Teachem2-
The Memphis Tea Party was a wonder event and the best thing is what didn't occured; no Memphis Police or Blue Crush were there for crowd control.

The only thing I saw that was closely related to a counter protest were four passing motorists that passed by giving the single finger salute (aka the bird) with some profanities. The best thing is that our protestors were the classiest and gave a sincere friendly wave with a :)

BTW-I was the guy in kilt with Gadsten Flag.

Atlanta had 5,000 minimum - one person thought it was closer to 10,000. I left around 8:30p and larger groups were still coming in.

I look at today's turnout, and I can only think of one thing to say...

Hey Michelle Obama:
For the first time (in a few months) I am proud of my country!

Just got back from the Sugar Land, TX Tea Party. Wanted to stay for the whole thing but the crowd was a bit much for my massively introverted self and I could barely hear the speaker from the periphery of the crowd so I decided once I had some good pictures to come on home. I'm happy to report there were a lot more people than I was expecting. I should have some pictures up by tomorrow morning.

Just got back from the Memphis Tea Party. The early estimates I heard were between 2000 - 2500. It was very well organized and there didn't appear to be any party crashers. It was awesome!

Liberals are scared that their opposition may be on the move. Look at their actions. You can see and smell the fear. They toiled so long and so hard to paint conservatives as hate mongers and themselves as loving kind humanists, even though they used hate speech and overt racism to do it.

Now it is all unraveling and they know it. If this was the end of it they could rest easy, but this is the tip of the iceberg. This movement has the promise of sweeping clean the Congress in the next elections and moving right on through the White House and Obamas insane economic policies of tax & spend. And since history has proven that tax and spend does not work, the economy will continue to be sluggish and the backlash will continue to grow.

Heres a hint Obama, want to grow the economy? Cut taxes. Very simple. Of course, you won't be able to buy your votes that way and that is more important to you than a functioning economy.

They thought they had the market cornered and now they are losing it and they are scared. The people speak!
