Sadly, I honestly believe that the vast majority of the American public is going to willfully sit back and swallow whatever they are spoon-fed by the administration, a complicit congress and a willing press. Thinking for themselves would be too much work for most people and they really do feel better served letting the government “handle” it …without any thought, concern or belief that the government really is we the people.

Sorry if someone has already mentioned this…but why should this guy release any information about his past when the POTUS won’t even release information about where he was born? I mean, get real. I am so disgusted with the whole bunch of them. Obama has not chosen an honest person to serve in his administration…period. Consider the source and weep.

I Agree.

1. We must find a way to prevent the hijacking of our election process (i.e. Franken, etc.).

2. Meanwhile, we need to encourage as many people as possible to vote Republican and recruit new voters, despite any current grievance with the party leaders or politicians. To divide our vote would be counter productive.

3. Be seen, be heard but be nice. Be honest, be firm but do not let our anger overshadow our common sense.

4. Soft, intelligent answers cause the left to show themselves for the hatemongers that they really are. They can’t stand it.

I’ve read several posters here who think this republic can be saved by Civics 101, with nothing more required of them than voting, or attending a TEA Party.

I contend that is delusional.

I have read several posters here who are sanguine that they can vote out the rascals, including Obama. Nothing to fear…this is all business as ususal, we’re just another election cycle from righting the boat.

I contend that is delusional. I can and have pointed to excellent reasons that support that we are not in normal times. The next election will be less “business as usual” than any in American history.

We have to do something to stop it…

or just quit grousing about it.

We must start working NOW for reforms to our elections process.

There is way to much room for fraud righth now, and several of the 2008 elections may have been stolen (including the Presidency). Massive ACORN fraud. Massive Credit Card fundraising fraud. Non-citizens allowed to register and vote. Dead people “voting”. Etc., Etc., Etc.

The elections in Iraq are more honest than the elections here.

I’d like to see protections in our system to ensure that:
1) Only U.S. Citizens are allowed to register
2) No early voting
3) Positive photo ID is required to vote
4) Ink-dipped finger ensures each voter is only allowed to vote once.
5) Foreign money is kept out of our elections
