The votes required on Unions is regarding their termination.

Many, many years ago, I was in a healthcare union. We were only about 10% of the total employees of the hospital system. When it came that time of year to get pay increases and bonuses, union members got theirs about a month later than the rest, and at a rate less than the others, plus a letter in the mail telling us how the union won a major victory.

We kicked their ass out one day, then all was well. Never looked back either.
