Where are the adults at University of North Carolina-Chapel Hill?

By Michelle Malkin  •  April 16, 2009 01:09 PM

The free-speech squelchers at UNC-Chapel Hill threw a temper tantrum during Tom Tancredo’s speech.

I can hardly stomach watching the videos. And I am very grateful that Tancredo was not harmed.

We’ve seen it so many times before: Administration officials and faculty who refuse to act like adults on campus. They are worse than AWOL. They have encouraged this thug behavior for years. Mob rule has dominated when pro-immigration enforcement speakers dare to speak at America’s universities:

Michigan State.

Georgetown.

Columbia.

Why would you donate to these schools? Why would you send your children there?

Does anyone at UNC-Chapel Hill who countenanced this latest freak show have any shame?

So long as UNC tolerates that behavior it will continue.

the irony is that these kids parents were the peacenik hippies of the 60s/70s who were screaming “facism” and chaining themselves to the colleges because the college wouldn’t give them a forum to voice anarchy and global karma fulfillment. now the children won’t give a forum to anyone not espousing the agenda of the radical left. let’s see, didn’t bill ayers bomb universities because they were just a puppet for the man? hmmmm.

Tancredo was a principled congressman and a genuine GOP presidential candidate. From this video, you would think he was Bill Ayers. What has the world come to? Well, the rest of the world has come to the USA.

Wait, is this a trick question? Adults on university campuses?

You have to be nuts to send your kids to a college like this. I wouldn’t send my kid there if they paid me to. What spectacle!

And did that dude say “this represents racist white male…”? Seriously? The race card?

    So, let’s recap:
    1) Shout down and be uncivilized: check.
    2) Chanting some rambling phrase over and over again: check.
    3) Race card: check.
    4) White-male bashing: check.

The faculty of UNC is fully behind this mindlessness. They are indoctrinating a generation of no-thought brutes, just like in 90% of all the “institutions of higher learning.”
