Big Hammer and Anvil: You are absolutely correct. These are supposed to be warships and war aircraft, and they are standing off to protect themselves against a couple of idiots with a machine gun or two at best. Move the damn ship within ten yards of the pirate boat and fly the helicopters real close to create a distraction. Then use the SEALs from underwater and blast the bums to kingdom come. Then way anchor and head for the other pirated ships as well as the pirate mother ship. Blow them out of the water. Then way anchor again and head for the beach and blow the pirate mansion or compound to dust and debris. Yeah, a few good guys will die, but the pirates will no longer be a threat to anyone for a long period of time. This has worked quite well in Pakistan’s lawless region, I might add.

Folks, I’m rooting for the pirates. Not that I like the pirates or what they are doing.. or that I want to see any hostages hurt. I’m rooting for the pirates because I’m desperate to see anyone anywhere have enough gonads to expose Barry Soetoro (aka Barack Obama) for the despicable sissy that he is.
