By the way, a Nuclear Japan? Red China will not only not want that, I daresay that they will do ANY-thing to keep it from happening, including invading Japan. While I’d be all for Japan having nuclear weapons, Red China is not, and they will never sit idly by and let Japan rearm….

It takes judgment. I am not ready to declare Obama a failure because in a few months he has not solved a problem that was decades in the making and resisted the efforts of several Presidents before him.

What judgement, lgm? The kind of judgement that sacks a decorated Five-star general who had the right ideas for WINNING the war in Korea? The kind of judgement that should have let MacArthur be cut loose to WIN the Korean War instead of going for the tie? lgm, your DEMOCRAT Boy “Give-’em-cream-puffs” Truman is the man who bears the lions’ share of the blame for North Korea even beign around. Hard ot believe that Truman was the same man, who, seven years before, dropped the nukes on Japan and rendered them pacifist for the next six-plus decades!!!!

How asobut President Clinton’s judgment in sending a clueless Secretary of State in 1994, and again, later, an even more clueless Sec’y of State to “broker” a “deal” that ended up giving the North Korean Government exactly what they wanted based on their bad faith: A Nuclear Reactor and all the heavy oil they needed to get it going and keep it going. How’s that for judgment, lgm?

Let’s pray and hope that President Obama DOESN’T have the same kind of “judgment”….

What efforts, lgm? The efforts of DEMOCRAT President Truman to win the war in Korea? Ooops, I guess we forgot that Truman went for the tie instead of the win. There’s one Democrat’s efforts, and it has directly given us the problem we have now. If DEMOCRAT Truman had WON the war in Korea rather than going for the tie, we’d not have this mess, and likely, Red China wouldn’t be Red.

How about President Clinton’s efforts? Are Forgettingm lgm, DEMOCRAT Bill Clinton’s giving the NoKos a friggin’ NUCLEAR REACTOR based on a false promise form the North Korean Government? Madeline Allbright waltzing in and signing a deal Kim Jongil had no desire to keep in the firstp lace? Lets see, that’s two DEMOCRAT Presidents, and Two Efforts, with nothing but TROUBLE as the result.

And what has been the result of President Obama’s desrire for “compassionate” discourse towards the two-bit terror states and ten-penny dicators ,and wanting to “sit down and talk” with our enemies?? Two successful weapons’ tests (if we include Iran, that number rises to four) in two months. And what is President Obama’s reaction? He’s “angry” and he “condemns” North Korea. So far, that’s been it: words and “condemnation”. President Obama — if he truly cares about the USA — needs to put his money where his mouth is.

As some others have posted in here, I have more faith in Kim Jongil and his words than I do our own President’s…..

Did the Dep. of Education take over the Dep. of State? I mean, this all reminds me of a whiny, emasculated substitute teacher’s endless pleading for the kid next to me to stop slinging spit wads at the chalkboard (you know, the kind that smack and stick to the board?).
Seriously, are there any men left in Washington? This is embarrassing. It’s the day after Memorial Day for crying out loud! They could at least do we relatively few veterans/service members the respect of at least acting like men.
