What’s wrong with the official apology for the Manhattan fly-by?

By Doug Powers  •  April 29, 2009 04:07 PM

The “official apology” on the White House website would appear to have a mistake in it:

Somebody needs to tell the White House to stop referring to the flight that buzzed Manhattan as “Air Force One.” The plane only gets that call sign when it’s carrying the president. Or… was it?

These guys are such morons. Even when they aplogize, they continue to show disrespect for the military and tradition.

If they had any respect, they would learn the proper terminology and use it. The sad thing is, this statement is allegedly from Louis Caldera. If anybody in the White House would know the proper terminology, it would be Caldera.

I would bet you dollars to donuts that Caldera had no involvement with this statement, and that it was written by one of Obama’s “Boy Genius” idiots, who has not a clue about anything.

Uh, the Pretender chickened out of his jump! In an effort to highlight his first 100 days, he wanted to jump out of Air Farce One sans parachute. At the last second, he realized that 1,000 ft. was still too high, even with all the hot air he spewed as cushion.

He developed a nose bleed! ;D

If this had happened under George Bush’s watch, the left would never shut up about it.

If Bush had had the same first 100 days that Obama has had, then the Dems would have started impeachment proceedings (and I would have agreed with them). Fools and idiots run the White House and its administrative staff.

Every time I think about this “Air Force One” incident, I am utterly incredulous. The rank stupidity of these people, and their bratty elementary school attitudes regarding who they think ought to be in charge of everything and everyBODY in America is infuriating.

The worst people imaginable are in charge. Just sit back and let that sink in for a few minutes. I once lived in the greatest nation that ever existed, and these morons are going to utterly destroy it.

At an Airshow on a Public Tour of Airforce One about 8-10 years ago, I remember the Spokesman (Air Force Pilot)saying that NEITHER VC-25 AF1 or VC-25 AF2 CAN BE MOVED without the President’s “Absolute Authoriztion” in case of NEED that AF2 be there to evacuate White House staff along with AF1, or to REPLACE AF1 in extreme case.

OBAMA PERSONALLY AUTHORIZED IT…JUST LIKE HE PERSONALLY AUTHORIZED “NO SHOOT” ORDER TO NAVY SEALS.

…What is wrong with the apology,…

It was NOT an apology. It was an excuse.
No contrition or sincerity, just an excuse. No penalty involved. No acceptance of responsibility, just “We did it, So what?”
