
The Census Bureau is aware of, and uses, Google Maps, after all…….
All in all, I would counsel vigilence, not utter cynicism . At least not yet!

A couple points:
* You shouldn’t blame Democrats and liberals for the large number of illegal aliens. They were encouraged mostly by the business wing of the Republican party as cheap labor.
* There is not a single incidence on record of an illegal vote being cast because of ACORN. Much of the fraud — phony registration cards — was highlighted by ACORN itself to prevent illegal registrations.
* Republicans have worked to create inaccurate census numbers by cutting funding for the census, particularly for door to door canvases. It’s not such a surprise that Democrats want to make it more accurate.

All imigration needs to be curbed dramatically to allow for assimilation. Our forefathers knew the dangers of allowing too many immigrants from the same country/region in a short period of time. Hence why immigration was always reduced/halted after 10 years or so of mass numbers. The current wave has been going on since 1965, and we see the impacts. But as TXGator pointed out, the sheer number of anchor babies, chain migration, and very high feritlity rates of immigrants already here has probably already pushed us past the tipping point (at least for the future). Our future is one of 3rd world squalor.
Finally, TXGator, I too am tired of idiots ignoring observable and provable facts just because it does not fit their PC view of the world. An example, here in Austin, there is some black event called the “Relay”. No idea what it is or what it celebrates but 1000’s gather at a mall in the end. Every year there are many incidents of fighting/theft/etc. The mall had to be forcibly closed by the police last year due the size of some brawls and violence. So the mall said it will close this year, the day of the celebration, to avoid the same problems and liablity (as wel as several other “hangouts” around town). Of course, it is being touted as racism. Completely ignoring history (aka facts). I am tired of the racist card. Call me what you want. But I will not stop “calling a spade a spade”. PC is a cancer.
Thanks for the informative post. As I understand the concern though, isn’t the specific threat increaseing electoral votes for liberal districts with population levels close to adding an elector? Seems this could be accomplished as you describe, in targeted areas, and pretty much under the radar.

Yep, that’s what could happen. But as I say, fiddling with the numbers would require many layers of conspiracy.
As for lgm’s claim that conservatives have sought to cut census bureau funding for “door to door canvases”: the Census Bureau no longer does that.
Read my frackin post, lgm — the only door-to-door canvassing carried out is to create an address database, which is used to create a mailing list, which allows the Census Bureau to reach “living quarters” of all kinds via the Post Office. People fill out the forms and mail them back.
No one is going door-to-door to count or interview people. In most cases dddress canvassers don’t even need to talk to occupants to determine the type of dwelling, and the units within it.
Hell, many homes are empty during the day! Often you can tell how many units are in a dwelling by counting mailboxes, fer instance.
