Graysonret – there were a lot of politicians that wanted to continue Kowtowing to the Barbary Pirates too.. Jefferson had to fight like He!! politically to get funding for the first Barbary war. Another disgrace. Apparently the captain of the Maersk ship was able to briefly escape the pirates by jumping overboard — yet the Navy just stood by and watched while they recaptured him. This demonstrates the problem with the obamanite administration’s appeasement and law enforcement approach to any and all terrorist or now piracy situations.

What should have happened here was an around the clock shoot to kill order – if the Captain appeared to be in imminent danger or he was able to escape, instant action by trained snipers.

This is now a terrible further embarrassment to the USA. We got change all right.
