They DID do this for many of the bills passed, but eventually they got passed, once the dems extorted what they wanted in earmarks.

The Dems already had Communist sympathizers in their ranks back then. Henry Wallace was FDR’s Ag Secretary, toured Stalin’s gulag system, and had no problem with it. He was FDR’s VP his third term, party officials, knowing Wallace was a communist sympathizer, angled Harry S Truman into the VP slot for FDR’s fourth term, as his failing health was becoming apparent.

Wallace split from the Dems in 1948, arguing Truman was too hostile to the USSR. George McGovern was a campaign volunteer. Wallace’s campaign manager was a Soviet agent, Wallace knew it, and didn’t care.

Wallace and his ‘Progressive Party’ drew about as much of the vote as another Democrat splinter party, ‘The Dixiecrats’ who split with Truman over modest civil rights reforms. I’m not certain, but I’d guess Grand Kleagle Senator Byrd was probably a ‘Dixiecrat’.

The racists and the communists folded back into the party after losing. The communists, of course, had support from the USSR. After the disasterous Chicago convention, McGovern led a committee to reform party nominating rules, giving activists the inside track. McGovern’s nomination in 1972 was the watershed, the pro-USSR wing of the Dems controlled the party, and over the next thirty years, the Scoop Jackson/Hubert Humphrey anti-communist wing of the party was marginalized. Perhaps as a nod to Gramscian and Alinskyite theory about Marxist revolution in an advanced capitalist and democratic country, the Dems also quickly aligned with pro-abortion forces and militant homosexuals. Al Gore had to perform a miraculous conversion from moderate pro-life Senator from Tennessee to militant abortion rights supporter to seek the nomination in 1988, in 1992, Governor Casey of Pennsylvania was denied a speaking role at the convention that nominated Bill Clinton because he was pro-choice. His son ran as a pro-lifer in PA, then promptly supported Obama’s funding for overseas abortions.

Democrats with principles like Phil Gramm sought nomination as Republicans, and ran as such. Just an interesting compare and contrast to Jeffords and Specter, who ran as Republicans and accepted money and support, then jumped parties.

Not every Democrat is a communist, of course. Byrd has been a Senator for decades, and wants to retire when he chooses. Casey likes being a US Senator. He doesn’t seem bright enough to make that kind of money outside politics. The inner city machines are engines of corruption.

Then, of course, you get politicians like Obama, eager students of communists like Dohrn and Ayers, but also beneficiaries of the corruption of the Cook County Democratic political machine. (Mrs. Obama’s dad was an employee of the machine, and apparently a well paid one, and her Princeton studies suggests she was deeply into racial grievance, another avenue of attack popular with Democrats and communists.)

Now, a lot of the people who voted Obama just knew the NBC/CBS/Newsweak version of a stunning orator (no mention he is useless without a teleprompter), a ‘moderate’, a ‘uniter’.

Obama will do his best to make the US a one party state, a Northern Hemisphere Zimbabwe or Venezuela. The Dems need voter fraud, hence support for same day voting and registration, and attempts in states like mine, Texas, to prevent a requirement for picture ID to vote. Because Obama’s policies, even with a complaint media covering for him, will start really ruining this country by 2012.

Of course, even if a patriot becomes POTUS in 2012, he or she will inherit a decrepit military, an expensive health care entitlement, and a massive government debt and a devalued dollar. Even in defeat, Obama will have met some of the goals of American hating communists who run the Demonratic Party, a permanent weakening of the US in relation to the rest of the world.

If he does win in 2012, then I think it is safe to predict either an Obama presidency for life or one party state like Mexico (which has finally ended) where the President would select his succesor in the PRI party, who would always win.
