I’m with you, I won’t pay good money to watch liberals that hate America preform.

I have a personal boycott going against any of these left wingers, from actors, to stores to products and countries.
Income below the poverty line I cut my spending at Wal*mart down to only items I can’t find in a local store at a price I can’t afford. Wally’s doesn’t even sell in store or online Mark Levin’s new book Liberty & Tyranny. They have all of Odumbo’s books and other known libs, but not the #1 book on the N.Y, Times(the only articles worth looking at in times) best sellers list. To be fair they do sell Ann Coulter’s last book…yippeee.

Before you get too orgasmic over how mean and evil bankers are, maybe you should read this article and think about it for a bit.

You’re right, banks are not your friends – they’re businesses, they’re motivated by the desire to make a profit, and they perform a necessary and important role in a free society. Their absence would make you much more a slave to the state than we already are.

To disagree, I think the business model is antiquated. Today’s communications would allow for alternatives, like person-to-person arrangements, if the government would just get out of the way.

I have a friend in a former Soviet bloc country. Their language did not even have a word for “mortgage” until the bankers arrived to feed. They just paid cash, or made payments to the previous owner.

    So, I’ll say it-
I’m guessing that a rep from the dnc got himself all dolled up like a

Debt is not dumb, but too much of the wrong kind of debt is dumb. Without borrowing, you wouldn’t live in whatever house or apartment you live in, because I can guarantee you that whoever built it borrowed the money to do so.

Using the previous Soviet Union as an example is just precious, unless, of course, you think you’d actually like to live there.

As do I. But we are the exception, rather than the rule. There’s nothing inherently wrong with credit, whether it be a mortgage, car loan or credit card. The problem is the financial illiteracy of the average American (citizen or otherwise). But the point I was making was that the builder borrowed the money to complete the project, and paid back the loan when the project was finished and he got paid himself. The owner borrowed the money to pay the builder, and gets his money back in equity (or rent). In any event, it isn’t the banker’s fault. They don’t deliberately make bad loans – that’s insanity. They do know, however, that statistically a certain percentage of their loans will not perform. Their interest rates reflect that.

I doubt that Hillary is all that upset; after all they’re Communists, so they’re allowed to do as they please. More than likely, we’ll open up free trade with them so we don’t hurt their feelings by acting like we’re mad at them. Now if were somebody like Japan or a NATO country, we’d slap them with sanctions so fast it’d make their heads spin.

Gay people have always been equal in Iowa. It’s a “Certain Inalienable Rights” thing involving a “Creator”. It’s kind of complex, involving something higher than arrogance and self righteousness – you liberals wouldn’t understand.

Oh yay! I live in Lansing–just a few miles from East Lansing (MSU-ville), and I’m just DYING to experience yet another basketball-induced riot. Another basketball-induced is all Michigan needs right now. The black eye it’ll give the Lansing area (we’re experiencing a full-blown depression here) will be more far-reaching to this state than any silly NCAA championship.

The thing is, whether the Spartans win or lose, there’s going to be a riot, so we’re screwed either way. It’s a lose-lose proposition. Damn you Connecticut!!!
