    Side note: Coupe of months ago, I was sitting in a court watching a 16 yr old kid get his wrist slapped by a judge.

    95+ in a 65 zone. The judge left the license intact, wiped the speeding ticket and lectured the boy to think about that he could kill himself. ( and “what would his mom think then”)

    I do get the sense that my Senators and my Congressman pretty much ignore “contact emails” sent through their websites. What I get back sounds like a form letter gussied up a bit to fit what I complained or asked about. I’ve yet to receive a direct answer to any direct question I’ve ever asked. Ever. It’s usually…

Remember…this is California.
