Aaaaannnnd there goes any shred of credibility you may have been clinging to.

Sorry – but after 8 years of not-as-peaceful protests, vandalism, and assassination chic by the left – all your stupid, childish, hysterical complaining of these overwhelmingly peaceful, grassroots protests is nothing but sheer hypocrisy.

If liberals didn’t see this as a threat, they wouldn’t respond.

By the way – don’t let this be a one-day movement. I found After the Tea Party and it seems to be a great site to help us continue to organize and fight.

lgm, quit bashing. Really, you can move to a country that taxes people out of their shirts under the mask of “helping the people”, all the while taking away the freedoms that America was founded to protect. But those of us that want a country such as what our Founding Fathers created have no other options but the USA. So, quit Limbaugh bashing, quit Fox News bashing, and buy a ticket. I bet a bunch of us would pitch in to get you to France.

Embrace the term. Dont shy away from it.

Fine. We’re teabagging the government. Ooooooohhhhh, I said a dirty thing, I am sooooooooo ashamed. Well guess what, its better than what my other phrase is.

    It read:

“I hate taxes, but I really hate tea. Death to Mint Medley! Death to Earl Grey! Death to Tetley!”

Oh yeah, and taxes are too high.

Instead of having the next round of TEA parties on July 4th, as has been suggested, I would suggest that we strike again while the iron is hot and celebrate in on May 1st, which would allow us to counter the May Day events supported by the Communists. I think the irony of anti-Communists coming out in force on May Day would be too much for the MSM to swallow.

Yes, and hold the parties in front of their buildings: local t.v. stations, local newspaper buildings, as well as the national media – Rockefeller Center, CNN Atlanta, etc.

The MSM is the REASON we are in this socialist / collectivist mess – the politicians simply follow their lead and are too afraid to fight the Beast.

So 250,000 peaceably assembled people exercising their 1st Amendment right to protest a government that is in the process of shackling our future generations to TRILLIONS of dollars of debt is some sort of ‘stunt’? Sorry Ms. Schakowsky, you simply don’t ‘get it’!

This wasn’t exclusively about Obama or only about democrats or only bail-out money or only illegals or only taxes, it is about YOU and every other politician like you who has totally FORGOTTEN the founding principles of this country and gone your own way dragging us along behind you into oblivion.

For one, conservatives really don’t DO protests and I felt out of place at one (other than the first tea party a few months ago, I have not attended anything other than a political rally since I cannot remember when).

And it is not the taxes as much as the spending. And not the spending as much as the uneasy feeling that the relationship between the people and the state has changed, possibly forever.

It is that last thing I think I found most depressing. That somehow our relationship with the government is changed.

I believe the phrase actually originated in Online Video gaming, or at least it spread that way. A player would “teabag” an opponent (stand over his character’s head, doing knee-bends) as a sign of pubescent superiority.

And while you’ll see pictures of frat boys doing the same to passed out “friends” at frat parties, I believe they’re mimicking the online gamer crowd.

So you see, this is yet another aspect of the spectacularly incredible immaturity of liberals. They’re basically using the phrase a 13 year old gamer uses.

He posted the following comment today Mayor Sam’s blog…

“What a bunch of wackos at the Van Nuys tea party. Kinda a scary bunch. If you can imagine the Kevin James nut job crowd all in one place.”

    Nice, huh?

Please keep this in mind next time you see him filming at one of your protests.

    Suggestion for next move.
On the 4′th of July don’t go to DC or State Capitals, “they” won’t be there.
Go to “their” homes. Start at 1..2..AM,
    Party all night and day.

I think our theme song should be Twisted Sister’s We’re Not Gonna Take It.

MtsEdge – I too was blissfully ignorant of the term. And quite honestly, I could have lived the rest of my life not knowing the term. Alas it was not to be.

And yes, it is VERY telling that the left knows it sooooo well. And very telling that the MSM call our Tea Parties despicable, but don’t seem to mind the use of that term.

One word of advice for our clueless, overspending and out of touch elected officials—- get ready to be unemployed!

Now if we could just take their life-long health care & full salary away, we’d be money-up on the deficit scale!

So you see, this is yet another aspect of the spectacularly incredible immaturity of liberals. They’re basically using the phrase a 13 year old gamer uses.

Its was also a major ‘joke’ to an episode of ‘Its Always Sunny in Philapelphia‘ last season. They were hunting ‘human’ (who was a homeless guy they went to high school with) as the ultimate game. If they caught him then he would get teabagged. But they were bored with it because they needed a new penalty, since they have been doing it to him since high school. If you want to retain any scruples, dont watch the series.

VERY low-brow humor. Even my youngest teenager refused to watch more than one episode.

I’m wondering if all the little towns will be counted someway. I didn’t think about it yesterday, but several very small towns in Oklahoma had turnouts too. Weren’t very big, but enthusiastic.

We were not counted in any national numbers I’ve seen, but Huntsville, AL Police Dept. just estimated ours at 2,500, which seems fair to me. Unfortunately, it doesn’t count all the people left in traffic trying to park, and never got there! The organizers were expecting numbers in the hundreds I believe.
