    Great link Michelle …

and coming from the AP it is a bit surprising … kind of makes one wonder where those good stories have been for all these years … of course, it most likely will go unreported on the Alphabet networks and the rest of the MSM …

Yep, the MSM is worthless. Just look at the cover of Newsweek that claims that Christianity is on the way out. Yeah, right. Who did they poll? The four guys in the newsroom?

gathered Sunday to celebrate Easter, even as roadside bombings killed a U.S. soldier and wounded four other Americans in separate attacks north of Baghdad

Typical AP report; don’t forget the deaths…..and especially if it involves someone who volunteered to give up their life in defense of freedom.

If you are not tuned in to Michael Yon to read about St. John’s church in Baghdad reopening with the assistance of their Muslim neighbors, you’re missing half of the story.

Glory be to God, Christ is RISEN!

So glad the Captain is safe. So glad men like these serve in the US Navy! Three shots, three kills! From the a rolling deck out to sea no less! It is hard enough to put three rounds on target at a shooting range that isn’t bobbing up and down.

I hope these 3 pirates discover their “72 virgins” are amorous boars!

Newsweek is right! Christianity is quickly dying out, especially in Europe, North America, Middle East.

Fortunately there is a mass exodus from Christianity, a religion filled by corruption, pedophilia, lie. Christians keep dropping worldwide, while other religions (Islam, Hinduism, Buddhism, Jainism, Baha’i etc.) are growing quickly. In Europe Churches are empty while Mosques are full. At the beginning of the 20th century Christians made up 40% of the world population, at the beginning of the 21st century that figure was down to 33%. In United States alone, the christian population dropped by 9% from 1990 – 2000. More and more people are looking at Christianity with a critical eye: people want evidence, they want logic. Christian “values” are harder to accept nowadays.

I don’t recall the Bible, Christian doctrine, nor historical Christianity advocating any of these things.

Me, too. That’s why I became a Christian over ten years ago and haven’t looked back.

Christian “values” are harder to accept nowadays.

This sounds familiar. I recall authors from the “Enlightenment” saying similar things. Christianity seemed to hamper their perverse lifestyles too much, hence the reason for their diligent, yet feeble, attempts to discount and discredit the claims of Christianity.

    edelweiss,
Assuming you aren’t playing Devil’s Advocate and truly do not believe, I urge you to accept Christ before it is too late.

Edelweiss, I continue to pray for you. I notice you didn’t mention China. One poll I read, I don’t remember where, said that thousands come to Jesus Christ every year. Another I read, again, I forgot where, said that the Chinese Communist Party had 75 million members, but there’s an estimated 100 million Christians there.

Hey Edelweiss. what do you have to say about Islam’s treatment of woman? You know like murdering a woman because she gets raped to save the family honor, while letting the rapist walk. Oh and Irans hanging of gays? I haven’t heard of any christian ever doing things like this. Just curious why you hate Christians so much.

    Speaking of what polls show…
Percentage who believe Jesus Christ rose from the dead…
    2007: Seventy-five percent (75%)
    2008: Seventy-six percent (76%)
    2009: Seventy-nine percent (79%)
