    A sad fact to this is a number of otherwise decent southern Democrats that feel they have to go along with the party agenda just to get re-elected. Both parties (D & M) have morphed into something far from what they should be, and against what is best for the American people.

    Sorry but that is a bit too strong. Did the Republicans get it wrong on spending when they could have shown fiscal restraint? Could Republicans have shown what conservativism is and can do and how the country and us could be so much better and did not? Yes. Very much so. But to say the Republican Party and the Democratic Party are one in the same is simply not true.

    The Communists totally control the Democratic Party, but while they have made significant inroads into the Republican Party (a la the John and Meghan McCain wing) they don’t yet control the Republican Party. However, they did manage to win the battle for our party’s Presidential nominee. They lost the battle over the VP nominee, but they did (and continue to do) everything they could/can to destroy Sarah Palin.
