Conyers chickens out of ACORN probe
Democrat Rep. John Conyers backs down from his pledge to investigate ACORN fraud: Bok, bok, bok.
Matthew Vadum zeroes in on the right question: What happened in a mere two weeks to change Conyers’ mind? Did he get a call from friends of ACORN in high places? Did he get something else? Why drop the call for a congressional probe in the very same week that ACORN criminal charges have been filed in Nevada and Pennsylvania?
What gives? Or who gives?

The same Rep. John Conyers who introduces H.B. 40, each Congressional session, seeking an investigation into America’s need for reparations to descendants of slaves?
The same Rep. John Conyers who sent a letter last week to A.G. Holder urging an investigation into the Five Civilized Tribes’ of Oklahoma treatment of Freedmen, and their descendants’ eligability for enrollment in tribal membership,
essentially usurping the tribes’ rights of self-determination?
That the same guy? He must like ACORNS.

Watch Glenn Beck tonight. He’s slated to have seven of the Acorn 8 on to discuss their allegations of corruption at Acorn. They’re probably still all strong Obama supporters, but they allege systemic misconduct throughout Acorn. Also, Beck has had Acorn spokesman on this week. He behaved really, really badly. Real race card dealer, although he’s not black. Made a pass at a producer off-camera, then left an incriminating phone mail message on her voice mail that was played on air the next day. Swift. Acorn is full of thugs, let’s face it, and they have an “in” with the WH. Right, Rahm?
There is no way Queen Pelosi House is going to prosecute corruption and just look at Rep. Jefferson for proof. Politicians like Rep. Conyers will be stopped in their tracks every time with this administration.
Someone from ACORN probably reminded Conyers that they once registered a lot of fraudulent voters to help Conyers win election and that that information just may become public accidentally.
He was also asked why he would attack the fund raising, vote-getting arm of the Democrat Party that is funded with our tax dollars. A service he has directly benefited from. Talk about biting the hand that feeds you!

acorn is a criminal organization, and should be investigated and prosecuted as such. but no one will because it isn’t p.c. to persecute black organizations. now if this were the nra doing this voter registration of ghosts and convicts, the whole world would be after them.
He chickened out? Or acquiesced to requests that he should stop investigations?
Beck kicked him off the show for playing the race card.
It’s no surprise that this ACORN official played the race card.
In fact, I would have been surprised if he hadn’t.
Why?
FACT: The Program of the Communist Party USA, mentions variations on the word “race” (racial, racism, racist) 124 times and variations on the word “oppress” (oppression, oppressed) 116 times. The overarching theme of their entire program is that white male capitalists are oppressors and the system (capitalism) must be dismantled.

… and this Communist worldview has been forced upon college students, whether they want it or not… they have been required to sit through forced indoctrination, telling them that the white male capitalists are racist oppressors.

Detroit and Chicago do have several things in common…corrupt black leadership, and high crime rates are just two, but Detroit wins hands down in the illiteracy rate, and in the number of ACORN-approved voters.
With the amount of appropriation money Conyers has earmarked for education in Michigan, one would have thought things would have changed, for the better over the years. Instead, the black population is still uneducated, poor, and angry.

Michelle, you really did not think that Conyers, of all people, would have EVER seriously considered investigating his master’s pet organization.
Remember, Obama is “keeping score”, and the political fallout from claiming to investigate them and not doing so, versus actually investigating them and having to deal with Der Fuhrer is a pretty large no brainer.
It would be nice if our representatives had any intestinal fortitude. Of course if they did, they would have another job title than “political whore.”

I was listening to the very end of Glenn Beck’s radio program earlier today and guess what? The original appearance of the ACORN seven on his T.V. show came down to the TWO who had the courage to go through with it! Glenn made some excuse about the cost of “last minute airfare” (since when has THAT EVER BEEN A PROBLEM FOR A NEWS ORGANIZATION???)
BUT DO YOU KNOW WHAT I THINK??
THOSE PEOPLE WERE MOST LIKELY THREATENED BY THE EXISTING ACORN THUGS!!!

I watched the show and the two brave women who had their say despite the threats shared some powerful information!
Isn’t it odd that John Conyers dropped his call for an investigation into ACORN?

One of the ladies on the show mentioned that Gerald Nadler was against it and pressured Conyers into dropping the investigation.
Hmmm….
I wonder who else pressured Conyers to shut up??

P.S. Oh yeah!! I can’t forget this part. At the very end of Glenn’s television show, he stated that the hate emails were coming in at an alarming rate. But not only against him – against the women for speaking out!! No surprise there…huh???
Glenn asked for us to pray for their safety. I have and will continue to do so.
However, I think that if the other five had shown up and millions of Americans had heard their stories too, then they would be more protected due to the fact that they DID speak out – even when threatened (both before and after the show) by the “powers that be.” There is something to be said for safety in numbers…in this case – safety in the number of people who now know the truth about corrupt ACORN!!!
