CNN beclowns itself

By Michelle Malkin  •  April 16, 2009 12:42 AM

Call the wah-mbulance.

So, the Tea Party protests are “not fit for family viewing” according to one very unhappy CNN reporter, Susan Roesgen, who also fumes over what she calls an “offensive” anti-Obama sign that compares Obama to a fascist. (And yes, I told you this was going to happen.)

But guess what? Newsbusters caught the same indignantly indignant Susan Roesgen covering an anti-Bush rally in New Orleans in which she blithely refers to a huge Bush puppet with horns and a Hitler mustache as a “lookalike.”

She called today’s events “anti-CNN.”

No, just anti-stupid.

CNN earns the Tax Day Tea Party Big Loser Award:

Biased. Busted. Beclowned.

***

Runner-up: Rick Sanchez plays the race card.

Warned you about that, too. Who needs ACORN to do the dirty work when CNN will do it for them?

That is what they’re trying to do. They thrive on confusion and bitterness. They demand UNITY from their minorities. No one is allowed to think for themselves.

Don’t I know it. I deal with imbroglios of this nature in my family (I’m the only republican) and on a number of occasions, I have had it out with various posters here. Because the moment they learn that I am both black and conservative it shakes their worldview and stereotype of what Republicans are, that’s when they really let the insults fly. It’s as if they are saying: “How did this happen????”

I’m no fan of CNN, but, in fact, Dobbs’ position is against ILLEGAL immigration. The fact that Leftie whiners cannot discern the difference between “legal” versus “illegal” immigration gives a strong indication of their lack of basic maturity and intelligence.

that and their honesty. the left’s entire agenda is based upon a lie..they ‘care’ for us…when really they want to enslave us and impose their agenda upon us.

but they can’t be honest about that.

liberals are liars to their core.

Even though we’re used to the MSM left- wing bias, I was absolutely appalled at how this unprofessional, angry, confrontational “reporter” attacked regular Americans because they have a different viewpoint to hers.

It was one of the most unprofessional, sickening spectacles of so-called journalism that I have seen in a while. She was so mad while she was lecturing the very articulate man with the baby, that she was actually stabbing her finger at him.

No wonder CNN only has three viewers. They don’t “report” for all Americans, only left-wing Americans, forgetting that half this country is on the right, almost a 50/50 split.

Come on now, calling conservatives racist is old. I thought you libs made up for lack of intellect, logic and reason by being “hip” on current events.

We were racists (because the debate over amnesty would have been lost otherwise) in 2007 and into 2008.

We are radicalized extremists now (because otherwise the debate against every single on one Obama’s economic policies would be lost otherwise).

    Keep up.

I was mad at first, but now I like it. When a lib calls me names it means I have won the argument. Funny how it happens over and over again.

There is no longer any question in my mind whatsoever, that the liberals today are DIRECT result of their indoctrination by the government-run public schools, and the liberal universities. They have our children held captive for 6 hours a day. You can do a lot of brainwashing in 6 hours a day, for 9 months a year. WE MUST GET OUR CHILDREN OUT OF THESE INDOCTRINATION CENTERS BEFORE IT’S TOO LATE. We can save the next generation, if we act now. Private schooling, home schooling, or, if you HAVE to send them to public school, follow what they are being taught very very closely and be ready to refute a lot of it! Folks, this is of vital importance if we ever want our country to get back to it’s roots.

Or could it be merely because Obama is black? I would guess that at least half of the blacks in this country who voted for Obama, had NO CLUE as to any of the issues, but voted entirely based on his race. If that isn’t racism…what do you call it?

or that the rest of the liberal establishment voted for him because he is half white?

My children have NEVER spent a day in public schools. And you are correct in pointing out this obvious reason why we don’t let the government indoctrinate our children. The government is actively making little socialists. We will have no part of it.

Save your kids. Take them out of public school!

Among the most despicable comments directed at us by the left stream media was uttered by Anderson Cooper at CNN, specifically that we were too busy “tea bagging” to talk. If you are familiar with the work place laws against sexual harassment, you know that comments made like this in the work place are considered, by the EEOC, to create a sexually hostile environment which is illegal. I have learned that one of the best ways to fight the left is to use their own politically correct bureaucratic enforcment apparatus against them. Hence, my memo to Tom Johnson, President of CNN, (tom.johnson@cnn.com) protesting Cooper’s comment – WITH COPY TO THE EEOC (info@eeoc.gov). Let’s see what action the left’s own thought police take against one of their own…

Mr. Johnson: You certainly must be aware that Mr. Cooper’s obscene sexual reference constitutes the creation of a sexually hostile environment, in violation of Civil Rights Act prohibition against discrimination based on sex and EEOC guidelines prohibiting this conduct in the work place.
CNN is finally covering the tea parties – by attacking the participants. After anchor Anderson Cooper made an obscene sexual joke about attendees,

What does that mean? To me it means that this silly shrill has admitted rather clearly that she and her company is devoid of objectivity. I mean, these events are clearly anti-Obama polices that are running roughshod over America, so if this offends their sensitivities as being “anti-CNN,” then what an admission that is! They are clearly in the camp of a particular political party and their leader.

Hey, Anderson Cooper, I never heard of teabagging until yesterday. Appparently you are more familiar with the subject.

Hey CNN & MSNBC pundits and “journalists”, your references to teabagging is a sexual term that only applies to females and homosexuals, and thus could be classified as discriminatory and hate speach. Expect to be hearing from the ACLU and the Department of Homeland Security in the near future.

I am talking about after 1964, when white southerners left the Democratic party (at least nationally) in droves for obvious reasons. As I have pointed out before, the 1964 vote was more about region than party. True, more Dems voted against because the the South was overwhelmingly Democratic. Also true, the GOP proceeded to do anything it could to pick off those Southern Dems.

Proof, please. As pointed out in the book “Wrong on Race” that’s not exactly the truth at ALL. And why would racist southerners LEAVE the Democrat party in droves after the 1964 vote when it was RACIST SOUTHERN DEMOCRATS who were the MOST STRENUOUS IN DEFENDING SEGREGATION??? What sense does THAT make? What, leave and join the party whose platform had always historically been AGAINST segregation??

As a black person myself, a Christian first, then a conservative, my soul is SICK TO DEATH of paternalistic white folks telling me what ideals “have appeal” to me or not. My grandmother, who passed away at 95 two years ago, my 70+ yr old parents, and some of my siblings are VERY conservative and had no problem voting for McCain/Palin (to be fair, my Dad supports Obama, too). Please keep the racist groupthink bridle to yourself; I’m thinking for myself.

Finally, Sharpton, Wright, James Cone, Father Pfleger (sp?) et al are INDEED racists. You don’t get a pass because you’re a minority yourself.

From his bleeding heart show on his family during the let’s all support amnesty run up of a few years ago, I question his loyalty to the USA.
