    It’s important to publicly contest some ideas. Lots of pols & mdeia give lip service to honoring vets, but their true attitudes slip out when they let their guard down. John Forbes Kerry is a good example.

    I don’t know how much this would or should be an influence on whether or not people would donate to this, but someone should tell Blackfive that contributions to 501(c)(4) entities are generally NOT tax deductible, as he is currently claiming on his donation page. One exception is made for veterans organizations, but that comes with very stringent membership requirements limiting it to vets, whereas he appears to open it to anyone.

    It does say that he is applying for both 501(c)(3) and (4) status. Hope he gets (c)(3).

    What made you change your mind, Barry? Why all of a sudden you like our veterans? Although that is a welcome thought, we are honoring the fallen on Memorial Day, not our veterans nor the current men and women in the service. Are you still going to insist you see them in the audience?

    If you truly want to honor our fallen heroes, you should stop making it difficult for the living members of our military to do their duty. You ought to be a good CIC. Stop offering our belly to the terrorists and other enemies.
