    That Bill Schift character does the warm up act each night at the Ed Sullivan Studio before David Letterman speaks to the audience. Schift is incredibly unfunny. I have been in the Letterman studio several times for the Late Night program and each time Schift is even less funny than the last time. One time he was trying to peddle a book of his humor.
